City advice

Getting around

Cars are necessary in Fauquier. The DC Metro is 45 min east.

We live on a VERY sharp curve. Please use caution turning into our entrance! There are several "back roads" on the way to local wineries. Look out for deer! If you want to visit Washington, DC, you can hop on the Metro at Vienna. It's about a 45 minute drive.
Customs and culture

The Warrenton Hunt

Don't be surprised to see red-coated equestrians on our road on the weekend during Hunt season. You will hear the hounds before you see them!
