Savvas o Popeye restaurant is a very short drive or walk from our Villa. The restaurant is famous for tradition in taste. Try fresh grilled fish, seafood delicacies, fresh octopus cooked in wine, fried squids, shrimps and mussels, fried zucchini balls, fava from Santorini.

Perivolos is the most up-market and organised beach of Santorini, with famous beach bars and restaurants, water-sports and happenings during the summer season. As one of the most vibrant places during daytime, Perivolos attracts many young people who like parties and want to have fun.

Less than 15 minutes from our Villa is Red Beach. The unique colour of the sand and the breathtaking volcanic landscape make this beach a must-see destination. Its particular rock formations treat travellers to stunning views, and the smooth, mirror-like sea creates a contrast with the bold red of the shore. The beach is pebbly and not ideal for lying, though its rock formations make it perfect for snorkelling.

Vlichada beach is a short distance from our Villa. This beach stands out for the overwhelming carved cliffs that resemble a sculptor’s work but is, in fact, a natural process owed to the volcano, the wind and the sea. It is a lengthy beach with relatively shallow waters and dark volcanic sand and pebbles, like most beaches in Santorini. Not that crowded but organized with multiple sunbeds, straw umbrellas and a canteen, you can spend many relaxing hours here and cherish the spectacular sight all around. Merely this natural wonder makes it worthwhile.

Pyrgos Village in Santorini is a hidden gem. It’s the former capital of Santorini and the best-preserved medieval settlement on the island, the village of Pyrgos retains an unruffled air of easy grace.
Just 12 minutes drive from our Villa , a different side of Santorini emerges, an aspect that harkens back to the picturesque Greek villages of yesteryear. Here, the pace of life is more relaxed; cats stroll in the alleys, families dress up in their Sunday best to go to church, and piano lessons can be heard through the open windows of the cultural society. The main square, with its tall pine trees and quaint little coffee shops, is the focal point for socializing and entertainment.
