  • Really nice place! I like that we did not have any issues going around because it's location is near the tourism office.

  • The space is exactly as posted. I loved it! So insta-worthy, as well! We enjoyed our short stay in San Vicente because of this. 😍

  • Relaxing, CLEAN place, no ants, coffee and tea offered. The bed was cozy and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The notebook which suggests good places to eat is correct :) I am really happy with my stay in san vincente thanks. The wifi never worked, however. We therefore really got off the hook.

  • Such a cute cargo stay experience. The host is super responsive even in the middle of the night and super friendly all the time! It’s such a cute place to stay and love all the nice touches! They’re located right next to the tourism center so it’s easy to find. If you don’t drive then will need to get a tricycle around town, commutes not long though. They’re also low impact so don’t have hot water but it’s all good after a hot beach day! All in all we loved it and thanks for the experience!

  • I'm not much of a write but we loved staying at the Tiny house. The host was helpful throughout the all staying, from places to eat, to parts to go, and tours booking. We were very amused at night where we were able to relax as we watch the stars.

  • A great place to be to experience the quiet feel of a rural, filipino town. Great hosts, very responsive and helpful.

    Franko2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication with the hosts despite their absence. The house is fully equipped and well located. The wifi was sometimes lacking, but it's normal in the Philippines! Very happy with our stay there!

    Arianne2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great for solo travelers and the place is allows you to fully experience living in a remote town as you keep the fenced compound all to yourself.

  • Definitely the best airbnb we've stayed at so far. Tom and his wife Belle will treat you like family and the breakfast and dinner are absolutely great. The talks we've had with our hosts felt like speaking to people we've known for a long time. Noel, their housekeeper, can take you on a daytrip on a private motorboat, which is definitely recommendable and priced reasonably. The beautiful and clean house is located in Caramay, Roxas and ~50m from an amazing beach, which you'll have all by yourself. You'll have the upper floor and can use the awesome treehouse which is directly at the beach. The hosts totally respect privacy and never went upstairs or to the treehouse. Another plus is that you can drink the tap water as it comes from a well and is filtered. Just a 2 mins walk away there's a little store where you can buy basic items. Just be aware that there's not much else around here (to get to Port Barton is quite expensive and it takes some time). However, if you're looking for a serene and beautiful place to stay a couple of days at, go to Tom's and Belle's! 10/10 - Thanks for everything Tom & Belle!

    Christoph2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful , very clean and peaceful place to stay in Roxas, Palawan. Meals are great and abundant. Lovely couple and very hospitable.

    Matthias2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The first and most important are the people who host this place. Tom and his wife are very friendly open for conversations. Bella’s cooking is superb! Her breakfast is so huge that we skipped lunch during our stay. Same applies for the dinners. This is the first Airbnb that we felt like we are at our own home. See you soon!

    Zhivko2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at Tom's house. The location of the house is breathtaking and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It is a little bit outside, but Tom helps to organize the arrival and departure. We would recommend it to everyone who wants to have some rest for a few days. The hospitality of Tom and his wife makes you feel at home and the food is very tasty. The private boat tour is also recommended. We would come back anytime.

    Jannik2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended.. Great location to stop off for a day or two if if you’re driving up to el nido from PP. The loft is private and has plenty of space, with a nice balcony that overlooks the garden and beach. The beach isn’t great so be aware of that, but that’s not why we chose to stay here. Toms and his wife look after the guests well, providing breakfast and dinner at a nominal cost. Thanks!

    Danny2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Tom's house for 2 nights, it was excellent. Room very cozy and spacious with wonderful view and lovely garden around. Food was delicious, served in the house, we had breakfast and dinner everyday. Host was fantastic, couldn't be more accommodating, made us feel at home, we really enjoyed his company. Hope to stay here again in the future .

    Piotr2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The most amazing hospitality we’ve ever received in an Airbnb. We absolutely loved our stay. Belle and Tom were very welcoming and helped us with everything from transportation to organising an amazing private boat trip. The location and loft itself was beautiful and to top it all off Belle made the most delicious meals. Can’t recommend enough.

In the heart of San Vicente Poblacion, close to the local market and the boat tours departure, you will find our cozy place, on the first floor of a renovated building. Upstairs you will find Marina Terrace, our Italian restaurant. Located in the tallest building in the bay, it's the perfect place to catch the sunset and enjoy our authentic Italian food. Within walking distance of the famous Long Beach!
The room is made to a beautiful finish with floors made of a local wood, and large windows that look out onto a breathtaking sea-view. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar and hot showers.
The building is within walking distance of all the main services (the market for shopping, the port for boat tours, the post office, and the food court). If wish to enjoy the longest beach in the Philippines it's only a short walk from here.
  • We had a very pleasant stay at Marina Terrace. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was superb. The room was very cosy and clean. Thank you!

    Franzi2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The best place to stay in Palawan. The hosts provide beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms with little surprises like wine in the mini bar, real coffee and a nearly 360 degrees rooftop terrace. The bedroom is stylish, cozy and well furnished. The staff is attentive and friendly and offers tips and trips. In walking distance you find restaurants, a bar, the market, shops, ATM etc. As this place is run by Americans and Italians, you find the best cocktails and drinks here, outstanding Italian food and the best music selection. I love this place and I highly recommend it! Perfect for single or couple travelers.

    Sarah2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ray was an awesome attendant. He answered our questions, booked our tour and transfers very well. The room was clean and today. The movie drive was also very handy if you would just like to relax in the room. James, the owner was also friendly and attended our needs when we checked in and went up for a beautiful dinner on the top floor where the Italian restaurant is situated. We highly recommend this accommodation as well as the bruschetta!!

    Jinice & Hamish2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Marina Terrace! The view at the restaurant was beautiful and the food and service was A+ I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Cesca2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish place with the best restaurant in town. Also the hosts help you with everything to explore the area, which is handy because San Vicente is not touristic yet, and that is a good thing!

    Boy2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Marinas terrace is the perfect place to stay in San Vicente if you are looking for a more relaxing and laid back experience. The room was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning, and the views of the sunset from the bedroom window were incredible. The shower is hot and strong, and the restaurant upstairs has delicious Italian food and a great house wine. All tours can be taken from the harbour, a two minute walk away, and Ray was very helpful in organising trikes and the island hoping tour for us. The only thing is that the WiFi on Palawan in general is not very fast so I would recommend getting a SIM card in the airport in Manila before travelling out to the islands. Thank you to all at Marinas for a great stay.

    aisling2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is really cute. The rooms are perfect equipped with fridge and have a great view! Ray is helping and is awsome to book tours and help you for the whole trip. Thank you! Would always come back

    Ricarda2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Walter and other Co-host were super nice and very helpful. The rooms are really clean and like previous guest mentioned, the bed is really clean and everything smells nice. Ray was super helpful. He was willing and quick to be of service. Our stay was so much more pleasant with his assistant. Forgot to add in other note is the 5 stars restaurant on the rooftop with a view. A definite must eat place.

beach front property in a stunning secluded beach all your own. The only home on 5 mile stretch of beach. Solar powered and run by batteries at night, this property is earth friendly while affording it's guests simple luxuries like the most stunning sunset views and the blue sea and and millions of stars at night. You will have a very humble couple, Reu and Nely, who will attend to your needs for the duration of your stay.
being in a secluded place, internet is spotty at best. hot water is by request due to the limitations of the solar setup 25 miles from San Vicente, Palawan Airport or 130 Miles from Puerto Pricesa, Palawan Airport.
Being in Boding Beach which is part of Binga San Vicente, our home is the best place to find solitude and privacy. There are no Shops around so everything is provided and arrange for you. Snorkeling, Island hopping and Mountain trekking are some of the activities you might enjoy during your stay.
  • If you want paradise on earth then you found it on fritz’s place. The place is about an hour away from san vicente airport and about four hours away from puerto princesa. Its another 2 and a half hours away from el nido. We had an amazing time at that place plus the caretakers took very good care of us. Thanks, nely, reu, toto, janus and the rest of the guys for always going above and beyond. The house is situated in a very remote place but don’t you worry because fritz can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport. It will cost about 3 thousand pesos one way but its the whole van and not individually. If you want to go around town, you can rent a motorbike from Reu for 600 pesos which is about $12 USD. They also have a boat that can take you island hopping for 5000 pesos ($100) and it can seat 9 people and that includes food. Regarding going around town with the motorbike, if you are worried about getting lost, just ask janus to be your guide and he can take you wherever you want, just make sure to fill up the gas tank when you return it and to tip your guide. The poor kid didn’t want to accept our tip and was going to pay for his own gas but we eventually won the argument. Fritz has some very nice people who takes care of his place. For breakfast, just ask nely or toto what you want and they will cook it for you. Regarding your personal belongings, we left our money and gadgets everywhere and nothing was touched, these guys can be trusted. The place was amazing and the sunset from the deck was magnificent. Every morning you see fishermen selling their catch by the shore and you can go and buy it straight from them and before it even hits the market. A kilo of squid is about $4. The only downside is the sand flies. There is no tourist around so the beach is inhabited by the sand flies but don’t you worry, fritz has an antidote to that and he will share that with you when you make your reservation.

