Lochside Retreat is a beautiful 3-bedroom cottage, located in the lovely town of Stranraer. From the garden, there are stunning views across the loch and harbour so you can just sit, relax and listen to the sound of the waves! The town and local amenities are just a short 5-10 minutes walk away and the Swan Inn pub is literally just 2 - 3 minutes walk! There are trains to Glasgow and ferry crossings to Ireland also just 10 minutes away! It really is the perfect location for your holiday!

Close to beaches, Golf, Fishing, and the attractive seaside village of Portpatrick, with restaurants. The ferry to Belfast & Larne (6 ) at Cairnryan. Stranraer ( 7) miles with all facilities. In the cooler months the log fire heats the hut up very quickly. Wood provided. Drying facilities at house. If you want something different Glenwhan is the place for you.

Seaside home-from-home, tucked away at the back of the village, only 7 minutes walk from the sea. (Longer on the way back up hill!) Portpatrick has a Post Office, bakery, cafe, bars, gift shops and restaurants. Hide away, walk the cliffs and glen, swim, enjoy the dark skies and fresh air. A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.
