Great for a drink and meal with views with character. You can't usually book a table, so we usually go there on the off chance and have had luck most of the time. They have a good range to accommodate different diets including vegan.

13th century pub. Amazing inside and a great place for people watching if you fancy an outside drink! Very busy in the summer, but really worth a visit. The local artist show their work inside where there are little 'stable' style seating areas for couples and small groups.

Fancy a walk to the next Bay, then I'd highly recommend Carbis Bay and you can travel further to Porthkidney beach which is fabulous and a must see. You can catch the train back from Lennant or Carbis Bay train stations, said to have the most beautiful views in the country!

Fancy a good walk? This is a great walk from St Ives, although take care and take a snack and drink and the right clothing just in case the weather turns :)

Like modern art, then a must. If you're not sure, then simply ask when the tours are (which I think are free) and you'll discover if you like it or not! If you definitely are not an art lover, then ask at the pay desk to bypass the gallery to the top floor cafe and just admire the views over the surf beach (the best). Food is a bit expensive, but I guess you're paying for the views and gallery.

Local beach, brilliant if you have little ones and just around the corner from Mulberry Loft! My hubby loves to go there to read the paper and have a crab sandwich lunchtimes!

Amazing little museum which used to be Barbara Hepworth's studio fully restored with the garden and workshops left untouched. Ask then the guides are (free) which brings the museum to life!

Anna local to St Ives runs the beautiful little gallery and I confess I can't resist going in whenever I visit. Anna sources locally and can tell you about the artists too. Great for an investment purchase or something for a memory of St Ives.
