Already well known as one of the top ski/snowboard resorts in the world with circumferential skiing from the peak down, Mt. Bachelor is also just a cool place to grab a beer or go for a hike. Snowshoe or cross country ski in the winter if you don’t want to pay for lift tickets.

Technical climbing, hikes

The birthplace of sport climbing and home to over 1,300 routes, there’s a route for everyone. Even if you don’t climb I recommend hiking misery ridge trail to the top for a beautiful view and a chance to see some insane routes on the way. Make sure to get there early to find parking.

Similar to Wild Ride but with more food trucks, a bigger selection of beer, and live music every week. A local favorite.
