Le logement est idéalement situé. Nous pouvions à pieds rejoindre une piscine naturelle. Le jardin est magnifique et nous en avons pleinement profité. Un remerciement particulier aux voisins Arthur et Véronique qui nous ont accueillis, ils ont su se monter disponibles tout au long du séjour tout en restant très discret.

We booked this house, but at the time of arrival Lina's father let us choose between this house and their other one (you can find it as "Modern house" in Lina's listing) just on the other side of the road. We spent a month there, it was comfortable, and the view was amazing. We saw this house, too, it was clean and looked just like in the pictures (that's a 5-star in accuracy and cleanliness), and a lovely jet-black cow was grazing next to it most of the time. The Azores are full of cows, be sure to try the different kinds of cheese! Lina's father was very kind, and though we never met Lina in person, we chatted quite a bit in email, and she seems to be a genuinely nice person. They were very helpful and attentive, and really made our stay more relaxed. Oh, and as for Sao Joao, the little village this house is situated in: it's a perfect base for discovering the island(s), we'd go back anytime.

We felt very comfortable at Lina. was great that they were also in touch with us, when our flight and so the arrival was delayed. She had even made a little worried - very sweet! The house has everything needed and anything is missing, you might as well let them know. We have a total felt very comfortable :) Many thanks to Lina and her dad!

It could hardly have been better. The house is in excellent condition and are very welcoming. The location is ideal, overlooking the Peak on one side and the sea on the other, still standing at about 200 meters from a very nice pools with an excellent setting of the sun. An authentic island experience. Lina's house is perfectly integrated in the environment of Pico, construction and location corresponds to what we expected. All very clean and with all the equipment we needed. In addition, a very delicious welcome gift. 200m had one of the best bathing areas of the island, and a 5 min drive Lajes, the best place from which to do various activities and stock. The experience on the island of Pico and the house of Fagundes family was simply spectacular! Wonderful mountain views, quiet area outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. We were very well received by Mr. Fagundes, who waited for us until 1:30 a.m. in the morning, due to the delay of the boat. We had waiting for us a fantastic Welcome Kit with local cheese, milk, biscuits, teas, etc. The hosts are a sympathy and kindness extreme. They did everything to feel at home. We find the most comfortable house for 2 people because, in addition to the double bed, the house only have 4 single beds "somersaults" which does not make it very comfortable for older children, as is the case of our children, or adults . We were warmly welcomed and the sao jao cheese was ready. There was was nice view of the Pico, although often in the fog, but all the more special if it was erected. The house is located on the main road, but it is in the evening and at night very quiet, so you do not bother. Great base to explore the whole island. Near the whale watching Lajes and Madalena are you so.

We felt in the hotel in Sao Joao very well and were welcomed into the foyer. In the property we found even as a welcome greeting the local delicious cheese and bread before, what really surprised us! Everything was very nice and uncomplicated and we have really enjoyed the day on Pico, which offers much more.

The apartment is great, views towards the ocean on one side and to Pico on the other side. It has all the comfort you need and super clean ans modern. We met Paulo's brother showing us part of the island and very helpful with getting to know the area! Great place, great people.

This apartment looks beautiful in the pictures, but it is better in person. The views from both patios/balconies are amazing. One of the water and another of the mountain peak. Paulo is very attentive and has someone clean the apartment weekly to ensure a quality stay. It has everything you need and the town has some great little cafes and restaurants. Would certainly book again if and when I return to Pico.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casavo! From the house there is a lovely view over the sea and the mountain. There is an ocean pool, supermarket, restaurant and a little bakery in walking distance from Casavo. The modern appartement is very well equipped with everything you could think of. Paulo is a great host and made our stay at Pico Island unforgettable!

Margarida is a very kind host. She was waiting for us in front of the door at our arrival and she gave us good advices for dinner. The house is very nice and our big room was clean and with a lovely breakfast. We reccomend Casa do Brasao. Muitos obrigados!

We had a six night stay at Margarides place. Its a Nice, very Clean House with a lot of privacy. The badroom had an Excellent shower and there are More than enough towels. The livingroon (with the piano) is a very spacious. The only thing we missed was a Nice couch. Defenately recommand this place for a stay in Lages.

Margarida is a great person. She gave us a warm welcome. We've been felt well the whole time. Our room was cozy and clean, we could have a breakfast on the terrace. The house is central and really close by walk to everything you like in lovely Lajes. We can recommend the Pastelaria to have a breakfast and lunch. (2min walk from the house ) So totally we can really highly recommend to spend your time at Margarida's house. Obrigado Margarida.

We only spent one night at Margarida's. The location of her beautiful house is perfect. The room was clean and quiet and with private bathroom. We did not meet Margarida because she wasn't there but she prepared everything and her son gave us a nice welcoming. Obrigado, Margarida! Lara & Paolo

Just as I expected after being here last year, the perfect place to stay in Lajes do Pico :)

We rented both the 1st an the 3rd flour appartment since we are a family of 6. With that we had more than enough space! The exterior and surroundings are exactly like the pictures: beautiful and an amazing view over the vulcanic rocks, sea and Sao Jorge island and the vulcano Pico. The interior might be underestimated by the pictures: the appartments feel new, spacious and really well-finished. Since we were travelling with kids the pools and the playground directly on the other side of the street were really nice. Steve's parents hosted us and are friendly and hospitable. The location on the island is great for discovering the island. Close to Madalena and (when you cross the island) also pretty close tot Lajes. If I had to mention a con it would be that the water temperature and pressure vary quite a lot which could be a bit annoying, but that's really a minor thing. And besides the pool terrace and restaurant around the corner (should be not to good, not tried it) there are no places for a bite or a drink on walking distance. The supermarket is about 2 km away.

