The North Rim is 90 miles from Kanab. Beautiful drives overlooking the canyon. Lots of great hikes. The road is closed in the winter.

Antelope Canyon is a narrow canyon with beautiful colors, swirls, and textures. To visit the canyon, you have to join a tour. It can be crowded. We definitely recommend LOWER Antelope Canyon if you're able to climb up and down steep stairs.

Buckskin Gulch is the longest slot canyon in the US. You walk about a a mile down a sandy wash to Wire Pass, which has a small slot canyon. Wire Pass opens to Buckskin Gulch. The canyon is quite deep and sometimes has pools of water. You can walk as far as you like.

Lake Powell is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. Park at Glenn Canyon Dam - very interesting museum and walk over the bridge - Wow! While you're in Page, visit Horseshoe Bend. On the way, you might want to visit the Toadstools.
