The Snowline neighborhood has a trailhead that leads through magical mossy trees to a trail along the Nooksack river. Follow Rainier Way to the trailhead! There are also many fantastic hikes all throughout the area!

The Glacier Public Service Center has lots of info about the area. The forest rangers are often there, especially in the summer, with maps and suggestions on where to hike and what to see in the area.

Sightseeing

Artist Point up on Mt. Baker is perhaps the best viewpoint in the whole state. During the summer guests can drive up to the viewing area, in the winter it is a relatively easy snowshoe hike. Highly Recommended.

Picture Lake on Mt. Baker is a must see. It’s an easy 0.5 mile ADA accessible flat walk around the lake on a well maintained path. Views of Mt. Shuksan across the lake make a picture perfect vista.
