Very cozy space! We really enjoyed our stay at David's place. Our daughter loved the 'princess bed.' The kitchen had all hardware supplies (cups, pot, kettle), but not much for things like oil, coffee, etc. it still worked beautifully for our family of three.

David was very helpful upon arrival. Even before my husband and I arrived, he sent me a long message with helpful information about the location, metro stops, and about Paris. David was there when we got to the apartment. He showed us around, told us anything we needed to know, and whatever he didn't tell us, he had on laminated sheets. He also had a map of local restaurants, markets, and grocery stores. The apartment was small, but perfect for our 4 night stay in Paris. The loft space was higher than I thought, and had plenty of space. The shower was great, the location was right by a metro stop, and we really appreciated having a kitchen. Thanks again!!

I totally recommend David's lodge. We didn't need any help, but the host was always available. Lodge looks better than on the photos, very close to the metro station. We spent a wonderful time there :)

This is a FANTASTIC, cozy, and unique apartment that makes the best use of space in a convenient neighborhood of Paris that has little to no tourists. The Metro stop is literally right outside your front door and it's so easy to get into the Centre (about 25 minutes or so.) (Side note: Ubers are usually 2 to 5 minutes away and around $15 to-and-from major sites like Notre Dame, Louvre, etc.) But the absolute best part about staying here is getting David's recommendations. Upon our arrival, he went through a map of his district and pointed out spots for dinner, coffee, shopping, etc. - all within walking distance. The two best meals of our trip were in this neighborhood: Bistrot de la Porte Doree and Les Zygomates. We would've never found these on our own. They were true French restaurants - and they were INCREDIBLE. David really cares about your trip, and takes the time to make sure you're settled and feel comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Caroline waited for me to get into Paris from the airport and even flagged down my taxi when he cruised past the apartment. She very kindly left a few items in the fridge to get me started, and I like that she had her guidebook out for restaurants/grocery stores/etc nearby, as well as other practical information about the apartment. She was very accessible, although I never needed to bother her for anything. I was in Paris for a research trip at the BnF Francois Mitterand, so the apartment location was perfect - 10 minute walk from the library! Right by Metro 14 (and RER), which gives you quick access to other lines and more central tourist attractions. I happened to be leaving Paris from the Gare Saint-Lazare, at the end of line 14, so that worked out perfectly. Overall, I loved this apartment. Beautiful, clean, modern. Amazing wifi speed!! Thank goodness Caroline provides a big fan, because it tended to get stuffy, especially in the evening. She plans on getting A/C installed soon, which would make it even more appealing, I think (especially for us Americans!). At no point, though, was it unbearably hot. If/when I'm back in Paris for research/leisure, I will definitely stay at Caroline's again. Highly recommend!

This was the second time I stayed in Caroline's apartment. Communication was easy, the place spotless and calm and even the very high temperatures in Paris during my stay did not cause any inconvenience, I'll happily be back.

We could have spent most of our time in France in this apartment! It was so relaxing away from the bustle. Isabelle was so lovely I would give her 10 stars if I could! The bakery next door was superb -- I recommend trying the tarte aux framboises! The grocery store is a few meters away. We will definitely be back to this beautiful place! Thank-you Isabelle!

The apartment of Isabelle is very clean, large and fully equipped. And there is a very lovely garden downstairs where you can enjoy yourself very much. And Isabelle is super nice, also his son, they explain everything specifically to us. My friend and I spent a great time there. It was absolutely a pleasant trip in Paris. I will definitely choose Isabelle's house when I visit Paris next time. A bientôt, Un grand bisous.

We loved it here! It is such a beautiful space and Isabelle is so welcoming! We really enjoyed it. It's not hard to get into the city - super easy + this apartment had everything you need. The garden is breathtaking. Isabelle checked on us to see if we needed anything and invited me to a BBQ when I was traveling alone for a few days. Her and her daughter are so smart and so nice. I loved talking with them. Isabelle had breakfast with us too. We loved being a part of the French culture! I would definitely recommend this space. Thanks Isabelle!

We liked the neighbourhood very much.There was a nice bakery next door and there were also good supermarkets nearby. The connection to the RER to central Paris was fine and it was nice to be the only tourists on the train. Isabelle gave us a very warm welcome.

Isabelle was such a wonderful host! Extremely nice and thoughtful, and lovely to talk to. She was completely understanding about our situation with early check out as our flight was really late at night. The apartment was very neat and clean and facilities were well stocked! I would definitely recommend staying at her lovely home. There is a bus very close to her house that takes you to the station, where you can catch the RER D to Paris metro area. Very convenient!!

We had a great time at our Alfortville apartment. Superbly located with quick RER access to central Paris and a choice of boulangerie nearby for breakfast! Isabelle was lovely - she stayed up late to greet us on arrival and gave advice for our stay. The apartment is well equipped and well presented - clean and tidy. We felt very welcome and, apart from the weather, had an amazing stay. We were a bit late for our returning train and alas, we didn't have much time to thank Isabelle enough, but we shall certainly return again!

