Places to stay in Swansea
You’ll have a bedroom, ensuite shower room and your own private separate kitchenette in our colourful Californian style bungalow. Both rooms lead off the front door which we don’t use so you don’t have to enter the main part of the house unless you wish to. We are in a convenient & quiet location for visiting Mumbles, Gower and Swansea; it’s 5 min walk from beach & coast path, 10 min from shops, cafes & bars of Mumbles & 10 min drive to the Uni. Free Parking next to house.
You’ll be staying in a cosy bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and a private ensuite shower room concealed behind a mirrored door. The chairs and headboard are upholstered in Caroline’s own textile designs and one wall of the room is taken up by fitted wardrobes which you can use to store your luggage and clothes in during your stay. We have recently installed a separate private kitchenette with a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery opposite the bedroom. It’s fully functional but it’s a work in progress as I take the time in between hosting to hand decorate the walls! Both the bedroom and kitchenette are at the front of the house next to the front door. We don’t use the front door and to give you more privacy we keep the inner door to the main house closed. As some guests have commented its like having your own private suite! You’ll have your own set of keys and you don’t need to enter the main house unless you wish to sit in the garden. Our property was built by an architect as his own home in the 1960's. He’d spent some time in California and the design and layout is inspired by a Californian bungalow, the type you see in a David Hockney painting! It is built around an outdoor swimming pool which takes up most of the garden and the south facing verandah gets so hot in the summer sun that we grow our own grapes. You’re welcome to sit in the garden. Please note that the pool is not fenced off so the property is not suitable for very young children. The house has been featured in many publications - as a progressive project during and shortly after it's construction and more recently for it's beautiful setting and unusual and colourful interior. It was also in an article entitled 'Airbnb in Wales: 17 of the most beautiful, quirky and interesting places you can stay' Our hosting experience was published in the Airbnb UK Insight report 2018. We also have another ensuite bedroom in our house on Airbnb which is occasionally available. It’s called ‘Artists studio with en-suite nr beach and village’ This is the link https://www.airbnb.com/h/californiainwales
If you want a few days to relax, walk, eat, drink and leave your car, the beaches, coastal path, castle and village of Mumbles are all close by. We are in a convenient location on a very quiet road road with easy access to the amenities of the area. Turn left out of the front door and it takes 5-10 minutes to walk to Rotherslade Beach which is sandy and pebbly with a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and coffee all day. 5 minutes walk round the corner to the right is Langland Bay which is a larger sandy beach, popular with surfers and paddle boarders. It is renowned for it's beach huts, palm trees and Surfside cafe on the beach. There is also a good restaurant, Langland Brasserie, at the far end which has an outside deck and is great to sit outside on a warm summers evening. If you continue on the coastal path, it'll take you about 40 mins to walk from Langland to Caswell beach where there is another cafe on the beach. If you're lucky you may see some seals on the way! Turn right out of the front door and within 10 minutes you'll be in Mumbles with a good selection of shops, cafes, bars, Oystermouth Castle, and Joes Ice Cream. The closest access to the coastal path is at Rotherslade Beach from where you can walk around the Gower Peninsula, taking in Caswell, Oxwich, Rhossili and Llangennith. If you have less time you can walk the cliff path in the opposite direction and head towards Mumbles, taking in the Lighthouse, pier and lifeboat house on the way. There is a list of restaurants, cafes and bars in your room along with plenty of maps and information on the area and suggestions of where to visit. If you fancy surfing we can recommend the Progress Surf School in LLangennith which provides all the equipment and lessons for groups and individuals. If you are staying to visit Swansea University or Singleton Hospital the walk along the prom will take about 40 mins or 10 mins in the car.
  • We had a fantastic stay! Lovely place, exactly as described. The bedroom was a good size and well presented. The kitchenette had a fridge, kettle and toaster (plus tea bags/coffee etc) and there was ample parking. Everything was very clean and the host was really knowledgeable about the local area, giving us plenty of tips. All in all a 5 star experience.

