One of our favourite walks from the house - following a river most of the way. Good running route too. Go through Endcliffe Park and keep going through Bingham Park and Whiteley Woods. Eventually you reach the Peak District. Forge Dam cafe is about 45 mins walk and a great place for breakfast/lunch/ice creams.
