“Excellent views of he city, plus massive sand beaches that seem to go for miles, especially when the tide is out. Also beach volleyball. Spanish Banks, is the most westerly of he beaches [unless one chooses to continue on to the nude beaches at Wreck Beach], but Lucarno, and Jericho beaches nearer the city also benefit from the tide exposed sand.”

“The cozy and intimate room is the perfect start to a wonderfully prepared meal. On the menu, there are a handful of dishes offered for each course; what they do, they do well. At La Quercia, diners enjoy classic dishes made with seasonal ingredients, and a changing menu. You can order from the a la carte menu or opt for a family-style experience. If you're with a couple of people, ordering family style is the best way to eat; it doesn't get better than enjoying the experience together. Complete your meal with a bottle of wine from their extensive wine list. La Quercia's family-style menu is worth the splurge and the best way to try a multitude of dishes. Local Recommendation - Book weeks in advance, this restaurant always gets book up quick.”

“My favourite little sushi spot. They do an incredible variety of noodles, rice, sushi's etc. They only have seating for about 30 so you might have to wait a few minutes. But it's worth it. Kids will love it as well.”

“A quiet and serious little authentic spot, but they offer take-out if you forgot to make reservations for this long-standing local favourite. Their menu doesn’t steer far from the classic options, and it doesn’t need to as everything is just outstanding. Try the Omakase (Chef’s Choice) menu for Chef Yuji’s daily best.”
