The location is in a very quiet area with no through traffic. The immediate surroundings are flat and close to many good areas for walks around the historical Swansea docks or the marina, beach front and town shopping areas. The accom and facilities are not shared and for the sole use of guests which include private shower room/toilet, food prep and storage area and parking. Room has private facilities such as 32 ins t.v super fast broadband, desk which makes it a perfect low cost private stay for business people and travellers alike.
New marina development, immaculately clean with pleasant and quiet surrounding area. Other residents are either working professionals or retired. The area offers a peaceful quiet stay for travellers, visitors, holiday makers, business people, students or contractors wanting to sample the Swansea scenery, attractions and nightlife who are looking for a comfortable quiet relaxing base.
  • Great location, clean and some nice touches (tea, coffee & biscuits!) The utility area next to the bedroom serves as a mini kitchen with a microwave, fridge toaster and kettle and has plates and cutlery. Great for preparing breakfast and re-heating already prepared food.

    Private parking on the property available to the rear of the house. Easy check in and check out at any time from the lockbox. You'll have full access to all communal areas like the kitchen, dining room and living room. Make yourself comfortable on the sofa and catch up on all your TV programs and movies.
    The house is very centrally located with many attractions conveniently nearby, some of which are Swansea’s beautiful beach, Swansea city centre, the Leisure Centre and two museums, the train station, Liberty stadium and Singleton and Bay campuses. The Mumbles and Gower are also not too far. The Village Hotel which has a bar and gym, Beefeater restaurant and Tesco express are all within walking distance.   • Everything was outstanding. It was perfect for a quick get away. Everything was spotless and we had the whole downstairs to ourselves which was really nice. There is also a map with stickers for people to show where they’ve come from all over the world which I thought was a really nice touch! However, me and my partner both forgot toothpaste so my suggestion would be to supply toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner etc. for forgetful people like us!!

Also, modern day essentials TV & WiFi make this apartment a perfect retreat following a busy day & convenient for business trips.
    The place you're staying is within a short walk to all the bars and restaurants on Wind Street. Wind Street is the go to place for a night out in Swansea. No need to use the car or a taxi. It's also close to the shops and one of the coolest cinema's in the country. Cinema & Co is just across the road and they make the best coffee!
  • Great place next to everything, spacious and clean. The only thing is that it needs a bit more equipment: glasses, a decent frying pan, a colander. When you stay for several days and have this great kitchen you want to be able to cook. Especially since there’s this wonderful indoor market just 5 minutes from the flat.

The property itself was bigger, brighter and quieter than expected and had all the amenities you could need. The location was also 10/10 (within walking distance of the city centre with access to public transport/parking facilities etc nearby). Highly recommend staying here and would most definitely return!

  • All my needs were met at Nicola's place. I required something very last-minute, and was checking in within an hour of completing my booking with no problems. The room was clean, spacious, and had ample storage. TV and WiFi worked great, and the toilet areas were kept to a clean standard. Those staying in other rooms can be a bit rude and disrespectful, with their noise easily travelling through the house late at night, but we can't choose our neighbours unfortunately! Overall a great value, comfortable stay near the sea.

We aim to maintain the 5 star standard that we have on the property. If you are looking for something much larger please look at the beach house , which is located on the 2 floors above , with a separate entrance.
    A very quiet neighbourhood with no through access unless visiting the complex. Particularly more enjoyable for a quiet stay.

    This is a wonderful Home from Home. Stylish and cosy, great location, being close to the centre of Swansea, the Marina and beach. The apartment is on the 12th floor giving amazing views from the lounge. Don't worry though there are 2 lifts/elevators!
    If you're staying on a budget, the kitchen is fully equiped with everything required for home cooking. If you're on holiday and have no intention of cooking, there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways in Swansea. There is a restaurant opposite the entrance and one on the top floor of the tower with amazing panoramic views! The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, with full length glass-door wardrobe and chest of drawers. The spacious lounge has comfortable sofas (including a double sofa-bed), flat-screen TV with Sky, Freeview and Netflix, and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing-machine and is well stocked with cooking essentials. The Bathroom has a bath with shower over-the-bath. The apartment is convenient for the City Centre, Grand Theatre, University campuses, Swansea College of Art, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Singleton Hospital, Liberty Stadium, marina and beaches. The local restaurants include the Grape & Olive with panoramic views, the Pescador and many others in the Marina. The City Centre is a 10-minute walk.     The apartment is nicely situated between the Marina (outside the tower) and the beach (one minute away). In the marina there are plenty of restaurants and bars.     Lovely double bedroom in a clean, friendly house close to the city centre. Access to shared bathroom, kitchen, living area and garden. Lockable doors in the bedroom and bathroom for your privacy. Pet friendly :) Only 10 mins from J47 of M4 and a short walk to main bus route that gets you into the city centre/bus/train stations. Easy access to the Gower, beaches, universities and all that Swansea has to offer.
    Cosy double bedroom with a next door bathroom. I have a kitchen big enough to cook in and plenty of spices etc that you’re welcome to use. Help yourself to tea, coffee and condiments!
    There is a pub a few mins walk from my house that is family friendly and has a beer garden that allows dogs. There are several shops and cash points within a few mins walk from the house. The area is friendly so feel free to ask if you are lost or need help!