    David2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house is absolutely gorgeous and so worth 3hr car ride from El Nido (on a bumpy road!). The view from the house is breathtaking! Photos do NOT lie! People who take care of the house are so nice and helpful! We had such an amazing time there!!! Just a note: there is no wifi, not that we need it (depends on what you want to do on your holiday!) and pack mosquito repellents!!

    Krzysztof2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing time we had! The place is about 4-5 hours from the airport in Peurto Princesa so be aware of that. However, when we got there the hosts were amazing. Toto and the family on the property who managed our villa were very accommodating and amazing people. They felt like family. If you want to experience being off the grid with a private beach, island hoping on a private boat, and having a remote relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. Anything and everything we needed was there, and if we couldn't get it, Toto went above and beyond to get it for us. I would totally recommend staying here if you are ever in Palawan.

    Kimberly2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic find! I highly recommend booking this home if it's available. It's a little off the beaten path- but totally worth it if you want a beautiful beach all to yourself. Everyone who takes cares of the property are absolutely wonderful and make you feel right at home.

    Jaimee2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing house with beautiful view right on the beach. We had a wonderful 3-day stay. The 5 hour drive from Puerto Princesa was worth it (only 2 hours from El Nido). Rio and Toto were very kind and helpful. Just note that there is no wifi in the house and only limited data connection. This can be blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it 😊

    Nele2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is mind blowingly beautiful - literally like being on your own private island. The journey there is not for the fainthearted - it’s down a very bumpy road for an hour or so but being so disconnected is what adds to it’s charm. Highly recommend having Toto and team cater for you. I can’t quite understand some of the other reviews about Toto - he is a wonderful host and cooked us the most amazing food and gave us a brilliant tour of the locality. Highly highly recommend this for a group of couples! Most stunning place I have ever stayed!

    Frances2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house is a fairy tale, in any case this is the first sensation from the house. It is true from part, but there are several but. The first, and perhaps most important, but it is sand fleas that bite and leave traces throughout the body, very similar to chickenpox, if we had been warned about this in advance, then of course we did not drag ourselves to the nearest possible clinic to identify the danger of an incomprehensible rash on whole body. All other trifles, such as the lack of hot water, are, in fact, the consequences of moving away from more or less large settlements. The rest is heaven on earth. It is here that you can see not only incredible sunsets and a star-lit sky, but also the Red Book sea green turtles. During our stay, we participated in digging up the masonry and saving more than a hundred small turtles, which we spent all day in our house, in several basins. There is an excellent family of Toto, Kate and their little son Jay Ar, who for a small fee will make your stay serene, because they will prepare delicious food from the products they previously bought, wash the dishes, and, if necessary, arrange laundry, delivery of any products, transfers and all kinds of tours to nearby islands. It remains only to enjoy the beauty. There is a SUP, a volleyball court and free coconuts in unlimited quantities. The place certainly leaves positive emotions, but I would not go here again.

    Arseniy2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • I was a guest of Fritz for 5 days. The place is wonderful, certainly the most beautiful I have seen on the island of Palawan and certainly the most peaceful out of the chaos of El Nido. A huge beach all to ourselves and a crazy villa directly on the shore. Toto's service was also excellent, he didn't miss anything, he cooked for us, did the cleaning and pampered us great! Truly top! Highly recommended!

If you want a place away from the tourist trail, where you can sit back, relax, listen to music, play some board games or read a book - then this is the place for you! Staying at the Kabantagan Beach House gives you the opportunity to unwind and escape to nature, enjoy the mystery of the jungle, listen to the sound of the wind in the bamboo and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Kabantagan Beach House is nestled at the foot of a jungle & among coconut trees. Just a few steps away takes you onto a remote stretch of simply stunning beach. There are no resorts, guest-houses, bars or restaurants in this area. Bring your favourite brand of coffee & enjoy breakfasts on the verandah, some chilled wine to watch breath-taking sunsets, enough food and you will enjoy your stay! The House •Light, airy & spacious with 100sqm of open plan design •Exposed timber beams & soaring ceiling •Fully furnished - can comfortably sleep 6 people •Fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses) •Main bedroom can be curtained off from rest of space •Roomy mezzanine that comfortably sleeps two •Toilet & shower room combined •Windows screened with mosquito net (no glass) •Fans & sea breezes for cooling (no aircon) •Sea facing verandah •Cool & refreshing water for showering (no HWS) •Electricity is generated by six solar panels •Cell phone coverage good •Internet speeds can be slow
Kabantagan Beach House is located on Kemdeng Beach in the province of San Vicente, MIMAROPA, Philippines. It is a hidden gem and offers guests a place to unwind and get back to simple living. Please note we are not in Port Barton which takes approximately 45mins by boat to reach from the house. If you want peace and quiet in a local location then you will love it here. The province of San Vicente is expecting a massive boost in tourism. Visit now - before it becomes too popular! Authentic Filipino neighbourhood surrounded by nature - frogs, cicadas, birds, squirrels & monkeys. Other animals that occasionally wander past the house are free-range pigs, goats & chickens. The humble carabao (water-buffalo) is used by locals for farming & transportation - you will sometimes see these animals meander by. Beautiful clean beach for swimming and only a boat ride to a great place to snorkel in crystal clear water. Green Sea turtles swim & visit this area. These turtles are endangered so please give plenty of space if you see them emerge from or move toward the sea. Coconut harvesting may be in progress during your stay. This is an amazing sight to witness where men climb the 10m high trees to cut down the mature coconuts. Lie at night on the beach and drown in the most spectacular night sky - shooting stars, roaming satellites & the Milky Way will not disappoint. Enjoy daily fresh buco (coconut) juice - it is a delicious, nutritious & natural drink that's extremely good for you. Our caretaker can show you how to grate coconuts & squeeze the flesh to produce coconut cream - perfect in recipes or for your cocktail. The closest (and only) neighbour lives with his young family in a small Filipino style house approx 250m away. He is a teacher in the local school 2kms from the house. Island hopping trips (all within an hour boat trip) can be taken to German, Paradise & Exotic Island or Capsalay, Imuruan or Daplac Cove in Boayan Island via the San Vicente Tourist Office. Port Barton is the closest tourist town and is reached by boat in less than an hour. Waterfalls are at Bigaho & Papawyan Falls. Important Reminders: •Sunscreen & insect repellant is highly recommended - mosquitoes, sandflies & UV rays can be strong in Palawan. When swimming in the ocean, please be cautious of jellyfish and plankton bloom which may sting. Jellyfish season is unpredictable and depends on the tide and currents. •There are no banks or ATMs in San Vicente, so please make sure you have plenty of pesos for your shopping & transportation. •Tap water is sourced underground. Can be used for cooking as long as it is boiled. Drinking water best purchased in San Vicente in large 20litre refillable containers. There are containers in the house that can be used.
  • We stayed two nights at Ruth's place. It was just as described! Beautiful, private, beach house where you can disconnect with the world and enjoy nature. The housekeeper Toto was sweet and helpful and gave us a ride to the Saint Vicente to get groceries. Also the dogs were sweet and took long walks with us along the beach. The boat rides from and to PB were arranged to us by Toto and went as planned. Ruth was also very helpful and gave us a lot of advice and answered all our questions.

