“ MEAT is a locally owned and operated smokehouse located in the heart of Old Strathcona. An authentic BBQ experience with homemade sauces, savoury sides, and a casual welcoming room to indulge. Brisket, beer, and bourbon - keeping it simple, and doing it well.”

“This place is good for burgers and craft beers. The peanut butter and jam burger kind of place. When i first went there and notice that they had a jalapeño Mac n cheese i just had to try it. It’s my favourite one in the city. Trust me, everywhere i go and i see a Mac n cheese on a menu... i need to try it. ”

“Neighbourhood establishment. They make their own bread. I'd prefer this place for brunch rather than lunch. And then you go check out the second hand bookstore next door or burn off the calories in the ravine. ”

“Ah Pip. Where were you all my life.? This is my favorite brunch spot. Everyone needs to have some Pip in their life. This place is so trendy and charming. The perfect place for babes who brunch. And who says brunch says mimosas! I just love that they have a couple of different options than just the traditional orange juice. Pip isn’t just amazing for brunch, they do offer lunch and dinner. ”

“While working in the area, myself and other colleagues would frequent this wonderful, cozy little spot. The staff are very friendly and accommodating if you're pressed for time. The food is wonderful and there is always a glass of wine waiting with your name on it. If you're looking for a failsafe place to grab a great bite to eat with a cozy warm ambiance- this is the place to go!”