Vicki is incredibly friendly and hospitable and was available to answer any questions I had about check in or the local area. The bed and room were warm and it was very much a home away from home. I would recommend to any traveller in the Swansea area.

  • Nigel’s communication on booking and when we were en route to Swansea was excellent: prompt and comprehensive. We were in Swansea for our son’s birthday, an occasion that Nigel was kind enough to mark with a bottle of wine. The apartment itself was easy to reach from the road through the city centre and there is free car parking a five-minute walk away. The accommodation – bedroom, bathroom & kitchenette – was warm, very fresh & spotlessly clean. Although it is only a short distance from the city centre, the location itself is quiet and I slept better than I often do when away from home. There are a number of places to eat around the marina basin – we had a nice meal in a Chinese restaurant only a 5-10 minute walk away. This apartment would well suit a couple on a weekend break in the city.

  • We were in Swansea for a wedding ceremony at the National Waterfront Museum. The apartment’s location was ideal. It was only a 5 min’s walk over to the museum so we could easily walk back to the apartment to have a nap between the ceremony and the party. It was good that we could use two separate rooms. I had a bit of a cold and wouldn’t disturb my wife by coughing (or snoring…). One of the double beds’ mattrasses was a bit harder than the other, but both were really comfortable nonetheless. From the combined kitchen/living room space you had a fantastic view over the marina to the city of Swansea. I can imagine that sitting on the balcony in summer and going to the nearby beach are additional perks that this apartment offers. We stayed in January (with 50 mph gusts an rain), therefore we forwent these pleasures. The apartment is modern yet cosy. One feature is the extraordinary ceiling height of one of the bedrooms and the living room; this is due to the shape of the roof of the building, which ascends toward this side. On this side the distance to the neighbouring buildings is not that large, and the shutters don’t cover the entire height of the window. Therefore if you have privacy concerns it is probably better to use the bedroom that faces the city, with no immediate neighbours. There were two bathrooms, one of them with a shower cabin, and they are modern, clean, well-maintained (it means something when a German says so!) yet also cosy at the same time. Accessing the apartment using the keylock and the dialpad downstairs was easy. Also disposing of the waste downstairs wasn’t a problem. While we arrived by train, we needed to leave by rental car, and it was good that the apartment has its own parking bay just across the building entrance. Communication with Gerry was always uncomplicated, and he gave us the infomation that we needed just ahead of time, but not too much at once. This was an overall pleasant stay, despite the weather and my cold, and I can imagine returning in summer to stay a few more days in this apartment. There is so much more to explore in and around Swansea, and the apartment is an ideal base for it.

Compact kitchen but all you need including a big fridge freezer. Lovely sitting room with views over the marina. Car park space just outside. Really can’t recommend the apartment high enough. Marina is a bit quieter than I’d have thought but still good pubs and eating places. If you fancy a stay in Swansea I’d recommend Gerry’s apartment.

    This is an option for two people preferring twin beds. The double room at the front with a fab view of the City and the gorgeous Bay beyond will become your sitting room. The private loo is within your room behind doors concealing it and beneath a low beam, please note. There are two other loos in the house that you can use on a respectful basis. Please enjoy our lovely sitting room and small south-facing garden at the front. Occasional use of the kitchen is possible by prior arrangement.
    Its an attractive Victorian house in a colourful street. You have the top floor to your selves. The rear garden isn't shared (except when joining us, for example, for your welcome cuppa!!), or, unless required for an event that you'd like to arrange or if you'd like to harvest any fruit for yourselves to eat. Please enjoy the shared living room which provides access to the front garden overlooking the street (it has a sliver of a sea view... your front attic is the place to enjoy the view) and you can use this modest garden space exclusively if you would like to sit outside on your own - or to be joined by our lovely cats. If you have an allergy to cats this is absolutely no problem as we can prevent their access to any and all areas you would be using. This has operated successfully in the past. We are also a gluten-free household. We welcome vegans and vegetarians too.

And there is actually a TV in the room. As there is no desk in the room, it could be slightly inconvenient as I was on a business trip, but the bed was very comfortable with the cushions, so I just worked in bed :) The kitchen and bathroom are clean, but there is no shower head in the bathroom on the ground floor. Hasan was very kind to greet me and helped me with parking.