  • House lost in the middle of the just magical and paradisiacal jungle as the only one in the world by cons 4 * 4 strongly recommended to get there response from the host quick and helpful, unforgettable memory

  • My wife and I only stayed the one night because we don't have our family or friends with us this trip, if we did we'd stay a week. As a design enthusiast I was in la-la-land appreciating the form and function of the well considered building. The location is stunning, you can loose track of time laying about on your own beach... We'll be back, I'm sure.

  • Very good homestay for family vacation

    Dreamer2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful piece of paradise this is! Had we known that we would be on our very own beach, in an open concept home with vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen, we would have booked this place for two weeks. While it is further away from town, This bungalow is everything you’re looking for in a vacation home - huge veranda with stools and bar that overlook the ocean, an open living room and dining space to gather and dine with friends and family, and a well laid out kitchen filled with pots and pans, a big fridge and distilled drinking water. As the host says, it is a tricky place to find but her lovely neighbor is the ideal navigator to your new home on the beach. Without any reservations, I recommend this place if you’re looking for a home away from the hustle and bustle of towns like El Nido, Coron and Port Barton.

  • We had the great more than two weeks in that spectacular place. It's quite remote but thanks to that you can gain silence and peace. Despite that you have only 15 min by car to San Vicente from where you can organise a lot of trips and where you can make shopping or visit some bar or restaurant (good Italian restaurant on the rooftop owned by real Italian guy). You wake up with the birdsong and other animals sounds accompaniament. You have stunning view from the house, private beach and wonderful neighbourhood. The house is very well equipted. Ruth is the great and helpful host and also extremly patient. Also the caretakers, Toto and his wife are irreplaceable. They fixed our broken suitcase, show us how to do coconut milk by yourself, and even organised in less than 12 hours the transport to Puerto Princessa of our baby carrier which we've left in the house, thanks to that we could back home with our property. I dream to be there again!

My place is located on the beach, under coconut palm trees. Pamuayan Beach is 2 km long and has not yet been developed so you maybe the only guests there. It is close to Port Barton: 3 km on foot or a motorbike or 10 minutes by boat. It's a perfect place for couples and for everyone who wants to escape from noise and commotion. All you will hear is the sea and occasionally a boat in a distance. You can also use a kayak that i own to go to explore the nearby islands or to snorkel.
The bungalow is new and well prepared for it's function. The light construction ensures a lot of fresh air and the way it is built will make you feel you are really "away in the tropics".
The bungalow is located on an isolated and still not developed beach with white sand and soft sea bed. There are no roosters, power generators or parties with loud music to spoil your vacation time. You and your co-traveler will be alone in a paradise place.
  • The best airbnb we've ever stayed in yet. The pictures coulnt do justice with how beautiful the place is, but what made our trip more memorable was ate Rose's and her staffs hospitality. Absolutely recommended to anyone searching for peace and quiet. Will surely book this place again when we get back to Port Barton

  • Everything was awesome, but the description is not 100% true anymore. There are a lot of tour boats which have a stop on the beach in the afternoon.

    Michael2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Rosemarie is the most gentle, caring host imaginable - I have loved every second of my time spent at her place.

    Robert2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had 3 great nights in Rosemarie's cottage. The cottage was small but nice and suited us perfectly to the environment. The cottage is located outside of Port Barton, lonely on a beach (where some day trippers as well as boats from the island hopping tours can now be found) Rosemarie is a wonderful and warm host. Rosemarie served us delicious and freshly prepared food and organized an island hopping tour with pick-up directly at the cottage. We highly recommend the cottage

    Bettina2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptional host, very attentive, attentive and responsive. His little cottage on the sidelines and on the beach is a little piece of paradise that must be helped to preserve as a tourist. Fall asleep with the sound of the waves because you hear that and wake up facing the sea is the most peaceful thing!

    Tiffany2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • We booked both available bungalows. They are simple but clean and comfortable. The place is not far located from Port Barton, especially if you have a motorbike (highly recommend to rent one) - max 15 minutes. Port Barton became a bit busier last months and therefore this is a good option if you look for an even more relaxed accommodation. The beach is literally in front of your bungalow and it's very clean with white sand and a relaxed atmosphere. I also suggest a trip going up north to San Vicente. Rosemary is very knowledgeable and the everyday breakfast was delicious and can be taken right on the beach. We had a great stay, I highly recommend Rosemary's place, we will be back for sure. Must try: Explore the planktons at the beach at night!

    Manuel2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • I spent unforgettable days at Evio Front Beach Cottages! And ma'am Rosemarie was so caring (: also her staff. The dishes were so delicious. I highly recommend this place

    Kathleen2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The best placed we stay in the Philippines after arriving here we immediately booked extra days! This place is a little paradise and it is something for you if you like to wake up on a private beach, eat delicious Filipino food (best food we had in the Philippines) and enjoy nature.

Clean hut with shared bathroom facilities. My place is situated in peaceful, green and secluded area, just a few minutes from Port Barton beach and town.
12m2 basic wooden hut with queen size bed. The hut is situated in a field, with a nice view on a mountain. This project is in process. So bear in mind that during working hours you could experience some sounds from construction.
  • I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Port barton. Not only the place is nice beautiful and clean. But ate Jenelle gave us the warmest welcome. She also helped us to book our tour despite of us being late. I will definitely go back.. 👍👍👍😍😍😍

    Jeff2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We spent three nights at Jenelle's place and we really enjoyed it. The huts and the shared bathroom are pretty nice, clean and tastefully furnished. Jenelle is a lovely person, very helpful and keeps you hydrated with free water :)

    Simon2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jen is a lovely host who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us organise a good deal for a scooter rental. The hut is well-ventilated so keeps cool and kept all the bugs out at night. Very clean and even though the bathroom is shared you basically have private facilities as there are 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks for the 2 huts. 5min walk from town was also great because it wasn’t so noisy with bars and restaurants. Would recommend to everyone, great value!

    Samara2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, very clean, quiet, pleasant. Outdoor bathroom with a hammock, a revelation. I would highly recommend

    Kamila2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jenelle is very nice, very welcoming and she gave us a lot of tips to visit Port Barton. The hut is very well designed and made with quality. It is simple but very comfy. The toilets and the bathroom are super clean. We enjoyed a lot and wish that we could have stayed more. We definitly recommend Palayan Paradise Huts.

The humble place is situated at Port Barton. NOBI's Place is a four room guesthouse. Each room comes with a large private bathroom. Guests benefit from a balcony and a terrace where you can chill after a long tiring day. If you want to have a quiet place to relax and think of how beautiful life is, then this place is for you! You are definitely very much welcome to our place. -Nomer & Abi
Port Barton is a small village in the beautiful island of Palawan. Port Barton does not usually attract luxury seeking, status vacationers. Instead, it has become a popular choice for backpackers and adventurous international travellers, who appreciate and enjoy the simple, fresh, and relaxed atmosphere of this peaceful beachside village on the edge of a rainforest, has to offer. Our place is located in an open space area where you can see mountains from afar. What you see every morning invites new hope and adventure to come and ends with an orange sky that tells it is the time of the day to relax and reminisce what happened throughout the day. We also have a large bedroom (a comfy bed is a plus) as well as the bathroom space.
The place is simple and very relaxing. Far from vehicular noise. There is also a health center, Police station (in case of emergency) and some town's favorite Bar and Restaurant nearby.
  • Very nice place with very nice hosts. It was a pleasure to stay at Abi's place. Recommend to everyone.

  • Abi and Nomer’s place is fantastic. It is tucked away behind the health centre and provides a great view of the hills and yet is only a 5 minute walk to the main beach. The accommodation was spotless and our hosts were incredibly helpful in pointing out tours, great restaurants and walking ideas. We would highly recommend booking with this lovely couple!!

    Mikey2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t be more happy about this place. It was very clean. Very close to the beach. A minute away from the only bakery in Port Barton as well as walking distance to all of the best restaurants in town. Abi and her boyfriend helped us a lot. If you do island hopping book with them, you won’t regret. The scooter that we rented from their house keeper is brand new and in perfect working condition. Please keep NoBi’s place clean as if it is yours! All the best guys and see you soon.

