Only 20 minutes from historic Bennington, VT, 15 minutes to Arlington Vt. and just down the road from the home and farm of Grandma Moses. Enjoy antiquing here in Grandma Moses territory. Visit the City of Saratoga Springs with its famous spas, healing waters and clubs. Go to the state capital of Albany or take a drive through the Adirondacks to visit all the lakes. The Green Mountains of Vermont are known for the best Fall Foliage. Great mountain drives to Mt Equinox in Manchester, Vt. or Mt. Greylock in North Adams Mass. Drive up to the New Skete Monastery in Cambridge and experience the beauty of Washington Co. Special times are the Cambridge Balloon Fest in June, Bennington Battle Day in August, the Washington Co.Fair in August and July through August the Saratoga races .Winter fest in Lake George and Christmas in Cambridge. See a show at one of the many theaters near by. Hubbard Hall in Cambridge is a restored opera house that hosts many award winning plays in every season here in town. The Dorset playhouse in Vermont and Proctors of Schenectady both offer quality entertainment. Enjoy Washington Counties history, covered bridges and the local arts. Very popular are the local micro breweries! Take a 'brew' tour and get a taste of the local area. Go to Manchester, Vermont for great shopping or Saratoga Springs, NY for the best night life.
