Getting around

MBTA Bus Routes and Subway

You can catch the MBTA #77 bus on Massachusetts Ave. just at the end of our street. The 77 takes you through Porter Square into Harvard Square in about 20 minutes depending on traffic. You can also catch the MBTA subway (red line) in Porter Square or Harvard Square. The red line will take you to Central Square, Kendall Square/MIT, Boston Common, Downtown Crossing and beyond. You can also walk along the Minuteman Rail Trail to the Alewife subway station. It is a pleasant 20-25 minute walk with views of Spy Pond.