  • Very clean, nice to have cool shower and flush toilet, bed comfy, cute quiet stay, very affordable, location fantastic as close to beach, restaurants, and local summer festival than we happen to stumble upon, oh and local tricycle drivers knew how to find place late at night from shared van terminal, we had delayed communication on check in only due to cell/internet connectivity issues on both ends but was able to find guest book and room key on front desk to check ourselves in, overall great stay and would come back again!

    Allison2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay in Port Barton! The room is very clean, spacious and you get on with it. We really enjoyed the small terrace, perfect for lounging after a day of sightseeing. The hosts are lovely and the touches of attention, like coffee in the morning and mosquito repellant in the evening, are nice. Don't hesitate, book here!

Our Guesthouse is located 10 mins walking distance from the Bus terminal of Port barton, and a min or two walking distance to the beach.. We offer best basic accommodation in town.. The room is a Double room with Shared bathroom and Fan, we have a small dip pool in the house and very accommodating staff just let us know what you need and we will try our best to help you out..
Port barton is very authentic town.. yet we are still in a developing phase but everyone really stays longer than they expected. Activities- During your first day of stay you can visit places by yourself simply by walking to White beach or kayaking to white beach, walking through waterfalls of Pamoayan.. and Bigaho falls (fave) this falls is not very easy to access but,its worth it! I promise.. Internet- SIM cards cost 80-100 pesos unfortunately internet access is limited there's no wifi here and even so its still very slow and not reliable, what you can do is to buy GLOBE (SIM cards) network this one works in the town speed is Good and SMART (SIM cards) network works just in the beach quite fast.
  • Spacious and clean place to stay. Its on walking distance from the beach and nearby are many restaurants to go to. They have a pool which I did not use. The shared bathroom is very clean as well. Hosts were very friendly and they have two cuddly rottweiler dogs. The host was so kind to book an extra night. She also adviced to go to different places like the watefall and some good (veggie) restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here to have a quite and good place to sleep!

    Eva2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great! It’s a room with a shared bath, very basic but very clean for Port Barton. Located close to the beach and close to everything happening, but far enough away where it’s quiet.

    Parker2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Staff is very helpful with booking tours and transfers. It was great that I could have a shower post checkout which allowed me to enjoy the beach a bit longer. The place is very clean and comfortable.

  • Great private rooms. Everything you need for a simple stay in Port Barton, tours and transport available through host and accommodation is located in a central area of Port Barton very close to the beach. Thanks!

'The Overlook' is a small piece of paradise which is perched on a hill 10 mins walk from Port Barton beach. It presently consists of our home and a glamping site for guests. The tents are UK 4m Bell tents which sits on a wooden stilted platform with a native nipa roof with balcony space and seating. The Overlook has spectacular panoramic views of Port Barton bay and the surrounding jungle. Profits are invested into our Non-Profit Org, Atelier Aquatic Community Interest Company @atelieraquatic
Port Barton is a beautiful, friendly and diverse costal community. A secluded bay surrounded by pristine native jungle. In the 10,000ha Port Barton Marine Park live amazing coral reefs, a vast array of tropical fish and invertebrates, and 2 species of sea turtles; the Green and Hawksbill, both endangered species. The jungle is teaming with rare bird life, including the Palawan Hornbill, who kindly resides next to our property :)
  • An incredible place! The teepee is spacious, has electricity and there is a fan! The view over the bay is beautiful from both the teepee and bathroom. Anita and Sam are very kind, welcoming, knowledgeable about not just Port Barton but lots of places in the Philippines and knowledgable about marine life and conservation. There is quite a walk up to The Overlook but it’s is worth it! Only a short 10 min walk from town :)

    Roo2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Different place, out of the ordinary. It is separated from the center of town, so the only sound that could be heard was that of nature. Yes it is true that you have to climb a slope that can be a bit tedious for who, but it is certainly worth getting up and enjoy the views of the town and the beach surrounded by trees

    Ramiro2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice tipi. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

    Ebru2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place is great, quiet and with a beautiful view towards the bay. It is located above the village, in the jungle, you feel like part of the nature. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. We recommend!

  • An excellent rest from everyday hustle and bustle, with a beautiful view of the local surroundings, with showers also a beautiful view. Very friendly hosts, at the request of organized a tour of the islands. We advise you to choose, this is the best that can be in this place for little money)

  • We loved every minute of our stay at Overlook Tipis! The property and Tipis surpassed all of our expectations. They were comfortable, stylish, unique, eco-friendly, clean, and must have had the best views in town! Our hosts Sam and Anita went above and beyond! They were there to greet us and available whenever needed throughout our stay. They offered great tips for where to eat and what to do while in Port Barton. The Tipis are just outside of town which we loved. They were quiet and peaceful but remained within walking distance of Port Barton. Would recommend this property to anyone going to Port Barton, it was truly our favourite of our trip!

Our room can occupy by 2 persons (+200 pesos for extra person), (fan room), electricity for 24 hours, solar hot shower, common kitchen, free wifi, 2-3 mins walk to the stunning beach of Port Barton.
My place is one of the most relaxing place in town, with 24/7 electricity (we have private gen set), you can also cook your own foods (we provide kitchen for our guest). Just walking distance to some place you need the most.
My place was close to some important places, like tourist assistance center, restaurants, cafe, stores, mini market, beach, basketball court, schools, etc. you can get there for just two(2) to five(5) minutes of walk.
  • Excellent place and lovely host there is a kitchen which you can use as guest which was very useful as there is no useful places for breakfast in Philippines

    Sandra2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is simple but very clean. We enjoyed the small terrace and the flower garden. Cleaning the impeccable linen. The wifi works very well unlike beachside accommodation.

  • Pisces was perfect for what we needed in Port Barton. Everything is 2-5 minutes walking distance like the bus terminal, the beach, convenient stores, little market places, and good restaurants. We were unfortunately caught in a thunderstorm so we spent basically a whole day indoors. The wifi is good, the shower is hot, and the host was so friendly and accommodating. She really made us feel at home and attended to anything we needed like bus transfers and more amenities. I would definitely recommend!

  • Good place to stay in Port Barton. It was clean when we arrived but no cleaning took place whilst we were at the property so bins got full etc. Nice sized room with good bathroom. Close to the beach and restaurants.

  • Marlon and Pams place is beautiful! The room is clean and has all you need. The outdoor area is beautiful with awesome hammocks, and a really nice outdoor shower. Marlon helped us with hiring a scooter, and they can also organise transport! The wifi was great and the location is really close to everything at port Barton is small. Marlon and his family’s hospitality is 10/10, I highly recommend staying here!

A bamboo house which is so refreshing and relaxing to stay. A very peaceful place and good location sorrounded by restaurants and bars. A block away from the seashore. Located in a secured compound. WELCOME everyone.
    Very good location.

  • The place is really near the sea in quite corner of the town. The people are really helpful and gentle. The cabana was really fresh. The WI-FI was a slowly like in all the town but that is not a problem. Around the place you can found bars (Milano cafe best espresso), restaurant ( street market) , diving center (acquaholics),tatoo shop and artisanal market. Nice. Friendly. Helpful.

  • Hello! Me and my husband spent over one week at Cubby's and we loved it :-) we had a great experience with owner and the hosts, and we are really happy with the price/quality ratio. The place is just 3 minute walk from the beach, also you will chicken in the morning :-) yep - good 'ol cook-a-dooodle-doo May wake you up :-)

    Olga2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • We've just spent 4 days at Cubbys with my husband. You get exactly what you agree on Airbnb. The bamboo hoots are clean and you get WiFi. For the price it is really a good deal. Also - 2 minute walking distance from the beach. Just remember that you gonna get woke up every day by chicken and cooks doing their cook-a-doodle-doo thing at 5 am. They are me Cubby's neghbours chicken, but you can surely hear them in the morning.

