  • We had a great stay with Angie, she is an amazing host, friendly and interesting. Archie and Lola are adorable - the kids loved them! Everything was sparkling clean, rooms comfortable and delicious breakfast provided. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again. Thank you Angie!

  • We had a wonderful stay with Angie. The kids adored the animals and she was an amazing host! The breakfast was lovely and Angie accommodated any special requests. The children loved helping with the horses and riding on the mini-tractor. There is so much to see and do in the area, we would love to come back again and we would definitely stay with Angie.

  • 4 of us and 2 dogs had to do a very last minute trip up to Aylsham and found Angie's place at a very late stage in the day, but that wasn't a problem and Angie was more than accomodating. She's a great host and loves her house and animals very much. Everything was spotless and the house is really well laid out. And it's so quiet when you're in bed. We had a delicious breakfast cooked for us in the morning and got to meet Lola the parrot. Can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely stay there again.

  • My friend and I stayed in Angie:s lovely home for just a night but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Angie is very welcoming and a great host allowing us free range of her home. The added bonus was her Parrot 'Lola' and dog Archie who both contributed to the welcome and the homely atmosphere. We will definitely go back when we can stay longer and I would recommend Angie's to all.

  • The Lodge is a beautiful home, with lovely large rooms for guest accommodation. Angie the host is so friendly, rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with tea/coffee making facilities in each room plus the option to make a hot drink in the kitchen. Angie has a pet bird Lola who is an absolute character and very friendly as is Archie the cheeky Labrador!

  • A lovely place to stay with good amenities and Sally is very helpful

    Robert2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A great space to spend quality time in. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sally’s place ; lovely clean rooms with all the amenities you could wish for. The little treats from the host were also a very nice surprise. Sally’s is in a lovely quiet location and within short driving distance of shops and pubs. The only downside was that the nearest walkable pub had closed down. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Handmade in 2014, our wooden Shepherd’s Hut is parked on a beautiful meadow on North Farm, near Aylsham in the heart of Norfolk. With built in double bed, woodstove and fire-pit it is camping at its most luxurious.
Mounted on cast-iron wheels from the local foundry, the hut is made from wood and insulated with lambs wool. Inside, it has a 4’6”double bed, chairs and small table and a wood-burning stove. The stove can be used to boil a kettle or warm a basic meal and on colder nights, makes it extremely cosy. The stove can be used to boil a kettle or warm a basic meal and on colder nights, the hut is extremely cosy. We recommend that you treat your stay in the Shepherds Hut as if you are enjoying extremely luxurious camping or ‘glamping’! During the colder months, the woodstove keeps the hut extremely cosy but it is still a short walk to the toilet block or back from your car after an evening in a local hostelry! The hut can be rented alongside Barn Owl and Kingfisher Cottages which are eco-friendly, barn conversions on the same farm. Alternatively, the hut can be complemented by one or two additional tents (bring your own tents) at a cost of £10 per night per person .
The hut is located on the beautiful North Farm which is also home to a number of resident artists, including a stone-carver and potter. North Farm is situated in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Guests can spot all sorts of wildlife during the day and stargaze at night, with no streetlights to spoil the view.
  • A wonderful tranquil place to stay. Everything we needed, clean and comfortable. We hope to go back next year.

    Julia2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Not the first time I have stayed here and as always a beautiful, relaxing place with outstanding hosts. A secluded meadow where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of an evening watching the barn owls and bats and in our case thunderstorms. We are already planning when we can return.

    Helen2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so beautiful! The touches and location is just perfect. We already thought about coming again in the winter! Certainly the best place I’ve visited on air bnb so far!

