David was a fantastic host. The apartment was in a great location, and exactly as advertised. He even left us snacks and tea/coffee in our room. It was wonderful having the separate bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure to meet Estaban. He has a beautiful home with a fantastic back yard. The guest room was perfect en suite bathroom. The home is very near the Garden State Parkway.

This beautifully and perfectly restored home is as comfortable as it is quaint and quiet. Ideally located in the lovely town of Ridgewood, it is close to just about anything you might need. The home is easy to find in a quiet residential neighborhood. The homeowner is the perfect hostess, staying as available as you need - or not! I was busy all day and merely needed a comfortable bed with an accessible bathroom. The simple room with a single bed fit my needs perfectly. This is my first Airbnb experience, but not my last!

Third time staying with Susanne and again, everything was great. Communication is fantastic, she stayed up late as I was flying in late to make sure I had a key ready to go. A new twist (as its winter in NJ now)....room was PRE-HEATED for my arrival. I can't say enough about this rental and will be back again!

Susanne was friendly, available, and helpful. I liked the privacy. She checked on my needs before, during, and after my stay. The space provided everything I needed for a perfect stay.

Susanne is great. Very hospitable. A fun and interesting person. I am a Golden State Warriors fan and she check to see if the television in my sleeping area broadcast-ed the game. And it did :) If you are over 6'2" you could feel the ceiling height in the bedroom could be a little low. Parking was very easy along side the house. Commercial streets are very close but you are actually in a quiet nice neighborhood.

Our host had the fireplace going upon arrival and greeted us warmly. We were able to unwind from a very busy day and easily make ourselves at home. The bed and linens were amazing and everything was provided for an easy relaxing stay. We would definitely book again. We especially loved how quickly we could walk downtown to Starbucks and shopping. All of the reviews were right - - a great place to book!!!

A truly wonderful stay in a great suburban New York community. Jack and Mollie were excellent hosts;available by text or phone, but not intrusive. The house had sufficient beds and bathrooms for our party of eight. Master Bedroom suite is large and cpmfortable. Great kitchen, laundry facilities, family room, dining room, internet and cable tv. The Ridgewood train station is an easy 10 minute walk, which made New York City very accessible for us. Two supermarkets are a 5 minute walk. Ridgewood is a very welcoming community with many dining options, also within easy walking distance. We would not hesitate to return.

Great place with lots of space and a great yard. Close to everything the town of Ridgewood has to offer.

Martin's place is exactly as he describes: a charming flat in a tranquil neighborhood. I had a great night's sleep and all the privacy I could have asked for, a small feat considering that there are people living on every floor of the house. The house was quiet and clean; the bedroom cool enough for comfort with almost no light seeping in. Martin is a great host - personable and available to answer questions in a timely fashion. Would I stay here again? Absolutely YES. Please note, though, that what I found to be charming - reminding me of the kind of places we lived in during the Sixties - others may find to be too basic. Not a critique - just a comment.

Very disrespectful, a tenant came into my own personal space and took my t-shirt thinking it was theirs, the bathroom ceiling is falling apart, showers dirty, house smells like incense oils, host is very rude and everyone in the house makes noise overall my stay was horrible. Host is a nightmare as well. Try to stay away if you could.

Though I didn't stay at Martin's for long, I really enjoyed my time here. The room is a good size plus the living room is more than large and secluded enough to relax and even get some work done. Martin was very reachable, making the stay much more pleasant. I will definitely try to come back when I am in the area.

He was so kind as to pick me up from the airport the first day of my stay and to take me to the train station the last day that I was at his house. The space he offered me in his apartment has been very comfortable. I felt very good over there. Just a little tip for Martin: if you could repair the bathroom celing, it would be a lot more comfortable. Thank you, Martin.

Had a fantastic stay here. I like to keep to myself and I don't think I saw another person for the 3 days I stayed, despite others being in the home, which is great as I value my privacy. I texted Martin several times with questions and he always responded with answers. The place is charming and has so much personality. Do not expect a bland and impersonalized hotel room because this place screams flavor and color. The neighborhood is very quaint, quiet, and safe. I went out for a run and felt very comfortable passing through the neighborhoods. Overall, had a fantastic stay and I would love to stay again should I ever find myself back in the area.

My husband and I loved every moment of our stay in Elisa's lovely pool house, which really is a tiny house complete with every amenity. The large windows overlook lovely grounds and create a wonderful connection with the outdoors and sense of light and space. The quiet residential neighborhood is truly beautiful and peaceful, while it's also close to downtown Ridgewood and all it has to offer. Elisa was able to direct us to a restaurant that perfectly suited out needs, and she was extremely responsive to all of our questions, getting back to us immediately. There is always someone to contact if you need anything or have questions, and Elisa and her family are delightful people. The house is comfortable and beautiful, with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher. The bed was blissfully comfortable. This was the first time I ever spent the night in a new place and got a deep, restful sleep. The bathroom is beautiful and modern, and it, like the rest of the house, is impeccably clean. It passed my grandmother's most obscure housekeeping test: The water in the flower vase stayed clear the whole time. My husband and I were visiting for a family gathering in Glen Rock, and it was wonderful to be so close by. I can't tell you how grateful my husband and I were to find this wonderful place to stay.

This was my longest stay in an Airbnb listing. Michael is an incredible guy. He had a lot of stories to tell about his travels and work, which was perfectly fine as this is what people are looking for when they stay via Airbnb. He even cooked dinner on my first night. It was very good. He seemed to know what he was doing and gave me a few tips as well. Definitely something you wouldn't get when you stay at a hotel. The place is incredibly huge. It's located in a very nice neighborhood, very quiet. There is a pool at the back which I regret not jumping into. The rooms are just as described in the photo captions - furnitures are gone. But I had a surprisingly comfortable bed to sleep into. No problem there. I definitely would recommend staying at Michael's! I'll also sure try to make a visit and maybe jump into that pool!

Michael is a very gracious host. He not only greeted me and carried my bags inside in the rain but he also drove me to my event nearby so I wouldn't have to risk driving back after having a few drinks. The room is spacious and shared bathroom is updated. Coffee was delish.

The host is super awsome, enjoyed every single day there. Very helpful and interactive. In terms of property, it's huge and am seriously impressed the way Mike have maintained it. Accommodation is neat and clean, one would certainly enjoy the stay. If anyone is planning, looking for stay I guess this would be best place for the same. I would like to thank host for the service, help and dinner of course :)

Michael is a great host who goes out of his way to make your stay memorable. The house comes with a swimming pool and pool area good for those reflective alone moments - not to diminish the fact you can actually swim in a nice pool. The surrounding area is leafy and makes for a good walk. You will need a car to get to the shops. Michael was very kind to drop me off at the store. The bedrooms could do with some update.