    Mid century town house with stunning views over the city of Swansea. The house is clean, bright and airy in a split level design with off road parking for one car. Electric hook up for EV's too!
    Built in the late 1960's to a unique design the house is laid out over 3 floors; the guest bedroom is situated on the lower ground floor with the bathroom up a few steps closeby; then up a flight to the large lofty kitchen where your buffet style breakfast is served. If the weather is nice guests love to take their breakfast Al fresco on the roof terrace which looks out across the Bristol Channel to the Somerset and north Devon coast, otherwise the views can still be enjoyed whatever the weather from the lounge diner below.
    The house is part of a unique block of three houses built in the late 1960s on a hillside plot overlooking Swansea Bay and the Bristol Channel. The views across to the Mumbles, home to Catherine Zeta Jones, and Swansea City are undeniably breathtaking I'm sure you will want to take plenty of pictures! Situated in a residential area on a back street it's nice and quiet, the house stands at the top of Swansea's famous cobbled Constitution Hill on the route of cyclings Tour of Britain 2010. A 15 minute walk down into the City and you can browse Wales's largest indoor market, or sample some great restaurants shopping in the Quadrant Centre or make your way to visit the Swansea Marina. With plenty of bars to choose from the city nightlife is lively and centred around Wind Street (pronounced as in wined and dined rather than wind and rain). For a more relaxing evening the Uplands Area, birthplace to Swansea's most famous son Dylan Thomas, offers a good choice of pubs, bars and restaurants and is only a ten minute walk away.

    Lovely, light and airy room on the second floor of our Victorian town house. The price shown is for the room with either one or two guests. Breakfast is not included but there are several breakfast cafes within 2 minutes walk plus grocery shops, restaurants and takeaways.     Huge double bedroom with en-suite We have a very attractive, light and airy bedroom in the attic of our Victorian House in Swansea, Wales. The room has lots of character, with wooden floors and exposed beams. It is a self-contained floor. Guests enter through the front door and go straight up the stairs to the room, which gives a considerable degree of privacy, peace and comfort. The room is for one or two adults only and we have no facilities for babies or children. The room has a kingsize bed, sofa, TV, microwave, kettle, fridge and tea and coffee. There are four, inexpensive breakfast cafes within 2 minutes walk. (Sorry I don't do breakfast) There is an ensuite shower room and excellent Wifi. Bedlinen and towels are provided. Central heating. On road parking if you have a car, or public transport two minutes away if you don't. As this is a city centre location there are some parking restrictions on St. Helens Avenue. There is, however, also plenty of unrestricted parking in our street so you will not have a problem finding a space. Location We are in a great location within walking distance of all Swansea's amenities, including the University. The area is home to many students in term time. It is a young, vibrant and very safe and friendly part of Swansea but don't expect posh or swanky! It is 4 minute walk to the beautiful, sandy beach and 10 minutes to the town centre. It's a 10 minute drive or bus ride to the Gower peninsula and some of the UK's best surfing beaches. It is a 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants: where you can get everything from a full Welsh breakfast to a Chinese, Indian, French or Middle Eastern dinner. There is a really good theatre 10 minutes walk. There is a water sports centre on the beach where you can learn kite surfing and paddle boarding. We are 1 minute from Wales's best ice cream parlour - Joe's - and fish and chips and pizza take aways. We are about 15 minutes walk from Swansea Leisure Centre and the Marina and this is another area where there are plenty of cafes and bars and also the Dylan Thomas Theatre. This is also the site of the National Waterfront Museum.. There is a Boating Lake on the seafront and Crazy Golf. There are cycle paths along the seafront (National Cycle Path 43 on the seafront is a 5 minute walk) and you can hire a bike 2 minutes walk from our front door. We are also on the Wales coastal path, which now goes right around the country. There is also the lovely Singleton Park with it's ornamental gardens. We are 3 miles from the seaside resort of Mumbles - a bus ride away, but it's also possible to walk there, along the sea front. There is a bus stop just round the corner with buses to Gower peninsula, the hospital and the university.
    Young, vibrant, multi-cultural neighbourhood with lots of student accommodation, pubs, restaurants and things to do and see. There are some wonderful Asian shops selling food from all over the world. It is very safe and friendly but not what most people would call smart!