Set off the beaten track in a beautiful, peaceful rural location, the farmhouse is characterful, comfortable and cosy. Sleeps up to 6 (3 bedrooms). With lovely vistas across big open fields and the huge Norfolk sky, you can truly relax here - surrounded by nature. Close by are wonderful walks in lush countryside and on long empty beaches. Ideal for couples, families and groups of friends looking for a great base from which to explore the delights of Norfolk.
The 18th century farmhouse has been adapted to provide a really comfortable and welcoming place for your short break/holiday. For two decades a much loved family home, the house is set in a pretty garden and has lots of original features like beams, fireplaces, pamment and brick floors. It has a lived-in feel while remaining uncluttered. The beds are very comfortable with mattress toppers and pure cotton sheets. There’s a powerful shower and a wider than average bath if you fancy a long soak. The kitchen/diner has a round table, basic cooking facilities and a coffee machine. The cosy sitting room, with lots of books and pictures, is the ideal place to relax with two comfy sofas, widescreen TV with YouView and Netflix, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, and lovely wood burning stove. The location of the farmhouse is quiet and secluded, with views over open countryside, so there is a great sense of space. However, a 20 minute drive will bring you to the beautiful city of Norwich, if you fancy shopping, culture and history, the Norfolk Broads if you’re after a boat trip and the stunning North Norfolk coast, which has a path all the way along it, so you can walk for miles, go birdwatching or visit a seal sanctuary. There are lots of opportunities therefore for exploring Norfolk. However, if there’s a gale blowing and the rain is lashing down, you can curl up on the sofa with a good book in front of the fire or watch a film and retreat from the world! We have off-road parking for up to three cars. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walks and bike rides. There is also a 14’ trampoline with safety net, table tennis, charcoal barbecue, outside seating and table for al fresco meals. Please note: 3 night minimum booking. Friday & Saturday nights discounted to £110 per night. All July & August: 7 night stays only (20% discount applies)
The house is set in a small hamlet of farmhouses and surrounded by open countryside. A good distance from main roads, so beautifully quiet, but sounds of nature all around.. There is a duck pond opposite presided over by two geese (whose bark is worse than their bite!), so a real rural feel! A car is necessary but this is also a fine base for cyclists. Full range of usual shops in nearby North Walsham (Lidl’s, Sainsbury’s & Waitrose) + Thursday morning market & Aylsham (Tesco & Co-Op) + Monday morning auction market. The beautiful Norfolk Broads, lovely unspoilt coast and the fabulous city of Norwich are all about 20 minutes' drive away.
  • A really nice, remote house. Equipment all ok for a short stay. Play garden great for kids. Good value.

  • Lovely old cottage. We had a great stay. The weather was really nice allowing us to use the outside space and facilities, ping pong, garden and BBQ area. In the evenings we made use of the wood burner which warmed the place up really well. There are also games available which we also made use of, Banana grams. The house is well positioned to visit the local area, all in all a great place.

    Mike2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house it a beautiful setting. Really enjoyed our stay!!

Spacious converted stables in the Norfolk countryside, with cosy living area, two bedrooms (one with an en-suite) and safe enclosed garden. Ideal for a couple or a family.
There is a large open-plan living room with a lounge area and kitchen diner. This has exposed beams and a wood burning stove and pulls off the trick of remaining cool on hot days, but is warm and cosy when the weather is on the cool side. The kitchen is equipped with oven (grill), hob, washing machine, dishwasher and seating for four people. There’s a toaster, kettle and a good range of crockery  and utensils. The fridge has an icebox for drinks on those hot days. In the lounge area there’s a woodburning stove, a range of board games and books and a smart television & DVD. There is wifi, and a Bluetooth speaker for playing music from phones, tablets etc. The property has oil fired central heating. Whilst the Old Stables has no specific adaptations for disability, it is all on one level and there is step-free access to the shower.
The Old Stables is set in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside, midway between the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham. It is located on a quiet lane and looks out onto fields and trees and is regularly visited by deer, owls and bats. Only  20 minutes away there is the Norfolk coast with its beautiful beaches, family-friendly resorts and spectacular wildlife. The magical waterland of the Norfolk Broads is also close by, and the lively city of Norwich is only  30 minutes’ drive away. There are several pleasant market towns close by, as are the beautiful National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg. Closer to home, the immediate area is full of quiet lanes which lend themselves to cycling and walking, and we are very close to the Weavers Way long distance footpath. The cottage was converted from a former stable, retains many original features and has a safe, enclosed garden. Although Norfolk is one of the driest places in Britain, the cottage is well-equipped for those times when the weather is less than ideal.  We also have dark skies ideal for stargazing.
  • Nice quiet retreat out in the sticks but close enough to local attractions and beaches. You’ll need a car to get about. Would definitely recommend.