    Olga2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely ideal location to enjoy this beautiful little town. A block from the sea shore and tiki torch lit restaurants. Very quiet area. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly with any and everything. Hut was lovely, yes there are bugs it’s a hut, that’s part of the experience ! Mosquito net was provided, flushing toilet, shower head and running water, decent WiFi, what more could you need in the Philippines! The front porch really made the stay extremely enjoyable to drink coffee, hang travelers laundry, or lounge. We will be back~~

Soak up the awesome atmosphere of Gilligans Port Barton, our tropical paradise home where you'll find the air sweet and the breeze warm. The water shimmers sky blue and the nights are filled with fun, food, stars and romance. Gilligans is in Paradise.
There are very few properties in the world such as Gilligans that are available for such a reasonable price. Gilligans is a simple 3 bedroom beach house set on 2 acres with 180 metres of beautiful sandy beach with magic views, and is ideal for couples or family groups. Guests have exclusive access to the whole property including the house, our well-equipped kitchen, paddle boats and kayaks, sun loungers, 2 cabanas and our 2 new Stand Up Paddle Boards. We can accept up to 8 guests comfortably in 4 queen sized beds, as we have placed a privacy divider in the middle of the very large 3rd. bedroom. You can see photos of the bedrooms in the photo gallery. We can even place extra beds or mattresses on the floors for larger Filipino family groups who may not be fussy about sleeping 'parang sardinas'. Gilligans is located centre beach in Nao Nao, pronounced Now Now, which is around a 20-minute boat trip from Port Barton. Our closest neighbours are 20 people living in the small fishing village around 300 metres away from the house at Gilligans, except for our caretakers who live in their cottages 70 metres from the main house. Our caretakers at Gilligans are available to assist you with meals, housekeeping, babysitting, and the use of our amenities. Our staff are available on call or they will leave you to do your own thing. You will see them rake the beach daily and sweep the leaves away. They'll keep the grounds spic and span and attend to your needs. Whilst you are not required to tip our staff, if they provide additional services such as laundry, you should pay for their hard work. As a guide, the daily rate for a worker is around P300, or $6.00. If you are happy with their services and you are inclined to tip our staff, they would really appreciate your generosity. Port Barton is a seaside village on the west coast of Palawan and is situated between the Underground River and El Nido. It is a 2 and a half to 3 hour van trip from Puerto Princesa airport, going past the Underground River turnoff on the way. Consider taking the side trip to visit this famous attraction on the way to or from our home. Both public and private transport is available to Port Barton. Some of our guests have rented cars and motor bikes for the trip. 4x4 vehicles are sometimes required. Whilst most of the way from Puerto is on a concreted highway, the last few kilometres of the Port Barton road can be muddy and difficult to traverse at times, particularly in the rainy season which is from July to November. We recommend that our guests use the services of a regular driver who will meet you at the airport, take you shopping if required, provide some cold drinks for the trip, and he'll also give you the option of taking the Underground River trip, if time permits. If your private van is unable to pass on the new road to Gilligans when you arrive or leave, your boat trips from Port Barton and return are included in the rental fee, as is the case with guests using public transport. For those that want to make additional trips back and forward to spend time in Port Barton, there's a small fee to cover fuel and staff costs.
Our boatmen are available to take guests on fishing trips and Island Hopping. Prices are available by application, but as a guideline, expect to pay $15usd per person for an Island-Hopping day trip with a beach barbecue lunch provided. A minimum price of P2500 applies for small groups. You won't need a car at Gilligans as there is only one road, which is newly graded and should not be relied on in times of heavy rain. Most people take a boat anywhere they want to go. You’ll probably see the caretaker’s children being picked up for school in a little boat. The parents share the duty of taking their children to the nearby school.
  • We had a wonderful stay at Gilligans! Everything was as described and more. There were a few minor hiccups due to us booking the last minute, but the hosts have been kind enough to accommodate us and our experience have been amazing nonetheless. We’d like to stay longer next time!

  • This place was amazing. The beach was so calm and inviting, it made swimming at an hour enjoyable. Erika was very accommodating and prepared delicious food. If you have the chance to stay here, do it. This place will exceed your expectations.

  • Gilligans was the absolute best! This place is paradise found! Secluded, beautiful and great staff onsite. Erica, Reggie and their boys were great caretakers Mal met us upon arrival by boat to welcome us. Everything was amazing. We were not wanting to leave! Highly recommend this place!!!

    Kim2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Gilligans Port Barton is the place to be for relaxing in a marvelous beach with white sand and great people. It's the paradise place for "farniente", comments are not sufficient to describe it, you have to live it!!

    Bryan2019-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • The private beach is better than you can imagine. Warm/calm water, no people, and lots of toys for us to enjoy. We highly suggest you let Erika prepare your meals (and clean up), it is worth having great/convenient food without the hassle. Plus, getting groceries there is logistically difficult, let the locals take care of you! Our summary of Gilligans/Palawan...It’s like Hawaii but much better...minus all of the people and a fraction of the cost. This has been our best family beach vacation.

    Rob2019-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Gilligans is a beautiful spot on a quiet beach! A perfect place to relax, unwind and detach from the hustle and bustle. We loved sitting on the front porch, having our meals prepared by Erika and Family, walking to the waterfalls and kayaking/ paddle boarding around the bay. The house is cozy with all that you need! We have nothing but good to say! :) Thanks again, Kevina, Sean, Sarah & Corey Newfoundland, Canada

  • After a stressful time at work we wanted to relax an calm down in our holidays. At Gilligans we found exactly what we needed and so much more :). We enjoyed the beautiful and lonely beach. Kayaking to the waterfall and the nearby small island was a great pleasure. We loved the island hopping tour with great snorkeling sports where we saw some seaturtles and beautiful reefs. A big thank you goes to Erika, Reggie and their boys Eri and Eric. These warm hearted and friendly people made our stay extra special. Erikas and Reggies cooking is superb, always tasty and delicious. You have to try all the meals and ask for a coconut (they are really big :)). Last but not least, thank you to Mal for sharing this beautiful and lovely place.

MangoTree House is the place where I mostly spend my time in San Vicente, it's my home. This room is the twin of mine. I live in the next one. This flat is the perfect combination between intimacy and comfort, because it's closed to Long Beach (10 mins by walk) and to the central market at the same time, it's a pleasant windy place but not so noisy, there's an hammock in the large terrace in front. I love simple life, I hope you too. Enjoy! Nico
San Vicente's life is the typical slow calm local village's life in the Philippines, the neighborhood is very friendly, welcoming and smiling. There are many small shops close to the house we you can find what you need. "Lehitimo cafè" is a friendly restaurant where you can have your "continental" breakfast with a discounted price.
  • Great little place to stay near center of town. Quick 5-10 minute walk. Comfortable bed with mosquito net and one hot stove to do light cooking and a kettle if you want to drink tea/coffee. No AC but there's a fan in the room. Nico was very responsive to my messages and it was a pleasure staying here.

  • Nicolo is a great host! He helped us to arrange things to do in San Vicente, and was very hospitable and nice. The place is clean and conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay, thank you, Nico!

  • Unique place to stay with a great view as long as you are fit enough to climb up and down the hill a couple times a day. The owners are super helpful and friendly.

    Colin2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent everything, Alan is always willing to help and give recommendations, the place is unique, and very quiet! We would return without a doubt

    Nico2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Overlook is very well placed away from noise, the teepees are very clean and the view is breathtaking. We stayed with our daughters who also loved it.

  • Easily the coolest place to stay in Port Barton, Sam is a great guy too and will hook you up with the best the region has to offer. Look no further!

    Ryan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place on top of a hill but close enough to the town (barely 10 min walk) the perfect spot to enjoy a truly experience in the jungle within walking distance from the beach. The views are some of the best we have had during our entire holidays in the Philippines.

    Yaré2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Overlook is such a special sanctuary. Waking up the mist rolling over the hills and seeing the ocean sparkle was really quite incredible! Anita and Sam are fantastic - they are so friendly and open and have great local tips to share. Be sure to ask about their wonderful conservation work with Atelier Aquatic and to stop by The Canopy at the bottom of the hill for breakfast or for drinks.

    Emma2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! The view is awesome and the city is way better then El Nido. Super friendly and helpful host!

  • Beautiful view, awesome hostility and great tips of the local food and attractions. The overlook provided us with a comfortable stay and we felt very welcome. The walk up to the accomotadtion could be hard for some, but added to the character and feel of the place.