    With fantastic sun rises over Swansea Bay, our stylish and comfortable one bedroom and 1 very comfy sofa apartment gives you that true home from home feeling. It has ample space for 2 to 4 adults and is located in the heart of Uplands with its trendy bars and cafes. Enjoy the added luxuries of underfloor heating, Netflix and Amazon prime, breakfast with sea views and your own patio/decking area. The flat has 1 kingsized bed with an en-suite. In the lounge a comfy sofa bed.
    This fantastic king sized bedroom apartment is situated on the ground floor of a detached Victorian property with uninterrupted views across Swansea bay. The bedroom contains a king sized bed and has French doors with views across the bay and its own patio with fire pit. A travel cot, towel and high chair can be provided if required free of charge. There is an ensuite which includes a freestanding bath as well as a separate shower cubicle. The modern kitchen features underfloor heating, an exposed stone wall and bespoke concrete worktops. Off the kitchen is a storage room, a utility room and also a separate WC. For additional guests we can provide a large comfy sofa bed and towels. We charge an extra £12 per person per night to cover extra sofa bed linen, costs and towels. The open plan living and dining room has wooden flooring and French doors leading out to your own decking area with sea views.
    Uplands is a vibrant Suburb of Swansea with trendy bars, boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. It boasts a local produce market once a month. There are three lovely parks within easy walking distance and the city centre itself is less than a 20 minute walk away, as is Swansea marina. Swansea bay is just a 10 minute stroll away with its glorious stretch of sand and promenade. Also the breathtaking Gower peninsular is just a 30 minute drive down the road. With excellent public transport links and most amenities almost on your doorstep, it is hard to rival a property such as this.

  • The ground floor apartment has picturesque views in the mornings and evenings.. it’s warm enough to weather the welsh cold and has all the things you need for comfort.. the hosts are very friendly so if you need anything, they are quick to respond.. it has a bath tub as well as a shower and the place came with many of the basic supplies that you would need for those planning on staying longer than a week (cleaning supplies, washing machine liquid, tea/coffee/sugar, herbs/spices etc..).. Local restaurants are a few minutes walk away and the city center is about 10 minutes walk away so it is conveniently located... I’d especially recommend it to travellers hoping for a quiet and romantic getaway in wales as everything you need is within a short walk or Internet click’s away...

There is a Tv, Wi Fi, desk and chair , two seater sofa and Trundle bed which sleeps 1-2 people. The property is immaculately clean with airy rooms. The kitchenette has a small fridge, toaster,microwave, kettle and Nespresso machine with tea and coffee.
    My town house is on a small new development in the Prince of Wales docks area. It has 1 parking space and easy access to the M4 from junction 42. The bus and train stations are 10 minutes taxi ride away. It is a quiet area with a flat 20 minute walk to first class bars and restaurants in SA1 which is a vibrant up and coming area. It is within 20 minute walking distance to the city centre,sea front, museums, leisure centre, theatres and bus and train stations.It is halfway between the 2 Swansea universities. A 10 minute drive to the Liberty Stadium for concerts, football and rugby. Ideal location for the Swansea Airshow.

  • Ali's place is amazing! It's super clean, comfortable and cozy. You will have your own bathroom, which is really convenient and comfortable. Ali always replies really fast, and provides everything you may require. The location is also really good. Very close to a Tesco express, and in a really beautiful area to walk around, and close to the Marina, too, if you want to go to a pub or a restaurant. I think, overall, you won't find a better place at this price. It has everything you need and Ali is very respectful of your privacy, and the location is just perfect! If I ever come back, I'll try to book this place first!

  • If you're going to an event in Singleton Park, this place is in the perfect location. Easily walking distance. Just factor in that the walk back is all uphill! The ONLY little niggle was that the TV didn't have the WiFi enabled so we couldn't watch Netflix when we got back. Not a huge deal, a tiny point to note if you're staying in to relax. The host was excellent at replying promptly and we managed to check in a bit earlier to get to our event. Would definitely use again.

    *Bedroom 2* We have a 3 bedroom semi detached house with sea view available. Three double rooms are available, all with sea views and one with balcony as well (Bedroom 3). Transport: Situated close to Train, Coach and Bus stations- all within minutes of walking distance. Amenities: City Centre is just 5 minutes away with many shops, cafes and restaurants. A Tesco extra is just down the road 2/3 minutes away. Swansea Bay and Marina are about 15 minutes walk away.
    We have a garage at the back should you need it as well as off road parking. Sea view from 3 rooms and balcony.
    Town is 5 minutes walk away, with many places for shopping and eating. A Tesco Express Supermarket is down the road. The house is situated between the bus/coach station (Quadrant) and Swansea Train Station- Both less than 10 minutes walk away.

    10 minutes walk to the beach front at Swansea Bay or the Marina. Less than 5 minutes to the City Centre, Theatre or Wind Street. Walking distance or local bus to the stadium available nearby. Many restaurants /pubs and shops within easy reach and a good base to be able to go out to Mumbles or Gower and its beaches.

  • The flat is huge. Location is central at the city centre. You will not regret staying at Michaela & Mark’s flat. Near to everything shopping, food and the grand theatre. The famous Wetherspoon is just 3 minutes walk from the flat. The food is delicious and highly recommended. Check in is a breeze. They’ve given us a clear instruction how to retrieve the Key which is in the safe box just beside the door. If we ever come to Swansea we’ll definitely book Michaela & Mark’s flat again.
