Windsor and its castle are great places to explore history and shopping. Over the river takes you into Eton where the famous college is based and the pudding ' Eton Mess' originates.
Sir Christopher Wrens old house is also along the bridge that takes you into Eton.

Unfortunately, king Henry the 8th destroyed the Abbey, but the remains of the wall and ovens can still be found there. Around the corner are a few quaint cottages which where part of Chertsey town in its day.
