*It's not a restaurant. It's more of a market. Do you love sushi as much as I do and hate the price? Yama is a household name in the 626. He's a very nice and generous chef. His pre-maid sushi is so reasonably priced that it gets snatched up just as quickly as he puts it down. Don't fret... he has fresh fish in his fridge. Just pick the piece that you want and he'll slice it up for you. Fresh sashimi in your home... it's just perfect. Go early! This place tends to have long lines or run out of fish.

I just have to plug this place in. Teo Chew noodle house... you will not find anything else like it. Be aware, parking is packed during lunch hours so just park on the street. There's 4 different kinds of noodles with hundreds of combinations... you will have a problem of deciding because everything is great! O, and their satay is a secret recipe that no one else knows about.

Beautiful place where you can eat, enjoy the outdoors and some art. On a clear day, you can see Catalina Island from the hilltop. What used to be a private home is now accessible to the public. See beautifully curated lands - from Deserts to Japanese Gardens to Lily Ponds. You can spend hours here and not even know it.
