Krog Street Market in general is great fun and highly recommended. But this local artisan ice cream maker is next level. Prepare for long lines that move reasonably quickly or try to go during off hours (mid-afternoon, etc)

Probably our favorite Farmer's Market in the city, its open on Sundays (though check the Facebook page because it's occasionally canceled for concerts in the park.) Lots of great fresh fruit and veg, but also wonderful breads, meats, cakes, dog treats, etc. It's in the same park as the Atlanta Zoo.

This is one of the bigger neighborhoods next to us. Home to Piedmont Park (the opposite side of the park is Midtown) and some really great shops and restaurants, you can get here via the Beltline. You might rent a scooter or bicycle to make the trip go a little more quickly.