  • From the beginning to end of our short break, Tony was an amazing host. We arrived to find extra touches that we didnt expect, in a beautiful, clean and very well designed conversion. The rooms were perfect sizes, simple but stylish and everything a family could need was there. Nothing was too much trouble for Tony, who was more than helpful with suggestions of local places to visit and eat. The property itself is located perfectly for exploring north east Norfolk, and even in the local vicinity we found a beautiful walk. We would definitely return.

    Jo2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Tony and Megan's place is fantastic. Much bigger than we expected - spacious rooms and a layout that meant we could put our baby to bed and not worry about disturbing him. It also has a lovely private garden to relax and eat in if the weather is good. Tony and Megan are very hospitable and friendly and have some great tips for local things to see and do. The location is excellent for exploring local coastline and country walks with a dog. We were very lucky to find this place!

The Woodlands is a self contained annexe of our converted Coach House . Although in a secluded spot it is convenient for the Norfolk coast , The Broads and the fine City of Norwich. We run a smallholding and you can see our lovely hens, sheep and alpaca! Get out to the beautiful Norfolk countryside or simply sit snuggly by the warmth of your fire
Now is the time to come to Norfolk; romantic walks on quiet beaches, beautiful crisp days and cosy pubs with a roaring log fire . Book now for a quiet spring break or plan for the summer and get away from it all - to quote a recent guest - 'the quietest place we've ever slept!'
  • A lovely, cosy place located in a secluded spot, which is a great base for exploring Norfolk. We really enjoyed our stay, and Michael and Dorothy were great hosts. We especially liked the welcoming touches of fresh daffodils, homemade cake, and doggy treats. Would highly recommend.

    Edward2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Dorothy’s place is beautiful. It’s set in very peaceful surroundings and the space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Michael gave us a very warm welcome and gave some good tips for the local area. We would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

    Alice2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful venue for a short break. Michael and Dorothy are wonderful hosts mad made us (and our Labrador most welcome). They offered timely feedback to information requests and a warm welcome. I'd highly recommend this venue.

    Richard2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Michael and Dorothy for making us welcome. Secluded luxury is a very accurate description - we were welcomed into a warm, cosy cottage - log burner alight - (gas fired but realistic and hot) and it was especially lovely to find a cottage decorated for Christmas with the further treat of home made mince pies. The kitchen is very well equipped - pretty crockery and choice of herbal teas in addition to the usual tea and coffee - and REAL coffee plus home made jam to accompany breakfast croissants. The bedroom is luxurious with good pillows and bed linen, and for each of us a little pack of festively decorated chocolates. Outside all is very pretty and rural. Our dog could enjoy a morning walk in the woods and we were greeted by curious sheep and friendly alpacas. If we find ourselves seeking accommodation in that part of Norfolk in the future we would certainly choose The Woodlands.

    Tony2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • One of our favourite AirBandBs for sure. A Fabulous home with an ideal attached accomodation, set in acres of land and a walk in a private wood from the doorstep. We loved the Alpacas, very cute. Lots of thoughtful touches Inc hen laid eggs. Fabulous quality throughout and lovely hosts. Perfect location for exploring and yet also remote enough to feel like a proper get away from it all. Thoroughly recommended.

