The Dowrie is a restaurant and a bar at the entrance to the premises. It has recently begun to offer tapas (proving very popular!) as well as some lovely original dishes, catering for all tastes.

Walking along the Esplanade from our apartment, if you follow the walkway along the front, you come across Mareel, a brilliant arts centre providing lovely views across Bressay Sound as you sit in the bar area. Mareel provides snacks and coffee/tea as well as cocktails and guest beers. Mareel also has 2 cinemas and is a venue for many local and visiting bands.
