Owner and sushi Chef, Mr. Murakami, has been in the area for over 18 years. He's professional and consistent. They are open at 5:30pm for dinner every night. You will LOVE this place if you love sushi. It's on the pricy side, but you won't be disappointed. Get the OMG Roll (Oh My God).

I like to go here for a drink, near the back, under the trees. Go for happy hour and make it affordable. If you go late, you'll be there for trendy hour, which might not be as relaxing.

I like Starbucks at the Farmers Market. You can walk there or if you drive, you have to have the patience to park in their lot. Dupars, nearby, is great for a weekend breakfast!

Really great quality food in an old-fashioned restaurant. This one is at the Farmers Market and can get busy, so go early!

One of my all-time favorites in my area! This is a sushi restaurant/bar with a casual neighborhood feel. The sister restaurants are big, fancy and you have to be dressed to impressed for them. If you are around at lunch time, they have an affordable and delicious lunch special (week days).

If you want to hang like a local, a fun place is at the center bar at the Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax Ave. The bar serves local California beers and wine and there are food stands all around. Sit at any table and find almost every type of food you can think of. Not open late. Sometimes there is live music on the West end of the Market (near the other bar).
