The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is a world class symphony. If you are able to take in a classical (or pops) concert, it would be well worth your time. Rush tickets are $25.00. Sammy's Trattoria is a good place to eat if you are attending the symphony. They can be a little slow, so be sure to let them know that you are attending the symphony and they'll speed things up. www.bsomusic.org http://www.sammystrattoria.com/

Superb productions with a bent for social commentary. If you are going to a play, Flavor and Plates are two restaurants very near by that have good happy hours until 7:00 pm. Their food is good and their prices are fair even if you don't make the happy hour time frame. https://www.centerstage.org/

This is the first monument built to George Washington. Climb to the top for an excellent view of Baltimore. https://baltimore.org/listings/historic-sites/washington-monument-and-mount-vernon-place The monument is located in Mount Vernon, which is a neighborhood with beautiful old homes. This is a must see neighborhood for anyone who is interested in architecture and in city flavor. It is adjacent to The Walters Art Museum. While there, stop at Flavor Restaurant for some good and reasonably priced food. Happy Hour is a great way to eat dinner on a budget. Parks & Nature

This is great for a view of downtown Baltimore. It has playground equipment for children, and enough space for a small group to play catch the flag or touch football. Federal Hill is an important spot in the nation's history. It was used as a look-out during the War of 1812 and as a Union fort during the Civil War. http://www.federalhillonline.com/history.htm, https://www.bmoreathome.com/federal-hill-history/