Our property is located in a very remote part of Palawan island, on the northwest where most tourists have yet to discover. The cove where our property is located is between two fishing villages. Both can be accessed by foot or by boat. The people are friendly and it is safe. There are 2+ hectares with a 60 meter beach front. Beyond our property to the south end of the undeveloped cove, there are an additional couple hundred meters of beach line with no other residents or structures. On the north end there is only one local neighbor.
  • Big salamat to Charity & her awesome caretakers, Jun & Jen! Seriously amazing Filipino homecooked meals and unreal private beach setting. I felt like I was living the dream. The hut is beautiful and all loved the hammocks! The beach is so clear and calm and the float is so cute. So many little touches! Loved how it was just us and the dogs and local kids playing and walking to the neighboring fishing village too. The fishermen doing their hard work at night was awesome to witness! We were completeh taken care of, so so spoiled!! Huge thank you for sharing this paradise with us! This is what Filipino hospitality is all about and more! We want to come back for sure :)

    Iris2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is truly a diamond in the rough! It’s a must do! The place offers such privacy and the beaches are amazing. The staff are so lovely and the food is fresh and leaves you wanting more. It’s worth the trip to get there as it’s a little far from the main visited spots in SAN Vicente but I can guarantee you the effort to get will recognised the moment you get there and see the private paradise you will be staying in!

    Juan2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best places which we ever visited! It is a hidden paradise where you can feel a bit like lost Robinson, except you will eat delicious food served on the terrace which the best restaurant would not be ashamed of. Cottage is amazing. Beautiful, romantic and cozy. With many nice details which make your stay unforgettable. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. You will feel welcome. It is unique experience to stay at Charity's place. Perfect romantic getaway.

    Magdalena2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is literally paradise. How it’s so untapped I’m at a loss yet also so thankful. Charity is the perfect host and so quick and thorough on her responses. The caretakers Jun, Jan and JR were always available when needed but felt like they weren’t there at the same time. Food was great yet vistas were once in a lifetime. Thank you so much for making our trip to the Phillipines so profound and unique. We shall return!!

    Daniel2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • It is a breathtaking place! You are completely alone on a white beach. Simply fantastic! Very good cuisine! We felt very comfortable!

    Tobias2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you like peace and quite and a secluded place that is not overrun by tourists, than this cottage is for you. I enjoyed the amazing view (having grown up with one, this was one of the main draws), the beach you have to yourself, the beautiful cottage, and generally just being away from everything and not very well reachable. To relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area is what you come here for. Also, the super friendly host Charity, who went out of her way to accomodate my every whim, even anticipating options and thinking of extra alternatives and ideas for my stay there, made my time there completely careless and I was lucky to be able to prolong my stay - I enjoyed every moment! The cove hopping is a must and the host family of Jen and Jun and their children is really nice and discreet. Also: the food they cook is excellent (especially the fresh fish caught by the people from the nearby fishing village I will remember). I can only say, this is a place you must visit if, like me, you like to get away from touristy places. I hope it will stay like this for years to come as I will certainly come back!!! Thank you very much Charity, Jen and Jun!!!

    Natalie2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful 3-night stay in this very very remote place. Everything was great. Excellent communication, accomodation, food, hospitality. The Beach is awesome. You are completely alone here, except some local fisherman. We have not seen any other tourist in our stay and enjoyed our time just relaxing in this remote place. Getting there is a challenge but you will be rewarded when you made it there finally. Transportation was organized by Charity very good and smooth. Not a single problem getting around. We had a pick up from Sabang and after our stay we were dropped off in El Nido. Definately recommend this place. Also the floating raft is just awesome.

    Daniel2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was beautiful and very charming. The views from the balcony was amazing. You will have the whole beach just for you and the over water hammocks was nice place to escape the heat during the day. June and Jen are doing great job and the food was very tasteful. Charity was the most helpful host we have ever had. She helped us a lot with all kinds of travel arrangement and was very kind and responsive in all matters. We really enjoyed our stay here. A truly paradise :)

  • "Tropical Off Grid Paradise"... what else to had? For sure this cottage was our best experience of our Filipino Trip! Short list of the thinks we loved there: - our 3 cooking chefs - incredible local food (best fish of our trip) - the kindest of every other people working there - typical filipino village - the cottage was super clean, nice design, perfect location to relax - 5 km white sand beach for us - boat trip/motorbike/lots of supply to entertain yourself/health supply - we didn't miss anything during our stay - amazing sunset, mangrove and jungle in background I highly recommend you the private van transfer and the cooking fee, you won't regret it.

  • The place is juste so quiet and perfect. If you’re searching a big big private beach, a garden like paradise and confortable wood house you’re at the right place. The landscape is outstanding. Fritz was very helpfull and reactive. He managed some good activites for us. We were so chocked by the beauty of the place only for us. Amazing experience. See you next year for sure.

    Timothee2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The days at the accommodation were just amazing :) When we booked the accommodation shortly afterwards came a message from Fritz who asked how we can get to the accommodation. Since a few things went wrong with us, Fritz gave us a few tips and even organized a van to pick us up. Fritz was always available and mega helpful. The accommodation itself corresponds 100% to the pictures, and I have never seen anything like this before

    Stefan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most incredible two nights in Fritz's cottages. The journey from the airport is long but Fritz organise a large van for us so there was lots of room to spread out and sleep. The beautiful cottages, untouched beach and local village was worth every minute of the journey. Four local ladies cooked us delicious food everyday for a great price as this place is so rural there isn't even a local shop! We can't wait to come back and would recommend this place to all of our friends.

    Gemma2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is the pure land in my dream, with blue sea, boundless beach, starry sky, the warmest people, Fritz considerate care, kind and simple ladys cooked delicious food ,smart and lovely dogs,We will come back again. Thank Fritz again for making our dream come true!🥰

  • At Fritz place you can see the true Phillipines. Nesteled in a local Village. Private endless beach only for us. Everything was taken care. Kitchen is ready to use but we take the private chefs(3 local Ladys from village) who really taken care of us. We hade an amazing stay there. Boot Tours you organize direct there. Fritz is an amazing host who really care about the people there.

    Bernhard2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was just the perfect place for the end of our holidays: the house offers all the comforts, the cooks are amazing and the beach/sea is paradise. No other tourists around, just you and the people from the village which are super kind and welcoming. No other place we have visited in Palawan was so peaceful! If we ever go back to Palawan, this is for sure a place we want to go back to! Thank you to everyone that works for this property for making our stay so special!

Ysidore Garden is located inside a family compound in a quiet neighborhood. Located in the middle of Puerto Princesa and El Nido, it offers a relaxing break from your 7-hour journey. 5 mins to port area if you plan to go island hopping in roxas.

It's easy to reach each Paradise
  • The place has spacious and clean rooms, a nice pool and it’s a great stop over if you’re going from Puerto Princesa to el Nido, also to discover the surroundings. We visited Port Barton and Modessa island. It has a very nice pool and it’s very kid’s friendly. Cassandra is the most welcoming host and will help you with all you need! If Roxas is on your way, I’d highly recommend Ysidore’s garden!

  • 5+ stars. Late check in and out with no issues. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, good water pressure and yummy Filipino breakfast. The grounds and gardens are like a tropical vacation in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hidden oasis! If you’re stopping on the way to El Nido, this is the place to be. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you to Cassandra and the entire staff for their hospitality and who made our stay and my aunt’s birthday bash a huge success!

