Seafood Restaurant

“Another favorite oyster spot, but the rest of their menu (modern seafood, lobster roll, hamburger) is worth the visit as well. I love the East Bay location but usually go to Magnolia Road because parking is WAY more accessible. But you can't beat sitting at the oyster bar on East Bay.”

“This is a super fun place, one town over, in West Ashley. Fun food, great bar. In the midst of West Ashley’s triangle area. A little eclectic nightlife area with great restaurants. It is less expensive than downtown Charleston and filled with locals who want a fun and friendly bustling nightlife scene without the pretensions. ”

“Gene’s Haufbrau is a great dive bar where you can sample many of the local breweries here in Charleston. Taste a few and then decide which one to visit! Our favorites include Westbrook and Holy City. Not only do they have over a hundred different beer offerings, the food is great and the bar is filled with games for patrons to play. ”

“This is also a favorite. Homemade gnocchi and bread! A carb heavy meal... but worth it. The focaccia is homemade and out of this world. They guarantee that their olive oil, for dipping, is the best you have ever tasted and it is true! Great little bistro for dinner and then hit the bars all around it. Also in West Ashley. ”

“The best fried chicken sandwich you’ll ever have is made at this local favorite, which happens to be owned by my neighbors. There’s 3 locations, so it’s easy to pop-in for lunch no matter where you are. My go-to is fried chicken with pickled green tomatoes and bacon jam. Also, get the sweet potato fries!!! ”
