A great way to spend an hour or so - wander around the city walls, it takes you through some beautiful parks (Bishops Palace & Priory Park) and great views of the city and cathedral

The beach! Beautiful long sandy beach…be warned though, it gets BUSY on nice days! You can avoid the parking fee by taking a 20 minute walk from the town and get there by boat instead if you can!

Bit of a drive but one of my favourite drives through The Downs. Be prepared to stop and take in the scenery - go with the flow and explore. Petworth has some lovely (slightly more expensive) cafes

Want to find a bargain? Gunwharf is a factory outlet shopping centre with LOADS of bars and restaurants and a cinema as well. Head up the Spinnaker Tower to get great views across the harbour too