  • A wonderful hideaway for a break away from everything

    Emma2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Other reviews say the pictures don’t do it justice and I agree. A lovely little home away from home, beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, with lovely little touches. Secluded, peaceful getaway, was just what we wanted, would stay again if we were in the area. And the local tips, including the overview of the area at check-in, we’re really appreciated 😊

    Laura2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • The woodlands is an awesome apartment within Michael and Dorothy's plot. We were greeted by Michael. he showed us around and gave us a run through some suggestions for dinner. The apartment itself is well kitted out. We were given some croissants and granola for breakfasts, but also bought a jar of home grown raspberry jam from Dorothy. We nearly finished the jar before we left! There's a hob but no oven in the kitchen but the microwave has a convection cooker so we were able to cook a couple pizzas in there. The decor is really homey. After long days out exploring the coastline we loved coming back, and snoozing on the sofa in front of the TV. We had no phone signal, and it's a rural internet connection for the wifi so it's a perfect getaway if you're looking to switch off. The woods on the property are perfect for letting your dog have a run around. Archie our spinone had a blast. All in all a great stay.

The Gables Cottage is a lovely place to have a little break and explore Norfolk’s beautiful countryside. It’s location is very convenient being quite close to Norwich, broads and the stunning seaside. It’s got one bedroom, a wet room, kitchen and sitting room with a sofa bed. You could enjoy its cosy front garden or have breakfast on the patio at the back of the property. It’s got a modern tv and a selection of DVDs. There is also a parking space outside of the property which is signposted.
The cottage located in the village called lamas, which has got a lovely church (well worth seeing, stands right on the river Bure). It’s 8 minutes to Coltushall which is on the broads, about 10 min to aylsham and 15 min to North Walsham or Wroxham. Not far from Cromer (around 25 min) and quite close to Norwich especially of you use the new ring road.
  • We had a great time at the cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Just a short drive to the coast or broads. Although the street is quite busy this didn’t trouble us at all

  • This cottage is pretty small but very well designed, cosy and stylish. However, the living room is nice and airy/ spacious and kitchen perfect for four. The descriptions and photos of the place are accurate. Bedrooms very small, but that's in the write up, so expected. We loved the underfloor heating.

  • We don’t really want to tell anyone else about this. We want to keep it our special place lol... but I know these lovely people need other people to stay as well so all I will say is it’s the best place we have stayed.

  • We stayed in The Barn Owl for a Christmas break with friends and so enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. The cottage was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to have a lovely stay. The attention to detail was great, even a log burner for those winter evenings. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Norfolk.

  • Such a lovely place to stay. Couldn't fault it for cleanliness and comfort. The thoughtful touches were also great for instance, staying with children of any age was catered for from bath toys for little ones right up to a games room which my teenage boys loved. Will defiantly be returning.

    Danielle2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great, clean place to spend some time in Norfolk. About 30 mins from great beaches and 5 mins drive from a lovely town.

    Kate2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful, warm and cosy place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation, peaceful and plenty of space. Very tastefully decorated with all the utensils you'd ever need. More than enough beautifully made crockery and a clean and modern dishwasher and washer/dryer, alongside other kitchen gadgets. Very comfortable furniture, from beds to sofas. There is even the cottage's own outbuilding with freezer and numerous garden toys for little ones. My children absolutely loved the games room with billiards and table tennis. We really couldn't have asked for more and definitely intend to return.

  • Gill and Flick y were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. A lovely part of rural Norfolk

  • Felicity has clearly corresponded with us prior to our stay and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. At the farm Gill was always to hand if you had any questions. The Eco cottage (barn owl) is absolutely perfect. It's cosy and warm, the beds are amazingly comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. It's immaculately clean too. We loved our local and homemade freebies in the fridge! The children (2 1/2 and 5) really enjoyed their time here, especially the bath toys and the guess who!!! :) Thank you so much for a wonderful short break.

  • This is the most incredible place to stay. The barn is clean, beautiful and really homely, and our welcome was fabulous. We loved it. The only (very) slight issue we had was that the WiFi wasn’t up to much and the mobile phone reception wasn’t good either. So, Boho wouldn’t be ideal for a work trip, but for anything else, it is perfect.

  • A really wonderful break in a very special place. The Gallery is well equipped with everything a large party of guests could need. It is a beautiful house, extremely thoughtfully decorated and furnished, with an amazing responsive and helpful host in Victoria. It is spotlessly clean with lovely linens and towels. We would love to visit again in the summer to make use of the outside space with enclosed garden and pretty veranda. A brilliant place to stay!