  • Caroline and Brian's place is so lovely. I felt safe and at home and the house is so beautifully and uniquely decorated. They were so hospitable and welcoming, truly lovely people. We stayed in March for only 1 night and the only negative is that we couldn't stay longer! Rotherslade beach is gorgeous and a short walk from the house, there is a direct bus into Swansea just outside of the house and you can walk easily into Mumbles - the location is perfect!! Thank you so much Caroline and Brian, we hope to be back soon!

  • Beautiful house in an amazing part of the world, filled with some of the friendliest people and dogs you'll ever meet! Can't wait to come back again

    James2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, Jonathan really makes an effort to make you feel at home. When you first get there, a few overzealous dogs greet you, but they are quickly turned into a great friendly part of your stay. You feel right at home, a working hobby farm, on Jonathan's family home that they've had for the last 100 years (or close to). Beautiful walks in the area, waterfalls, and the host gives you great pub recommendations - check out the Angel. If we're in the area again, will definitely stay here.

    Patrick2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely old house and room and some of the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet.

    Steve2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very quirky place. Very secluded and quiet. Lovely waterfall on the way to the house. Super place if you love dogs. Funny looking geese outside, they were very unusual. No tv in bedroom but there are two tv rooms downstairs.

    Gillian2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect stay again, thank you

  • Amazing value for money in a lovely location

    Huw2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan's place is highly recommended especially if you love animals. I had a fantastic time with his dogs and cats. We also enjoyed feeding his geese and ducks. Lexi, the dog, is the sweetest and my most favorite. The dogs are house-trained and very friendly. The property is situated next to the stream and the countryside scenery is splendid. So this place is perfect if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Jonathan, the host, is very hospitable. Sue, the caretaker, is lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Ian’s lovely apartment. The location is second to none, waking up to that view each morning and sitting in the evening listening to the sea was incredible. We cannot fault anything and can see why it’s so popular and booked up! Thanks for having us

    Victoria2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our second visit to this apartment, just as good as the first. Sparkling clean, modern & stylish space, great location & my favourite view ever. Ian offers great communication, & is always on hand if needed but the apartment is so well equipped it’s unlikely you’ll need him. Prosecco on arrival is always a treat. I love this air bnb, can’t wait to come back again & again.

    Sarah2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Clean apartment, fantastic views, welcome gifts wine and Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge. Beautiful coastal walk right outside the door, and the ice cream parlour downstairs also allows dogs and does really nice food too

  • This is an amazing apartment in a fantastic location. The flat is modern, clean and has everything you need. Ian the host was excellent and we enjoyed the welcoming treats. We spent hours just people watching from the large picture window with views of the bay. We had a brilliant day walking along the coastal path to Pennard Cliff and returning by bus. This was a perfect location and we will definitely be returning.

Also, modern day essentials TV & WiFi make this apartment a perfect retreat following a busy day & convenient for business trips.

It's also close to the shops and one of the coolest cinema's in the country. Cinema & Co is just across the road and they make the best coffee!
  • Perfect location in the city centre with everything on your doorstep. The apartment was clean and spacious with nice little touches. While the hosts responded very quickly and were always on hand to help.

    James2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place next to everything, spacious and clean. The only thing is that it needs a bit more equipment: glasses, a decent frying pan, a colander. When you stay for several days and have this great kitchen you want to be able to cook. Especially since there’s this wonderful indoor market just 5 minutes from the flat.

    Karine2020-03-06T00:00:00Z

    Jane2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful, clean and stylish place to stay in Swansea! The hosts were communicative from the start and the welcome gift was a lovely personal touch. The property itself was bigger, brighter and quieter than expected and had all the amenities you could need. The location was also 10/10 (within walking distance of the city centre with access to public transport/parking facilities etc nearby). Highly recommend staying here and would most definitely return!

  • All my needs were met at Nicola's place. I required something very last-minute, and was checking in within an hour of completing my booking with no problems. The room was clean, spacious, and had ample storage. TV and WiFi worked great, and the toilet areas were kept to a clean standard. Those staying in other rooms can be a bit rude and disrespectful, with their noise easily travelling through the house late at night, but we can't choose our neighbours unfortunately! Overall a great value, comfortable stay near the sea.

    Christian2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nicola's place was exactly as listened. It was clean and tidy, it was just what I was looking for. Communication was great and the self-check in/out worked well. Her place is in a great location, right opposite the beach, close to town and even closer the thriving neighbourhood of Brynmill. Great value for money, thank you!

