Stretching 17 miles along a former railroad corridor, the TART-owned Leelanau Trail connects Traverse City and Suttons Bay. The paved route takes users through rolling hills, forests, orchards and meadows and past streams, lakes and ponds, and is the perfect setting for recreation, transportation and environmental education. There are three trailheads: Cherry Bend Road, Fouch Road and 4th Street in Suttons Bay.
