Your private apartment is next to our home; part riad, part kasbah, part cave, our lovely, newly restored earth home has kept much of the charm and tradition while including modern amenities (a Western toilet, washing machine, appliances, etc) to make sure you will be comfortable. A portion of our income goes to a local Berber women's cooperative of weavers who create the most exquisite, hand-woven carpets, which you can visit if you like.

Our Kasbah is an old traditional building made of adobe, straw, bamboo, eucalyptus wood, and forged iron. These materials naturally insulate the indoor temperature: keeping cool in the summer and warm during the winter. After one year and four months of hard work, the Kasbah is now fully renovated and has an authentic amazing touch. It consists of eight rooms, a restaurant, and tree terraces connected by a wooden bridge that allows you to admire the breathtaking landscape.

Dar Megdaz is a low-budget guesthouse with seven bedrooms and a shared bathroom, shared kitchen, and three shared lounges. It is impossible to drive vehicles all the way to Dar Megdaz. The tarmacked road ends 400 metres from our guesthouse. Guests have to walk for six minutes over a rocky, uneven footpath in order to reach Dar Megdaz. If you phone us upon your arrival at the village, we will meet you and help you carry your luggage from the parking area to your room.
