The go to Louisville Park for any kind of person. Would highly recommend walking the scenic loop where you'll get a small taste of all Cherokee park has to offer. Here, right off the golf course you'll pass doggy hill, Hogans fountain and splash area, frisbee field, multiple playgrounds, plenty of places to shoot off onto a woody trail, and beautiful mansions to admire.

For a beautiful day by the river check out waterfront park. There's multiple playground options and during the summer usually a festival going on nearby. This is also right by the brand new Big Four Bridge - where you can walk from KY to IN and look over the city with ease.
