We spend a lot of time at Moclips Beach, because it's the closet, public access beach to our cabin. Moclips tends to be less crowded, too.

Do not drive to the river! You will get stuck. Instead, park at the beach entrance and north towards the mouth of the river. There once was a hotel at the mouth of the river. A storm came along and took it down. Some of the structure still remains.
