Since it opened in July this is the hottest spot in town right now. It's a food truck collective with a permanent bar featuring live music and local brews. Food types available are tex-mex, asian and American with some variations. The scene is very Boulder and the music and beer is great! The food is the weakest link but still a great place to hang out and enjoy the weather. If you have a bike or feel like walking, take the Goose Creek bike path so you don't need to find a parking spot. The parking lot is guaranteed to be full every evening.

The tea house was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan (Boulder's Sister City) and rebuilt here in Colorado. The interior is very detailed and beautiful; a great place to sit for coffee, tea or a bite to eat. The best time to go is during the week when there are fewer tourists and it's easier to get a table.

This road goes right up Boulder Canyon to Nederlands and is a very beautiful, if twisty, drive. The waterfall half way up on the right side is hit or miss - sometimes open, sometimes closed, but the scenery is beautiful. Past the waterfall on the left are little turn offs next to Boulder creek and some have picnic tables, perfect for a morning or afternoon picnic.

Essentials

Ideal Market is a great place for a quick trip to the grocery. Owned by Whole Foods, Ideal has a decent selection of prepared foods and most everything you would find at a much larger store. For a full selection go to the Whole Foods on Pearl Street or Trader Joes on 28th Street, both just a few minutes away by car or bike.