  • Staying at The Gallery over New Year was fantastic. Faultless communications beforehand and the arrival is a treat which I won't spoil by describing here. The space has a genuine Wow! factor and this extends to every corner of the property. In addition, there are some fairly major Wows! outside, too. We were a group of four adults and four teenagers and the space was more than adequate. A well equipped kitchen, a long & spacious dining table and come warmer weather, a beautiful outside space to eat too. Victoria & Roy were very generous with their welcome and their time too, allowing us feel extremely relaxed & at home in their wonderful Gallery.

  • Beautiful place, everything was as described and Victoria went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable with high chair and travel cot for the baby, prosecco for the grown ups and even a Christmas tree! The bedrooms are beautiful and all ensuite, the kitchen is really well equipped (we easily managed to cook christmas dinner for 11) and the living room is just lovely. Thank you Victoria for a great stay - highly recommended.

As featured in Norfolk Magazine 1/03/2017 *Fayes Fabulous Farmhouse* The Norfolk Farmhouse is a large detached Georgian Farmhouse which dates back to the 1800's and was originally part of The Gunton Estate. It is perfectly located for exploring the North Norfolk Coast with plenty of coastal resorts within easy reach. This beautifully presented Farmhouse provides perfect holiday accommodation. Ask about our beauty treatments and our private chef available for your stay.
The house boasts large, high ceilinged rooms, perfect for groups such as family holidays, wedding parties, family gatherings and special occasions. The two reception rooms both have wood burners and comfy sofas. There's also a wood-burner in the formal dining room. If you are bringing children...there is a toy cupboard full of toys, board games, books, dvd's and Xbox for little kids and big kids too. You'll find a full size ping pong table in the conservatory and other outdoor games to play in the huge, walled, private garden. The large conservatory is a great space and past guests have turned it into a disco! Another group used it as a yoga room. There's a slide and swings in one part of the garden, with enough room for a game of rounders or even football. The large decking has comfy outdoor sofas and chair and a table. It's also a great bbq space. The kitchen has a large granite island with stools and a large booth with a table. There is an electric Aga with a two ring hob. There are French doors from the kitchen leading onto the large decking and the garden. All the bedrooms are very spacious and will take a fold up bed or camp bed if you wish to bring for the odd extra guest. I don't provide extra beds though. The bedrooms have mainly king size beds apart from the twin room, one double and the master bedroom which has a Super King size bed. All have top of the range Hypnos mattresses and are beautifully decorated. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and a downstairs loo which is ideal for any guests that may struggle with stairs. Music can be played from Sonos in most downstairs rooms in the house and controlled from the computer or your phone. There is parking for up to 7 cars on the drive at the front of the house. The nearest pub is The Gunton Arms, located on a 1000 acre deer park, 2 miles away which serves excellent food. The popular market towns of North Walsham, 2 miles, and Aylsham, 4 miles, offer shops and supermarkets, (Waitrose, is 2 miles away. We also have Sainburys and Lidl in North Walsham and Tesco in Aylsham). We are close to the beautiful North Norfolk beaches. The seaside resort of Cromer is a ten minute drive and Mundesley, 7 miles away, has a wide sandy beach. There are excellent walking and cycle routes available from the doorstep, whilst a footpath beside the church leads to Bryant’s Heath, a popular local beauty spot and a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Wroxham, capital of the Broads, is 13 miles, with its daily boat hire, river trips and riverside shops and cafés, or visit the Georgian market town of Holt. Please note there is a minimum of a 4 night stay for the Christmas and New Year period. Christmas 22-27 December and New Year, 28 December - 2nd January. I always leave a welcome pack for guests so you can have a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of wine when you arrive. We don't take pets so the property is pet-hair free for allergy sufferers. The Norfolk Farmhouse is a perfect venue for retreats and we host our own throughout the year. Our all inclusive retreats include classes, vegetarian home cooked meals, hot tub and in house therapy treatments. Prices start at £500pp. Yoga and wellness is one of the many retreats we host at The Norfolk Farmhouse. Contact me for more info.
We are in a quiet rural spot. I would ask guests to respect our neighbours and have a cut off time of midnight for any music and outdoor noise.
  • A fantastic house perfect for a large group. We had an amazing time welcoming the New Year along with a cohort of children. In many ways, the house was even better for this with a variety of spaces, both for living and eating, interconnected around the warm kitchen hub. So even with all the children it never felt chaotic, but offered much-needed relaxation and fun!

