Australia Zoo is a must-do visit. The zoo is well run and has animal welfare and conservation very high on their agenda. In school holidays and many public holidays you are likely to catch the Irwins presenting one of the many animal shows. The Koala hospital is one of the best outfits in the country and offers you the opportunity to have an inside look when you book a tour through the premises.