  • We were looking for a quiet getaway & Gilli's place ticked all the boxes - we had a lovely couple of nights at her beautiful place in the Gower in March. The weather was Scottish style driech, so not much of a view, but being inside was very pleasant with the log burning stove and central heating. Also well stocked with games, books and all the essentials. Plus a very welcoming welcome pack! The house is extremely comfy and spotlessly clean with beautiful clean white linen on the comfortable big bed and some rather nice paintings on the walls. Even though the weather wasn't great we had a go in the fab hot tub after a fantastic lunch at the Michelin-starred Beach House restaurant on Oxwich beach. Also worth mentioning the local pub, The King Arthur. And local Post Office with Welsh cheeses and bread. Gilli is making every effort cleanliness/coronavirus-wise but still greeted us warmly (from across the garden gate at a safe distance). Highly recommended and thank you.

I can’t express enough how wonderful Gilli & Michael’s home is. Absolutely beautiful. Sparkling clean. Gorgeous views. Lovely touch with the fresh bread, jams, butter, coffee and milk. We even had the opportunity to soak in the hot tub to star gaze and snuggled up with the log burner in the cosy living room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside was that we didn’t want to get out or leave. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you so much ❤️

  • What a beautiful Airbnb, very comfy and homely. The cold weather didnt put us off using the hot tub (which was already turned on when we arrived so no waiting around) and the log fire was the perfect way to warm back up afterwards... Gilly and Michael were the perfect hosts, very friendly and on hand when required both in person and quick to respond to messages. We were welcomed with some essentials provided (Bread, Milk, Tea, Coffee, etc...) The King Arthur pub is only about 350 metres from the house, where we had some lovely food and sunk a few drinks, good atmosphere and very welcoming, highly recommend... We will definitely be looking to come back to enjoy your lovely home again. Jon and Bex.

A cosy 3 storey, 3 bedroom townhouse with all modern facilities in the centre of Llandeilo, walking distance to Dinewr Park, Dinefwr Castle, NT's Newton House, the Towy River and its historical bridge as well all the lovely shops, cafes and pubs. I only take one booking at a time regardless of the number of rooms booked so there is no sharing.
The house is part of a former Auction House which has been converted into a courtyard of 6 terraced stone town houses, individually painted with slate roofs. Each room is well presented and all modern facilities are available.
The Welsh love to chat so call into any cafe, pub or restaurant and you will feel at home. Llandeilo is a very welcoming town to visitors. We are also a short drive to The National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Carreg Cennen and Dryslwyn Castles, The Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the West Wales coast with its lovely beaches. From my house you can walk to Dinefwr Castle ( 1 hour round trip), and in town The Gin Haus, Cawdor Hotel, Angel Hotel and The White Horse ( local brewery) are all within a 5 minute walk.
  • A lovely, comfortable, clean and very well presented home with every amenity you could need . The breakfast provisions were a welcome extra. Parking right outside. Very conveniently located in town centre and near to several parks, gardens and castles.Great stay!

  • The town house was really comfortable and super clean. It was so well equipped with food, drinks, toiletries and everything had been thought of! Perfect location too. Would definitely recommend.

  • We had a lovely stay at Dawn's house in Llandeilo – it's clean, comfortable and cosy. We'd recommend it to anyone. Dawn sent helpful directions prior to our trip, and left nice touches on our arrival. We didn't have much opportunity to explore the town of Llandeilo itself, but it looked lovely. The National Botanic Gardens are also nearby, which was great for kids.

    S2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn’s place was decorated so beautifully. It was comfortable and clean and the town is small and charming.

    Walter2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This house is tucked away nicely in the town of Llandeilo, within easy reach of amenities and main roads. The house is warm, clean, comfortable and full of many extra bits and pieces that make your holiday special and more enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook evening meals, dawn has provided a breakfast tray with cereals, jams and teas/coffees. The living room was very comfortable and if you get time there is sky TV available. The bedroom was a good size, very comfortable and I slept very well here. There is a courtyard garden and two parking spaces making this very convenient if you have a dog or muddy boots. The price and location make this place a must visit. Highly recommend and will definitely look to go back.

