Drinks & Nightlife

The local (it's down stairs) watering hole caters for everyone. Live sports, a family friendly dining room, classic Australian pub front bar, open fires for winter and breezy windows for summer. A wide range of tap beers and daily meal specials. It's pretty laid back (unless the Freo Dockers have a game on) and closes at 10:30, so it's the perfect hotel to have at your doorstep.

Parks & Nature

This is our favorite thing about our apartment. You can walk there in a couple of minutes, and it's an excellent beach for swimming. Also great for kicking a ball around on the lawns. There are more beaches to the south which make a great walk or run, and there is a seaside bike/walking trail too.

Fremantle is a working port with a long and varied history, and everything that goes with that is captured here. Look out for Australia II, the yacht that won the America's Cup from the USA for the first time ever in 1983! The Ship Wrecks Museum is also worth a look (and it's cheaper too).