My boyfriend and I spent 4 days in Pico and Steve's house is a perfect base to visit the island. The house is really beautiful, very well equipped and just in front of one of the most beautiful place for diving and swimming. Gabriela and her husband are really nice and kind hosts, happy to help and give suggestions about places to visit and good restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at their house and we will definetely recommend you to go with them!

The house is newly built and located a short walk from the natural pools of San Antonio, diving center and restaurant. It has all the amenities needed for a very pleasant stay. We were greeted by the parents of Steve, who gave us lots of useful tips about the island and even gave us sample some regional products. In short: great location and great sympathy!

We don't know how we could describe our stay with Gabriela and her husband and pico the dog - WOW! There two people are soooo amazing and really nice and kind hosts! The place was perfect. Best Airbnb experience ever!

Great! Great! Great! The apartement was very clean, super cozy and has a very nice sea view! You just go across the street and there's the ocean- where you can go snorkeling - and a natural pool as well. Oposite the house there is a little snack bar with fresh and delicious food. The hosts were very friendly, acommodating and had lots of good tips for us. We'll definitely come back again!

Very good place in a very nice house of black stone (typical of the island). Spacious with towels, soap and everything you need in the kitchen. Paula was very friendly at all times, attentive and willing to help in all that were necessary. We made a very good impression. We definitely recommend this accommodation! We were pleased to stay at the home of Paula! Paula - friendly and welcoming host, always ready to come and help. Paula settled us on the second floor of the house in the Azores style. It is very unusual for us. The house has everything you need, large kitchen and bedroom, there is also a laundry service and internet access for a small fee. The house comes with a free small lizards, but do not be afraid of them, they live everywhere on all the islands and entertained us. The house is very cozy and clean, the decor is chosen with great taste and love. The house is a 5-minute walk from the ocean. It is difficult to do the Casa das Cagarras justice in a short comment. We simply had a wonderful time there. The lava houses have been renovated with excellent taste and are comfortably and beautifully furnished. Santo Amaro is a haven of peace. Paula is a kind and attentive host who put us in touch with a local fisherman: thanks to them both we had very fresh grilled fish on the barbecue at the house every night. It was magical to sit out on the terrace, watching the stars and listening to the cagarros. Muito obrigada, we hope we can come back!

As we promised we came back after the experience of August, choosing only one house a bit 'bigger, equipped with a kitchen. The place is also fantastic to November. Had a great time and once again we can not help but say, we will return!

We received a warm welcome and felt immediately at home in the lovely and well-kept recently renovated house. All facilities present as indicated, lovely local open air restaurant of Joao. The location is ideal for exploring the island from a quiet base. Paula was very friendly and committed, an absolutely recommended place to stay.

Roger was an excellent host. He told a lot about the island, made nice fish and was very friendly. The house and envoirenment was really ocean like. Big waves, rolling stones and salt! We would certainly recommend this place.

Roger's home was just lovely! It was easy to find with the map he gave on AirBnB and we were warmly welcomed. This is the perfect home for you if you enjoy simplicity near the ocean. It was comfortably furnished, had good WiFi and bottled water left for us, and best of all we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves each evening. He provided a dehumidifier (being by the ocean it was put to good use) and a space heater for chilly nights. There was an assortment of travel information (maps, restaurant menus, cultural books) left for us and Roger additionally gave exceptional recommendations for where to eat and drink around the island. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Casa do Cais again on my return to Pico!

Roger's place is great! From the front window you have an awesome sea view, it's great to be at home and be able to the sea, also you can see Fial island from there and that's a PLUS!!! The house looks as per the photos, perfect I would say, it's quite rustic as the all island is. Roger is also very nice and helpful. So it's your turn to stay in his house and meet his island!

Rogers place is great. It's a beautiful and historic location with the water only meters away. Really nice to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. The house is quite basic but has everything you need. Rogers cat Pippin came and said hello once a day which was cute. Thanks again Roger!

The house was really cute, with everything we needed. Roger was an excellent host. You can ask him for fish or seafood. His lobsters were excellent! Being at the harbour is a real plus. We enjoyed swimming there.

We had a wonderful stay at casa do cais! Roger was available to answer questions and helped us with booking a whale watching. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful historical location. Accommodations were à little rustic, but that was our expectation. We enjoyed our daily visits from Pippin (Rogers cat) and the sounds of the waves and sea birds. We would stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay in Pico so much! Fátima is a great host. Not only did she leave a huge welcome basket enough for our breakfast during the stay, she also baked us a delicious cake! The house is very nice, clean and spacious. Beautifully renovated, and with a great outdoor space. Our private terrace had the most amazing view over the mountain. Make sure to hire a car during your stay - there is no restaurants, markets or bathing areas within a short waking distance.

Maria de Fátima e o esposo providenciaram pelo transporte para chegar a sua casa e para ir de sua casa ao aeroporto; eles próprios me transportaram, mediante pagamento de quantia previamente acordada. São um casal bastante agradável e simpático. Fiquei num quarto na casa deles, por os demais alojamentos dos anúncios estarem ocupados. O quarto é espaçoso, com duas janelas que dão para a estrada principal. Tem casa de banho privada. A cama é muito confortável. O pequeno almoço foi muito bom.

Nous avons passe un excellent sejour chez Maria . Le logement est superbe , dėcorė avec gout et TRES propre avec une vue sur pico depuis la terrasse tout est fait pour qu on s'y sente bien. Maria est une personne extremement chalereuse,attentionnėe et accueillante. Les petites attentions comme le panier de bienvenue pour nous faire decouvrir les produits locaux a ėtė tres apprėciė... on s est rėgalė. Le logement est tres bien place a quelques km de l aeroport et proche d une piscine naturelle -santo antonio- tres agreable en fin de journee. Merci Maria !
