There’s Tumalo Falls… but there’s so much more. Don’t be an average tourist who stops at the first (magnificent) waterfall. Keep going up North Fork for so many more falls! On foot may be the best option depending on your level of desired action. If on bike - this is an uphill only trail, your only option for return is Mrazek Trail to Farewell. An stellar route but challenging 14 miles of climb and descend. In the winter, only access is hiking or skiing in the 3 miles where the gate closes to get to the start at tumalo falls. There may be minimal trail broken into the snow beyond Tumalo falls, as most people don’t go up that far.

Bike or snow-shoe up via Tumalo Ridge Trail. Great access point to connect with other trails on your bike, or sit and enjoy the views with some hot cocoa in the wintertime. https://bendtrails.org/trail/tumalo-ridge-trail/

Neighborhoods

Amazing restaurants and breweries along Galveston and Newport Streets. Some favorites: El Sancho taco shop, Bo’s Falafel, and Sunriver Brewing on Galveston. On Newport: Spork (Mexican fusion) and Kebaba (Mediterranean) are fantastic.
