A NY classic joint. One of the oldest! The best coffee for the best price. Don’t forget to get a pastry or two, the almond croissant and the quiche are my favs

Great spot for drinks and dinner, the just food is okay but the main attraction is the interior of this restaurant. It’s one of the oldest in New York and the inside is just incredible.

The best bar to hang at with friends, especially if it’s not a great day to be outdoors (rain snow etc). Just walk in the front doors, up the shiny staircase on the left and turn right at the top. The bar is beautiful and they serve great drinks and food. They’re also incredibly dog friendly which is surprising because the atmosphere is totally upscale. Staff can be a little rude but the drinks make up for it. Amazing margaritas and espresso martinis. Great place to go with a small or large group because there’s tables and sofas for either option.

Very easy to walk to: just take the west side highway straight down. You’ll get to see the Statue of Liberty (from afar) on your way there too!

Nighttime scene

Such a fun experience. You can reserve online, be sure to show up early! There will be a long line but once they open the doors everyone goes in within minutes. Reservations are typically free with a two drink minimum once inside. Everyone checks their phones at the door. This is a hotspot for SNL actors to perform in their free time! Guaranteed good time.

Great bar to go to for a more intimate time. Go all the way inside to the back and you’ll find couches and small tables to sit and drink at.

Adding this one on my list twice because at night this bar/restaurant turns into a club vibe and plays great house music. Not usually overly crowded

Wine

For whenever you need some quick refreshments!
They are super friendly, and the wine is organized by price - the least expensive in towards the front door, and as you make your way in to the back the prices increase. Great selection and VERY convenient!

Pharmacy and beauty supply

My favorite pharmacy and beauty supply store. It’s one of the oldest in New York! The staff is very friendly and they have tons of European products that are hard to find elsewhere. If traveling with a dog, bring them in here and ask for a treat!