Gorgeous location, very private, really helpful (but not at all intrusive) hosts who gave us great tips of where to go for nice meals and the sights to see, hot tub was glorious even in the rain, all round great trip! Thank you!

  • Lovely location if you're into your walking! But also a brilliant place to just chill for a few days, especially with the hot tub. Friendly and informative host. The Glamping Pod was probably the best equipped my partner and I have stayed in, lovely space. Great touch having some prosecco and breakfast items too!

  • What a wonderful place! Enjoyed everything there is about this perfect little retreat. Kieran and his mum were so welcoming and friendly, giving you everything you could ask for & also hints and tips for things to do and places to eat. The place itself is gorgeous, homey and an absolute delight to stay in!! Words do not do this place justice!! We would be back to stay again in a heartbeat.

    Emily2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing bad to say about this place. From the bottle of prosecco left on the table to the hot tub that was waiting for us to jump in even though we were late (close to 10pm), every box was ticked . The storm made our stay even more adventurous as the strong winds felt like they would take the little pod flying. The mattress was extra soft and that's where my back felt neglected, but this is a personal preference and I don't expect to have it catered everywhere i go. Who enjoys sleeping on a cloud will definitely be happy here. The tub never went under 35°c event after we sat in it during the cold rain for more then 45 minutes. Don't let the bad wether scare you ( we went during a storm) and we were still able to explore the area as google maps will guide you to good parking sports to visit the waterfalls in the area. Kieran, thanks again for everything. We had a chance to meet someone on our way out as we was gone for most of the day. Lovely to meet her and good luck with this little slice of heaven!

  • Amazing place with a wonderful setup. It's as enjoyable to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside nearby on a sunny day, as it is to snuggle up inside on a rainy day in front of the fireplace and listen to the rain pound the glass roof windows. Peter was very helpful with his tips of the local places and activities but otherwise allowed us our privacy which is greatly appreciated.

  • A wonderful stay at Olivers! Cosy yet more spacious than expected with plenty of storage for clothes including a wardrobe with hangers and shelves. The fire kept us lovely and warm and we enjoyed the views of the beautiful wild garden with birds in the trees right outside our windows and Olivers chickens! Lovely added touches of games and books, especially enjoyed the one about the life of a honeybee! Would definitely recommend!

  • the mobile home is in a private garden in a beautiful location, the caravan is somewhat dated but contains all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay.

    Susanne2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Caravan was lovely and clean, and had all that we needed for a few days away. Definitely lives up to its cosy name! Oliver was friendly and helpful with prompt responses to queries we had. We also used one of the OS maps from the caravan on a walk and we would happily stay here again in the future.

We live down a small lane and private driveway with private parking.
Located in a peaceful area on the beautiful North Gower Peninsula, making this an ideal base for surfing, cycling, walking or rock climbing.
  • Claire and Sian were wonderful hosts, my experience of staying with them was completely positive. The bedroom window opens to wonderful views. Penclawdd is well situated for exploring both Swansea and the western Gower villages, and, provided that there is a bus (and there are some!), it promises great outdoorsy days.

  • Perfect place for an overnighter if you're visiting the Gower or Swansea. Don't trust your satnav to find it however as it'll take you up a steep narrow dead end 200 yds away! Very friendly hosts were most welcoming & hospitable.

  • We had a lovely time. The cottage is set out beautifully and Carol was very helpful and kind. Great location for exploring too. We’d definitely come back and would highly recommend.

    Lucy2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cwtch Cottage is an absolute gem. Not only is Carol quick at responding to queries she is lovely too. The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely little touches. It is also spotlessly clean. We stayed with our three year old daughter who was very impressed with the selection of games. The cottage itself is spacious but still feels cosy. We will definitely be back again soon as wished we had booked for longer.

    Cathy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time . The cottage is spotless and beautifully decorated but very cosy and welcoming. We have stayed at several Airbnb’s in the UK and abroad and this was the nicest by far. We would love to return .

    Alison2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great host!