Richard was nice and polite. He has a nice place at gentile and you can take a subway/underground not far from the door. I will definitely come back, the house was clean and it has some kitchen supply as well. The heat was good as well. No complains. Perfect for people trying to visit paris, with the PARIS PASS it will inclued the metro to Gentile (zone2) if your want to buy only zone1 you will need to get off in Cite Universitarie but it will be OK only need to walk 10min tops in a nice neighborhood. At 3m walking you can find a place to dink and eat.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay in this place. The studio unit is large and clean. The kitchen comes equipped with plates and cooking utensils, as well as some spices and oil. We were able to prepare our own simple breakfast and dinner sometimes. This place is located within 5 minutes walk distance from the RER B line station which is directly connected to the airport. Very convenient.

By greeting us upon arrival and showing us how to use the amenities in the apartment. Also, it was great that the room looked exactly like it did in the pictures.

The room is exactly as described in pictures just perfect for two people! Very clean and comfortable with a great shower. Towels were provided as well as basic cooking utensils. Overall the location was a tad far from the center of Paris but very manageable to get around. Would visit again!

This place is wonderful and exactly as described in the info! It is very clean, more spacious than I thought it would be and a very good location. Richard and Dilek stayed up late and were very understanding when our plane was delayed and caused us to have a rather late check in time. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Paris. I don't think you could find a better place for the price.

This place is described accurately, has all needs for a studio apartment. A quick Uber or train ride into Paris. Richards communication on getting to the apt using public transportation from the airport was really helpful.

Everything was great. Nothing to say. not great area but very convenient with tram and metro. The apartment is at the foot of the stations. very welcoming and considerate hosts. The room was with balcony and independent veranda must be even more extraordinary.

Alex and Anaïs are awesome! They're super nice and very communicative. They waited for my mom and I to arrive outside to show us the apartment. The apartment is amazing!! (And the guest dog was the cutest and sweetest :) ) It's spacious and luminous and absolutely the perfect choice. The room itself is super cute with your own bathroom and best of all.... an outside terrace where you can see beautiful Parisian roof tops and the Eiffel Tower! I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place ! Merci beaucoup !!

Really nice room with private hotel like bathroom. It had a beautiful balcony to it and the view of paris was so nice. The building was 1 minute across the metro entrance so l liked everything about it.

We loved it! Everything was perfect and as advertised. The metro station just down the building greatly facilitated our movements. We highly recommend!

You cannot beat this value. You have your own suite with a rooftop and private bathroom. We had an amazing time and our hosts were wonderful. The only drawback is that the mattress is very uncomfortable. It's okay for a few nights but if you have any back issues, I wouldn't recommend it for too long. Despite that, I would still book this place again. Great location and great hosts. Merci, Alexis et Anais!

My stay at Frédéric's studio was great. The apartment is really nice and clean, and the neighborhood is really quiet and calm. The place is close to the subway which is really good. Frédéric and his family were really nice to me too! We had good discussions, they showed me the neighborhood on my first week there, and they were really helpful. I would recommend the place for sure!

The studio is bright and clean, well-provided with all the essentials. It was perfectly situated for my needs (the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand was within walking distance). Frederic and Lise were extremely nice and very helpful. It was a pleasure being there! A great experience overall.

Had a nice stay in Frederic's house. The kitchen was loaded with useful stuff and the pressure cooker was a surprise and saved a lot of time for us. The neighborhood was also vibrant with shops and restaurants of all kinds. The apartment and the washrooms were clean and spacious. The metro station Olympiads is hardly a 10 minute stroll away. The beds were comfortable, the washing machine and drying stand came handy and we enjoyed our time in Paris. However Frederic was off for a week-end during our stay. So couldnt speak much to him except when he received us on our arrival day. We also missed the Autolib electric car sharing programme as Frederic was out of town. Frederics place is recommended for a comfortable when in Paris.

We would definitely recommend this apartment. It was perfect for our needs - simple and light! Easy access to most trains and metro services made going out delightful. In a short time we felt we belonged in the building and the neighborhood. In the middle of the hottest summer on record we managed to stay cool! We were there six weeks and found enough quiet to finish a writing project. Our host was both attentive and respectful. We would gladly return to this address.

Two days in a barge beautiful ... We were looking for a genuine place or indulge in contemplation of a bucolic landscape ... We have not been disappointed. My stay at Cedric's was fantastic. Everything was as described! The apartment was just perfect for our needs. There is a small village down the mountain, with an amazing bakery and little shops and restaurants. The RER B (RER D takes you back to Villeneuve Saint Georges) is near by and will take you to Gare De Nord, from there you can get to just about anywhere in Paris. If you need Cedric just get in touch with him, he answers lightening fast. You really will enjoy this listing, its an incredible bargain for your money. Additionally, the he has kitchen utensils in the apartment should you wish to cook while there, and coffee. He is definitely a thoughtful host.

Excellent stay in this small pleasant and well positioned apartment to visit Paris which is 15 minutes with the RER D reached quickly on foot. Host very friendly and always available.

A quiet and comfy place with all amenities and a quaint wooden appearance. Grocery shopping is within walking distance such as the train station. The riverside is a big draw and Joel was the perfect host, accomodating and welcoming. If you drive, consider avoiding Villeneuve-St-Georges on the other side of the river. Traffic was just not moving when I was there whether it was 6am in the morning or 8pm in the evening. Thankfully, there are other ways to access Joel's place.