  • Cassandra's place definitely exceeded our expectations! Cassandra went above and beyond as a host - she picked us up and dropped us to the bus stop instead of us having to pay for a tuk tuk, breakfast that was included was awesome and she catered to our dietary restricitons, she also made us a wonderful home-made dinner (which wasn't part of our booking) and when we had minor wifi issues she gave us her own personal router which worked extremely fast (note that it's almost impossible to find good wifi in Palawan). Overall the entire property had a resort-vibe with stylish cabanas by the pool and the bedrooms were extremely spacious yet affordable. This was definitely our favourite place to stay from our entire 3 weeks in The Philippines. Highly recommended! Thanks again for everything <3

Only 4 cottages and 8 rooms into huge property with amazing white sand private beach. Located isolated land and outsider is not allowed to come inside. The world is like yours. Enjoy special vacation at paradise filled with peaceful atmosphere.
This cottages are located at isolated place only 15mins boat trip from Port Barton village. Good for escaping daily life. The beach is really clear than mainland and private for you. If you are lucky, you can see the turtles laying eggs on the beach.
  • Was a cool Beach to stay. The house we had was pretty and had everything. Just note that the electricity is only running from 5:30 pm till midnight. So over the day till 5:30 you won’t have any power, lights or warm water. Also good to know is the fact, that you are at a really isolated beach. Which means to get to port Barton or anywhere else you need to take a boat which is no problem but it costs you. But of course the boat to arrive there for your check in and the one to take you back after your check out is for free :)

D' Angels Inn is a place where you can relax and feel the fresh air from the green environment. A safe place nearby the police station and health center.
Our place has a private bathroom for each room, a balcony and a parking space. It is a walking distance from the beach and restaurants and beside the police station and health center
  • Best option in Port Barton!!! Kenneth was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful! :) His place has a great location, away from the noise but close enough to walk everywhere. The room was really clean and the water pressure was great. Although there’s no AC the fan was more than perfect. If you’re staying here, you should FOR SURE book a tour with him. The one we did was one of the best ones in our whole vacations. Kenneth was super nice and pick us/drop us at the van terminal. Here it’s the place to stay if you’d like to have a great time in Port Barton!

    Jeniffer2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Kenneth's place was great! Him and his wife are very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The room is clean and spacious with a lovely terrace in front of it. The only cons are the weak wifi and reception, like almost everywhere in port Barton, and there is not hot water. Highly recommended!

    Rachele2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The best stay with the greatest host of southeast asia. Kenneth is so thoguhtful and always worried that you are OK and have what you need. The place was new, private bathroom, very spacious, clean, comfortable, you will have free coffee and tea. The room had a fan which is actually perfect, at night we had to turned it off, it wasn't hot at all. The location is good, is a very small town. Kenneth picked us up and took us to the bus station free of charge, so nice!!! I highly recommend staying at his place.

  • This place is absolutely beautiful! Everything is done with taste and thought, the facilities are fantastic, the food cooked here was the best we ve had in Philippines. Christian and his small crew are amazing hosts. We loved every minute if our stay and will definitely come again.

  • Second year here and I will definitely come back. So relaxing and nice to disconnect from the rest of the world. But now there is wifi.

  • Wonderful place located at a quiet beach. The food was great and so was the stay. We got there by motorbike, which was great. It’s about a 2 hour drive (scenic) from puerto. Mid way there’s a waterfall which is a great place to cool off! Overall super accommodating and well worth the effort of getting there!

    Hidde2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • It is right on the beach - stunning location and great beach for swimming. There are also trips to nearby islands for snorkelling etc. The room had a comfortable bed and a fan and the bathroom was clean. We really enjoyed it here! We would love to come back :)

  • If you want a place to get away from everything this is your place. You have the beach to yourself. During the day it was a bit windy but mornings and evenings it was lovely. Unfortunately I hurt my leg on the way there and could not fully enjoy the surrounding area.

  • Lunazul is a great hostel from my point of view, the rooms are as they appear in the photos, very nice staff, very rich food (there is Spanish food) and certainly well located. For me, one of the best stays in the Philippines!

  • Our stay in Lunazul was ideal! Everything turned out as seen in the photos (even better)! Juan and all the girls who work there were super friendly and attentive to us. They gave us many tips on things to do and were always willing to help us with whatever we needed. The place super clean and neat! All impeccable. Many thanks! It was really a pleasure. Philippines: There is an island in Palawan which is home to a fishing village to one side, and a secluded resort on the other side. The private beach features a villa with six bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own terrace or balcony and views of the spearkling sea and small islands on the horizon. A special feature is that you can watch the sunrise from the main terraces on the two floors to the front of the home. It is certainly worth waking up early for a sight light this.
Our house is built on top of a hill which gives you a view of your own beach where you can relax in the white sand, sleep in a hammock or snorkel in the reef. To get to the home you have to walk up 102 steps. This will keep you fit during your stay.
At night, the house lights up via a generator - just like all other privately owned island that surround it, at first you will be able to hear the motor pumping behind the home, however, you will quickly get used to it and will not even notice it anymore. It also powers the air conditioning that every room is equipped with. (it can and will be switched off during the night as well as most of the day as you will be enjoying yourself on the beach)

A few meters away from the beach of Port Barton, a two minutes walk, excellent location, near the restaurants and bars. And it is along the road, few meters walk away from the van terminal, 1 minute walk. Our guest will be relaxed with the view of the mountain and rice fields from their individual rooms. It's a quiet place even though it is in the center of Port Barton. There is hot and cold shower and an airconditioned rooms. The electricity in Port Barton is already 24hours.
Our property is a 2,000 square meter. A lot of open spaces.
Lot of very friendly local people. Tours and boats are always available.
  • The best stay compare the price in our whole vacation. The best shower I had in the Philippines. Great cheap breakfast fresh made by this lovely lady. She will do anything to make your stay perfect.

  • Great Airbnb. Across a small field from the van station so it was very convenient when we arrived after dark. She met us at the main building and showed us to our room. Breakfast had multiple options, we did Continental and American and they were both great (the pineapple jam is amazing). Our plans changed and we ended up staying longer, but they were very accommodating and switched us to another room to finish out our stay. Great host, and great service. Philippine Hospitality for sure!

    Dustin2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • I love that the place is close enough to the main beach area of Port Barton yet far enough from the noise of the establishments or passers-by. We were instantly welcomed by the famous Ate Becca who was our go-to person for our needs and inquiries. She was very cheerful and accommodating to our questions about tours, transport and stuff. She found a way for us to access our room earlier than check-in time. And when we had to stay beyond our check-out time, she offered to keep our luggage and even provided us with bath towels as we showered and prepared to leave Port Barton. I also love the little touches to the room that makes so much of a difference: separate bathroom and toilet, designated poles where we can hang our wet clothes, a drinking station where we can get hot or cold water 24/7, a small space outside our room where we can simply hang out or eat breakfast. Two things that needed improving: bidet for the toilet and wifi connectivity. Everything else is great and very satisfactory!

    Jendell2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Accommodation as seen in the photos. Great idea to separate the shower and the toilet. Big bed.

Beso is a stylish and upscale place that offers stunning views, comfort and serenity. A place where mind unwinds, soul grows and body relaxes. We are located in the outskirts of Port Barton on a hill with a vista view of the mountains, rice fields and the Ocean. Lavish greenery isolates Beso from any kind of noise. Our dorm is made solely of lumber and has many windows yet your bed is sealed off with a net from bugs and mosquitoes. Downtown Port Barton can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
Currently there is a dorm with a balcony a shared bathroom, and a sun deck with showers. There are six bunk beds in the dorm. Each bunk bed can comfortably accommodate two people as they sport a 6x54x75 inch (15x140x192 cm) mattresses, a ceiling light and fan and the equipment charging station. You will stay in a bunk bed which sleeps two people. If you are one person you will sleep in the bed alone. If you are two people and you book two people you will be placed in the same bunk bed. If you want two bunk beds you need to book 4 people. This is how Aibnb works. If you book 3 people you will stay in 2 bunk beds but after arrival I will charge you 400 P per night. This is because Aibnb allows to book people not beds and the 3rd person was booked for 400 peso only and should have been booked for 800 peso as this is how much I charge per bed. The balcony is accessible from the dorm only and it is a great place for hanging out, chilling or socializing. There are 3 washbasins, showers and toilets in the bathroom. The sun deck sports sun beds and chairs, mattresses and there are two cold water showers. Here is is another bed if this place has been booked. https://abnb.me/GM8xkbzlG2
There are not many dwellings around our place. Beso is located on the hill and it is isolated from other human dwellings. From the dorm balcony and from the sun deck you can see the Ocean. From the restaurant you can see both the Ocean and the mountains. - Port Barton Beach and Port Barton Downtown - 1 km - White Beach - 4 km - Pamuayan Beach - 3 km - Pamuayan Waterfall - 5 km - Bigaho Waterfall - 10 km - Long Beach in San Vicente - 30 km (rough road) - Underground River in Sabang - 170 km

With questions and concerns you were advised and informed exactly. The hostel is very clean, the beds were made daily, the sanitary facilities cleaned and generally cleaned. It is a bit on the edge but you have a beautiful view and a quiet location. Lovely again !