    Andy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for a great time at Cwtch Cottage. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate and cosy. We asked if Carol had a DVD player for the children and Carol bought one! She also left popcorn, chocolates and a bottle of bubbly. We felt spoilt! We didn’t realise in the listing that Netflix was there too, so that was great for us to carry on watching our latest box set. The cottage was in a great location, 10 minutes stroll along the promenade to the centre of Mumbles. We haven’t stayed in an Airbnb before but we found this so easy and such a lovely place that we hope to visit again soon. Thanks again Carol.

    Liz2020-02-19T00:00:00Z

  • A great location and very comfortable, cosy and even luxurious flat. Well equipped, very clean and bright, we felt at home at once. Our stay coincided with high winds and stormy seas so exciting to watch from the dining table. Very nice Spanish wine as a welcome gift - 2013 - a good year. And other treats too. Would definitely recommend.

  • The room is as shown as pics. It's spacious for single bedroom, comfortable and clean. I didn't meet the host, it's self check in /out and I didn't contact him anyway since there's email beforehand that explained the process. Although overall spaces were clean, there's a bit rust and moldy here and there. It's a residential neighborhood so almost nothing to see/buy here. Dollis Hills station connected to Piccadilly line (Heathrow Tube) via Green Park. The only stairs to overcome was on Dollis Hills. Overall it's worth the value. It would be much better if there's any info to use all the appliances or tips here and there since we didn't have any host to explain everything.

A fabulous holiday cottage based in the quiet village of Cheriton, nestled in the North Gower peninsula. The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room and further sleeping space in the upstairs mezzanine, which is accessed by a space saver ladder. The barn also boasts a private garden with patio area and a private Hot Tub.
A lovely self contained holiday cottage which has been newly refurbished. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout. A handmade oak ladder staircase offers access to a mezzanine bedroom above. Exposed oak timber throughout. The holiday cottage has a private garden area and boasts a private hot tub for guests.
The cottage is located at the top of the village which means that there is plenty of peace and quiet, especially at night. The barn is located at the roadside which offers easy access. There is very little road noise though as the road is very quiet at all times. Parking is available next to the barn with gated access onto the road.
  • Just as it appeared. All very clean and comfortable. Perfect as a base for exploring the Gower and coming back to a soak in the hot tub! Definitely recommend.

  • Outstanding accommodation with access to local attractions, walks, beaches and amenities. Both hosts were clear in their communication with plenty of insight to local attractions based on our interests. Thank you!

  • Such a lovely little place. I stayed for a months placement in Prince Philip Hospital, which is less than ten minutes drive so was ideal. Everything I needed to feel at home for the month! Thanks!

    Lia2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend staying in the apartment. Good location for a base and a cosy place to return to after spending most of our days outside exploring different areas of the Gower. (The furthest drive was 40mins to Rhosilli and Worms Head.) We would happily return in the summer months to see more of what the area has to offer. Kind touches of milk, butter, eggs and fresh homemade bread on our arrival was the perfect start; thank you Martin and Dawn!

    Lolly2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really comfortable stay. Best we have had in an air bnb

    Andrew2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Dawn and Martin’s place. The flat was modern, very clean, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated. Especially, the floor was very clean (no dusty feet after walking around for a few steps). Every corner was very neat and clean. The kitchen was good; the bed was comfy; the shower cube was bigger than it looked. The fresh bread was another warm touch. Martin greeted us, and he was very friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us and has a beautiful view (note that access from the south-east is steep and narrow. There is much easier access on the other side!). Overall, a very nice and pleasant stay. We would definitely try to book again when we come back to the area!

A delightful two-bedroom fisherman’s cottage just off the seafront in the Mumbles. It has one double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and another large bedroom with two single beds. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a dining table with four chairs; a washing machine/tumble dryer; fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The bathroom has a powerful shower over the bath. The cosy living room has seating for 4 to 5 people, a television, a docking Bluetooth station and a wood burner.
  • We had a three day stay here and was amazing. The cottage is perfect location, a street back from the Main Street in Mumbles, short walk to all pubs/restaurants and shops and the Pier. Some lovely beaches within walking distance or just a 5min drive too. The cottage was a lot bigger than what the photos give it credit for and after some long walks with the dog it was amazing to come back to such a cosy place. Communication with the host Susan was perfect. Would really recommend this place.

    Corinne2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely little cottage.

