Food Scene

Frankel's is an amazing modern take on a Jewish deli. The prices may be a bit high and the line may be a bit long after 11am, but the food is delicious. Our favorites are the BLT and the Number One.

One of the most sought after tables in NYC - truly incredible pasta. Reservations fill up months in advance, but you can swing by around 5pm to put your name down and get a table 1-2 hours later. In the mean time, feel free to explore the area or grab a drink nearby.

Our go-to spot for brunch - excellent modern take on Israeli food. There's often a wait so we recommend making a reservation if possible, or taking a walk to explore the neighborhood while you wait.

A very-Brooklyn coffee shop. This place has no frills, lots of wood, and damn good coffee. It's not somewhere I would want to spend hours reading a book, but it's our go to coffee spot.

Drinks & Nightlife

For swanky cocktails with nice views, the roof of the William Vale is your spot. It's definitely expensive, but is worth it if you're looking to treat yourself with incredible city views.

Our favorite local dive bar. Drinks are affordable (for NYC), there's often live music, and the backyard is wonderful when it's nice out.

Parks & Nature

A large, very active park. We love walking around and people watching, but it's also great for running, frisbee trowing, and lounging.

One of the newest parks in NYC, and one of the most interesting. It's built on top of an old railway on the west side of Manhattan, and spans over 1.5 miles. You'll see great views of the city, many awesome vendors, and lots of excited people walking around.
