A local family oriented gastro-pub within an easy 5-10min walk from the Art Studio, located at the bottom of our private lane. It does good food, is dog friendly with a great outdoor space. and a big log fire in the winter! Tom and his staff are great fun, welcoming and always provide a fabulous service. It's our local and has been a firm favourite amongst our previous guests. Its worth checking their website for live music events and look out for the monthly organised early morning social dog walks followed by a breakfast.

A great place for brunch and soaking up the alfresco cafe vibe. Enjoy an evening of Jazz on the Pantiles during those perfect summer evenings. Summer Jazz events are listed here It’s worth pre-booking at one of the local restaurants on The Pantiles of you want to enjoy a meal whilst watching the jazz. If not, it’s nice to mingle and pick up a pint from the little pop-up bars or establishments along the Pantiles.

Our favourite of favourites! ( especially if you love a good coffee!) This is a legendary little cafe with 2 locations in Tunbridge Wells ( on the little old high street and at the Forum). Definitely check them out. Mat, James and their staff are personable and know how to serve a great coffee! https://finegrind.coffee

The Pantiles provides a lovely genteel historical backdrop to some individual shops, art galleries, antiques, restaurants, bars and cafes. It has a wonderful ' cafe culture' and becomes the lively hub of Tunbridge Wells on Thursday evenings during the summer for the local ' live on the Pantiles ' ( formerly Jazz on the Pantiles), as described by Visit Tunbridge Wells: 'Live on the Pantiles is a much-beloved summertime tradition in Royal Tunbridge Wells! Every Thursday evening from May to September, the Pantiles Bandstand comes alive. Enjoy live performances by local, national, and even international talents under the open sky. Grab a table at one of the many restaurants or bars lining the Pantiles for a delightful dinner or drink. There’s a small fee to enter the event area, but you can listen to the music for free from the surrounding restaurants. So come on down, relax, and experience the magic of jazz at The Pantiles! Spectators space with a pop-up bar is available and foldaway chairs are permitted if space on the evening allows.' If you would like to dine on the evening for the event please contact the participating restaurants as listed on the Visit Tunbridge Wells website. For more information on the Pantiles, as part of the Neville Estate and the local history surrounding it, you can refer to the Eridge Park website.

A great way to spend an active day outdoors. Bewl is an easy 20-30min drive away. You will be spoilt for choice with its many water sports, Aqua park ( for young and old alike), fishing, walking and bike hire. It’s been a firm family favourite for us to spend an afternoon on the water in dinghies. There is a cafe at Bewl Water to soak up the view after a good walk. Many of the activities are seasonal so it’s definitely worth checking and booking via their website. https://www.bewlwater.co.uk
