Food scene

Hochacup has by far, the best coffee in Hochatown. You may find yourself here every morning. There is a variety of coffee options, along with housemade syrups. My go-to is the Pumpkin Spice Almond Milk Latte, made with real pumpkin. The location can be a bit hard to find. It's located behind the E-Z Mart in an open, dirt space with other vendors. It's 100% worth finding!

One of the cutest, tastiest treasures in Broken Bow, Amy's Macarons & Bakery shouldn't be missed. The flavors are delish, the texture is perfect, and they all look beautiful. Some of my favs include Wedding Cake and S'mores.

With unique (yet totally delicious) flavor combinations, The Eat Out is at the top of my list for "best restaurants in Broken Bow". They have lots of options to choose from – even some GF! Also – Don’t miss their brunch menu served from 10am - 2pm on weekends. They have incredible Mexican inspired breakfast dishes like Chilaquiles (a great option for those GF!), Chorizo Tacos, and Dos Huevos.

When you first arrive, I highly recommend stopping by The Market at Local 259 – it's less than a 5min drive from The Denizen. You will find local produce, speciality groceries, wine, toiletries, everything you need for s'mores, charcuterie boards, and more. If you have any dietary restrictions (i.e. gluten free, dairy free, grain free), The Market at Local 259 has some really fantastic options.

Gorgeous waterfalls and marvelous river views, Friends Trail Loop is a 1.5 mile loop trail that takes about 45min to complete. This trail is a perfect hike to fully appreciate the beauty of Beavers Bend. My personal fav!

An absolute must visit to appreciate the beautiful setting of Broken Bow, and less than a 10min drive from The Denizen. Make sure to get a parking past online before going to the park (in case you lose cell service). There are tons of trails for hiking, rivers/lakes for fishing, etc. If you love to run, I recommend parking by Friends Loop Trail and running to Cedar Bluff Lookout Trail.
