If you're interested in a more challenging hike, we recommend the Castle Rock Trail. It's an amazing place for beautiful photos. It is long so we suggest bringing plenty of water. (Weekends tend to get crowded and parking is limited. It's best to go early.)

Big Bear BoulevardIf you're interested in a more challenging hike, we recommend the Castle Rock Trail. It's an amazing place for beautiful photos. It is long so we suggest bringing plenty of water. (Weekends tend to get crowded and parking is limited. It's best to go early.)
Big Bear Discovery Center is a great little visitor center located in Fawnskin. They have little exhibits and have special tours and events. You can go there for info on camping, hiking, biking, etc.

Local is one of our new favorites. It is a Hawaiian style little cafe. They have delicious smoothies, acai fruit bowls, coffee and teriyaki/rasta bowls. Their island latte is our favorite! It's made with their coconut/macadamia milk and lightly sweetened with raw sugar cane. :)
(No indoor seating, good for food to go. Also, usually closes at 5pm)