The team is very caring, they are all lovely, we are surrounded by nature, and the sleeping area is really clean and comfortable. They pay attention to every detail to improve the experience for the customer. I stayed there for a week, and I'm going back today <3

  • Archie is a welcoming and very nice host. Just 1,5 month ago he started hosting his rooms and therefore it's really new and clean. He'd also gave us some good locals tips for restaurants and boat tours. Definitely recommend !

    Nico2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Moonlight! It's really budget friendly, plus you get a 10% discount on island tours. Archie was also warm and welcoming all throughout our stay!!!

    Marvin2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • + Archie is super-friendly and helpful, he really cares about his guests Good location, close to van-terminal and village Probably the cheapest place in Port Barton Wifi good for Port Barton standards Comfortable beds Double rooms have good size Outside kitchen has everything one really needs Scooter and kayak rental possible 10% discount on island hopping tours, probably the cheapest way to do the tours (make sure you are on a boat with Archies crew which does everything for you to enjoy the trip) Laundry service available - Walls thin as paper; you hear everything Big window to corridor, therefore little natural light Rooms are a bit smelly and you don't get a lot of fresh air unless you leave the door open No possibility to close the window; especially annoying if people smoke close to the rooms The bathroom is all wet after showering The surrounding area is not pretty but you are away from the busy center All in all we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it if traveling on a budget.

The bungalow is located on a hill overlooking the Port Barton Bay and beach. It's a perfect spot for those vacation makers who value privacy and great views but at the same time want to be close to restaurants and shops (down in the village). I recommend it to couples and families who plan to stay in Port Barton for a week or two.
My bungalows location is truly unique. From its porch you can see Port Barton Beach and small islands located nearby. If you like watching sunsets you will not want to miss a single one while in my place.
  • Perched on a hill above Port Barton beach, the views from the property are fantastic. There are three rental cottages with patios, surrounded by well kept gardens, and a covered terrace with tables and seating. The host's husband and property caretaker, Walter, was very helpful, provided advice about activities in the area, and arranged transport, kayak rental, laundry and a tour boat. My wife and I had a relaxing, six night stay and enjoyed taking in the views, eating mangos and papayas in the mornings and sipping aperitifs in the evenings.

    Nicholas2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The villa was super clean and is ewuipped with everything you need, as well a little kitchenette. The hosts Walter and Arcelita are absolute lovely and helped a lot with tipps and recommendations. We hope to come back soon! Thanks for all!

    Celeste2019-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely cottages overlooling beautiful port barton bay. the view is amazing especially for sunset - pictures on airbnb really dont do justice. This is a very good compromise between privacy and convenience: you are far enough from the village to feel alone but close enough to walk down anytime. i highly recommend it for couples :)

    Fabrice2019-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Compliant with photos and description, it's even better. The location is superb and a little away from the city. There are 60 steps to go up to the bungalow. even if it's far away, you can hear the city music in the evening. Arcelita's husband is often on site and is super available. Opportunity to buy water and drinks at the location.

In the heart of San Vicente, close to the local market and the boat tour offices, you will find our cozy place, on the first floor of a renovated building. Upstairs you will find Marina Terrace, our Italian restaurant. Located in the tallest building in the bay, it's the perfect place to catch the sunset and enjoy our authentic Italian food. If wish to enjoy the longest beach in the Philippines it's only a short walk from here.
  • Marina terrace is a very nice and cosy place and most definitely the nicest building in San Vincente. The room was nice and clean and the service was great. Ray helped us with everything we needed. The restaurant on top was nice, too with rather Italian prices. We had a wonderful time in Marina terrace and would have spent more time there if we could :)

  • My BFF and I had a great stay! Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast at the terrace was superb. I loved the omellete and pandesal. The location is close to shops and the food court. Ray made our stay more enjoyable by organising our tours, meals and transport. We felt we were looked after very well. If you are in San Vicente, make sure you stay here. You wont be disappointed.

    Raylin2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy and well decorated room! People at Marina Terrace are super nice and helpfull. Except island hopping and beaches, the city is not so touristic than El Nido for example. The advantage is that for island hopping you are only a few on the shared boat, but disadvantage is that there is not that much place to eat except italian restaurant from the Airbnb. The food is awesome, you feel like you were in Italy but count 20€ at least per person per plate!

    Grégoire2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts, amazing location right next to the marina and beach where the island hopping tours leave! Nice view from the restaurant.

  • Walter and other Co-host were super nice and very helpful. The rooms are really clean and like previous guest mentioned, the bed is really clean and everything smells nice. Ray was super helpful. He was willing and quick to be of service. Our stay was so much more pleasant with his assistant.

    Lauryn2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The room is very clean. The bed sheets, pillows(super soft) and towels smell good. Ray is very accommodating, plus he can arrange your tour in San Vicente. My place is located on the beach, under coconut palm trees. Pamoayan Beach is 2 km long and has not yet been developed so you maybe the only guests there. It is close to Port Barton: 1.5 km on foot or by motorbike or 10 minutes by boat.
  • This place is absolutely fantastic! If you don't mind putting up with very basic amenities (no hot water, no aircon, power only between 6 and 10pm), it is well worth the stay. There are now vans straight from Puerto Princesa to Port Barton which only take 2.5 hours for 500 pesos, so getting here is easy. The cottage itself is basic but all the better for it. The view out the front window is astounding and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was extremely relaxing. In the morning you will largely have the beach to yourself, however small crowds start to arrive around 12pm, with the boats arriving after 1pm. With that said there was never more than around 50 people on the entire beach (which is about 1km long), so space was never an issue. They mostly all leave by 5pm as well. Sunset is amazing! Rosemarie and her staff are all lovely and the food is great. If you want somewhere off the grid to just relax and soak in the sun, this is the place for you!

    James2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice beach front cabin. Very clean, and Rosemarie is a great host! She and the girls in the little beach-restaurant beside the cabin took such great care of us. Even brought us a morning coffee by waking up very early, enjoying the peace and beautifull views at the beach :) Rosemarie's cousins took us at privat tour by boot, visited some great snorkeling spots. Lots of fish, coral and turtels. Diner is only fililpino, but is the best we had at our trip. Delicious prawns :) we ate it for lunch, and for dinner ;) Town is a 45 min walk away, but a scooter is available for rent, or she arranges a tricycle. Helped us booking a Van to puerto princessa, we felt completly taken care of. Highly recommended if you are looking for a stress-free stay at a lovely cabin directly at the beach.

  • It was 7 wonderful days that I was allowed to spend with Rosemarie and your team. The food and the infusion was fantastic and you enjoyed the peace and quiet in this paradise. Only sometimes when the tourist ships arrived in the afternoon did some tourists know how to behave properly and had consumed too much alcohol on their previous stays. The excursions can be booked directly with Rosemarie and will also be picked up from there. Thanks to Rosemarie and your Waltef team

  • We had a really lovely, relaxing stay at Rosemarie's place. The cottage was actually better than I expected, and the location was absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed the included breakfast, and also the dinners we bought at Rosemarie's restaurant which were delicious, with quite a lot of choices available and good value too. Rosemarie was an absolutely lovely host, as were her family members and other staff who were all helpful and friendly. We enjoyed using Rosemarie's kayak for free. The setting is extremely relaxing, although be aware (while we there at least) multiple boat trips with 15-20 people each stop at the beach, directly outside, from around lunchtime to sunset. There are still quiet areas you can find further up the beach though during those times, and the mornings and evenings you almost have the place to yourself. Thank you Rosemarie, we would certainly recommend your lovely cottages.

  • This place is amazing. On the first day of our three day stay at the smaller cottage we immediately booked 7 more days at the bigger cottage and change our whole travel plan. This place is breathtaking and even after staying here for 10 days I wished we had more time here. Best host, best food, best beach, best walks and the most amazing view everyday. The cottage was super clean and looks way better than on the photo. If you’re looking for a place to relax, read a book and enjoy nature this place is for you!

  • I have been visiting so many beaches in the world. This cottages sit right on the beach, as it an undeveloped, it keeps the beauty of nature. Very few people pass by, so you can enjoy the most like a private beach. Cold shower is not a problem compare to what I enjoy in here.