  • My friends and I stayed at Faye's beautiful house for the weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had a great time! The photos don't do the house justice, it is amazing! (We especially loved the hot tub!) Check in was so simpleand Faye allowed us to arrive early which was great. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again!

  • Such an elegant house, very beautiful and fantastic spaces

    Mark2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We celebrated my 30'th birthday in Faye's place and I couldn't be any happier with the choice we've made. It seems impossible but the house is even more beautiful in real life than in pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped and the rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated! The house comes with a huge garden and was perfect for our planned outdoor activities. We had some trouble finding the house at first because our navigation sent us to a different place but typing in the nearest street name helped us find the house. Faye was very easy to get hold of when we needed anything. We would most certainly stay in that gorgeous place again and even considered spending one Christmas there- absolute dream family home!!

    Kristel2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is beautifully decorated & so comfortable. We were a big group & there was plenty of space & all the bedrooms were very spacious. The house was spotless & Faye couldn’t have been more helpful in the run up answering all my questions immediately. The downstairs is great with lots of places to eat, chat & relax. The hot tub, decking area & walled garden were real highlights. I would highly recommend this lovely house.

  • Faye has very obviously put her heart and soul into the interior design of The Farmhouse. It’s exceptionally stylish and very comfortable. I particularly liked the stunning photograph of Faye displayed on the wall upstairs - excellent photo. The children loved the garden. We have had a brilliant holiday. We all enjoyed ourselves so much that we are already planning to stay with Faye again next summer. Thank you Faye for a fantastic holiday. Thank you very much for your hosting.

Its’ rural location means peace and quiet and a great place to relax and unwind with plenty of wildlife about to spot. Just a twenty minute drive from the best golden sandy beaches in the country. North Norfolk has the highest number of blue flagged beaches compared to the rest of the districts in the country. Here is a list of my favourites beaches: Sherringham – A Victorian seaside town, walk along the pebbles, the groynes make the beach a safe place for families with clean, calm water for paddling and playing. Cromer – With beautiful sunsets and a majestic pier jutting out to sea, Cromer is magnificient beach to spend the day. Have a go at surfing, crabbing off the pier or try some snorkelling at the chalf reef (the longest in Europe). West and East Runcton – Deep in history, these beaches are great for fossil hunting and rock pooling. Head there at low tide where a beautiful sandy beach will be revealed. Mundeley – A traditional seaside resort with flat sands and clear waters, backed by cliffs and a row of pretty beach huts, ideal for swimming and playing. Sea Palling – Family beach which doesn’t get too over crowded, safe for paddling children and the soft golden sand enable lots of beach fun. Wells – Wonderful Wells, my favourite beach of all, with pretty beach huts, long golden sandy beaches & a pinewood to walk through. If your enough lucky you may find the rope swing (a favourite of my kids). I love eating fish and chips on the harbour and watching the boats go by or just sitting on the park while the kids run around and play on the pirate ship. • Lovely bell tent. Basic bits and bobs there that you need. Very pretty and makes for some lovely photos. We especially loved lighting the fire pit in the evenings for some toasted marshmallows. Great location and the pib and little plat area are a super bonus.

    Robyne2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Really great mix of comfort and camping. You can cook near the tent and enjoy the fire pit or eat in the pub. Loved the outside furniture, twinkly lights and spacious comfort of the bell tent. It was relaxing and therapeutic waking up under canvas and hearing the birds, cows and wildlife. Tents are not too close together and there are not too many of them so you don't feel hemmed in. Great location, close to Norwich and the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed it - much more than I thought I would - and looking forward to going again.

