Travel Items
Pack comfortable wears as just about everywhere on Island is casual in terms of dining and shopping. Of course beach wear is a must. The Island is well equip to supply your needs. If you have special medications your require be sure to pack them.
Customs and culture
Culture
Our national music is 'Ripsaw Music' or 'Rake 'n' Scrape'.
Junkanoo: is a traditional Caribbean musical parade and you can see this at our Island Fish Fry every Thursday.
Maskanoo: is an exciting event that combines Junkanoo with a Masquerade and musical concerts. This takes place in Grace Bay, Providenciales on Boxing day every year.
Traditional foods: Crack conch, conch fritters, Boiled Fish and Grits, Peas and rice, Lobster, Conch salad and fried chicken.
