Just a quick 20 minute drive through beautiful Balsam mountains will land you in Waynesville where there are an abundance of local artisan shops, restaurants and other really cool things to see and do. Beach Mountain Diner serves up the BEST breakfasts and lunches. Go early because there's usually a wait after 9am! You won't regret it!

Pie Times Pizza Company is a simple establishment attached to a local brewery. One side is wood fired oven pizza pies and the other side is fresh beer! Suitable for both kids and adult travelers. A favorite of our kids!

Step off the railroad cart and go on into Boots for a juicy steak! Great for a fancy date night or Anniversary/celebratory dinner. High end. Suited for quiet evenings, not recommended for young children.