I have lovingly restored & renovated this beautiful Victorian house into a quirky stylish home. I’ve made good use of every space & it’s easy to use. I love cooking & so the kitchen was the starting point & I hope for those keen cooks there is everything you will need while you stay. For those of you with children then there is a children’s desk, blackboard wall for chalking, a high chair, cot, Stoke buggy, a small trampoline, parks within walking distance & an indoor play centre (Stompers) just a minute or two by car or a 10 minute walk away. The wet room is like being in a rainforest & the bath tub deep & a treat when all the candles are lit..... The beds are comfortable with good mattresses & 100% cotton bedding. I’m a creature of comfort so my home is a reflection......
North Walsham was once a very grand market town with a huge church. It has excellent transport links with a bus stop at the end of my road (literally 20 steps from my front door!), & the train station is a two minute walk away. Food shopping.... we have a Waitrose, Sainsbury’s & Lidl. There is a fabulous restaurant/cafe called Shambles serving great vegan vegetarian fish & meat options with a licensed bar as well as great tea, coffee & cake! There are lots of charity shops, a good local store selling everything, library, post office, garage, swimming pool....... There are a few pubs & the infamous The Gunton Arms a 5 minute drive away set in a deer park. It has a great atmosphere & art collection. If you want to eat there then you need to book well in advance. Blickling Hall is a 15/20minute drive away & Felbrigg Hall not much further. Delightful walks & tearooms. The beach is a 10 minute drive away. There are many beautiful beaches to be found along the coast. Norwich is a great city with Cathedral & Castle. The Sainsburys Centre always showing interesting collections of art & sculpture. A bustling city centre for shopping & lots to do.
  • This is a comfortable and stylish home close to the centre of North Walsham. It’s easy to get around the town without a car from this house. The space is flexible and great for families with helpful touches such as a trampoline in a safe, enclosed garden, and a high chair in the dining room. The host is very quick to reply to any messages and extremely helpful.

  • Amazing house, really comfortable beds although the single bed in the third bedroom is only suited to a small adult but that made no difference to the weekend.

  • This home is very stylish and very clean. It’s in a great location with a Lidl round the corner as well as a beach and forest nearby to explore. Sarah is very friendly and easy to contact. She even answered my questions before we had even arrived! We found this accommodation catered well for our 6 month old baby as there was cot available and books for us to read with her. We would highly recommend this accommodation and will probably be back in the future.

  • Sarah has a lovely home, which whilst the place was exactly as we expected, the pictures do not really do it justice. We felt immediately at home, aided by the chocolates and bottle of wine that was there to greet us. Great location for exploring this part of the Norfolk coastline.

  • A great experience from start to finish! Sarah is a very sweet and most attentive host who takes a personal interest in the comforts of her guests. We give Sarah the highest compliments for her commitment to her guests and highly recommend her home to anyone visiting North Norfolk.

  • What an incredible place. Super stylish and exquisitely decorated with attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to hosting. Victoria had left us a hamper with all the essentials and some extras! Even though you’re in the middle of the countryside in what feels like a traditional building you have very modern conveniences without spoiling the vibe of the barn. It’s so well insulated and warm, amazing showers and hot water and modern appliances. We had different guests staying with us during our stay and Victoria kindly provided extra bedding. It was the perfect place to host our colleagues and business associates. We’d definitely come back!

Glamping at The Goat Inn Skeyton is a small village, with a shop, a bus stop and of course the pub with a large beer garden and a play area for the kids. Our site is pitched far enough away that you can’t see or hear the pub, but close enough for you and your family to go to. Places of interest & activities to do: Holkham Country Park Pensthorpe Nature Reserve Bewilderwood Blickling Hall Norfolk Broads Banham Zoo Roarr Dinosaur Park Wroxham Barns Blakeney Seal Trips Bure Valley Railway Wroxham Barns
