During low tide, you can drive right up to the edge of the water. This beach looks out over the river directly to Parris Island. You can see some of the barracks and hear the troops when they're out marching or on the rifle range. Located just a half mile from the property!

The Anglican chapel was constructed in 1740 by planters on Saint Helena Island as a chapel of ease for parishioners who had difficulty traveling to worship at the Parish Church of St. Helena in Beaufort, South Carolina.