    Susan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were looking for a cosy base close to amenities with great walking opportunities for our little terrier, Dennis and this fabulous little fisherman's cottage ticked all the boxes. We were booked for three nights and one minute walk away were cafes, fish and chip shop and an excellent Chinese takeaway..ideal, no cooking! Just across the road a park and then the seafront leading to Mumbles pier and on to the Gower Coast path walk which really does have the most stunning views and wonderful beaches..plenty to keep us entertained. We have totally fallen in love with this coastline and hope to return to explore in more detail. Unfortunately we arrived on the tail-end of Storm Dennis so it was wild, wet and windy through most of our stay but it didn't dampen our spirits and we packed so much in. On our first night we walked the promenade and watched a beautiful sunset over the lighthouse and as darkness fell, enjoyed the sparkling lights of Swansea bay as we strolled back to our warm home from home. We played on the Mumbles beach and just around the corner at Bracelet bay. We walked at Oxwich Bay and were wowed by the huge surf and fascinating marine life washed up in the beautiful sand, sheltering from the winds up in the sand dunes. We drove 20 minutes west stopping briefly at St Eynon beach and then on to Rhosilli where we couldn't get out of the car because of the fierce wind but from the NT car park we watched the waves crashing on the cliffs of Worm's Head and were stunned by the plumes of water smashing through the blow hole with the strong wind holding the water 100ft against the rocks. It was amazing. On our last day we parked at the Gower Heritage Centre and took the footpath across the road up through woodland and down across a salt marsh estuary leading to the incredibly beautiful beach of Three Ciffs Bay. We got absolutely drenched but it was well worth the effort. Back at the the centre we treated ourselves to the most delicious flapjacks and chocolate brownies bought from the Mill bakery...worth going back for again and again! We wanted to visit some of the castles but were out of season or just too dangerous to visit in the stormy weather..so that's for next time. Returning back to Sue's cosy cottage each day was always such a relief. It's beautifully decorated white, crisp and stylish but still retaining an olde charm. It's extremely comfortable and has a great shower to warm up the bones after a day's stormy walking. Thanks Sue so much for sharing this retreat with us..we're saving up for a return visit...if you'll have us! Good luck in the future, we think you've smashed it :-)

  • This is a very cosy cottage, we spent a wonderful few days here catching up with friends and family. Storm Dennis was raging but we heard nothing, we were comfortably relaxing in this lovely home - the location of this cottage is perfect. A very short walk from the lovely Mumbles shops/bars/restaurants/lovely walk alongside the ocean. The cottage has everything you will need for a holiday - the kitchen is spotless and well equipped, my daughters particularly enjoyed the speaker. The bedrooms and lounge are very comfortable - the bathroom is also modern and spotless. The Mumbles is a lovely area, you are spoilt for choice with a great variety of restaurants and bars, everyone is very friendly. We can highly recommend the Croeso Lounge, Patricks, Mor. Parking in the Mumbles can be a challenge but there is plenty of places to park on the street and people are very helpful - we arrived late in the evening, there was a guy in the street enjoying a late evening cigarette, when he realised we were here on holiday -( unloading bags probably gave him a big hint) he was quick to show me where I could park on the street safely, he also pointed out the car park is (£6.00 per day - excellent value) the real joy is that everything in the Mumbles is within easy walking distance of this lovely cottage. Other places worth a visit are: Gower Gallery; Mumbles fine wines, The Co-op has a great range for groceries etc. There is also a Tesco extra and M&S within a short walk. Can't speak highly enough of this cottage and Mumbles - really is a lovely place.

  • Great location for exploring the local area, would recommend.

  • Thank you Susan for our lovely stay at your lovely cottage. It was central to everything. The wood burner was lovely and threw out so much heat, we loved it. We had our two cavachons (dogs) with us and they felt right at home. The space at the rear courtyard was enclosed and safe for our dogs. . We loved the little touches like reading glasses for anyone who may have forgotten theirs. All in all we would recommend and look forward to returning xxx

  • A beautiful warm cottage with all home conveniences. Perfect location, easy access to town, restaurants and shops. Coastal walks from the cottage and easy drive to explore the more remote areas of the mumbles. Lovely coastal getaway spot.
