Ways to save
The Metro
If you can park your car at a metro station, even a sketchy one, you have a lot faster mobility around the DC area. Once in DC proper weigh your options between Metro and ride share apps for quickest movement. ALSO there’s a metro station that stops RIGHT at the national mall aka where ALL the major sights are (took me 2 months of living here to learn that… :P)
