The room and whole apartment is really nice. Clean and bright. I stayed with two other friends and the front room was perfect for us. It can get a bit noisy from all the bars right outside but not too bad. It's in the most perfect location too. Several other rooms are rented out in the apartment so sometimes you had to wait to use bathroom but nothing too bad. Laundry costs €3. Gracias joseba!

The room was as it appears however I did find it misleading as the room is part of a 5 bedroom apartment and you are sharing accommodation with multiple guests. Travelling as a group of young girls we found the strict rules restrictive and wish we had been aware of the set up as we would have booked accommodation more appropriate for our trip. The room we stayed in was also on the main street and above two bars so it was extremely noisy during the night and the early hours of the morning. Great location and very clean and tidy.

I had a nice stay at Joseba's place. The room was exactly as pictured, and quite spacious. Joseba was quick to communicate and confirm the room, and met me promptly for checkin. He explained everything about the apartment and provided lots of information about the area, including a printed guidebook in different languages. He was very nice and even put some extra food in the kitchen for anyone who wanted it. This room does face the street, which is one of the main ones in Old Town, so there is some noise, even with the windows closed, during the day and evening. Mostly people talking, kids playing, etc and not loud music. I only stayed Mon - Wed night and even the bar crowd noise wasn't that loud and ended around 11pm/midnight. Weekends may be different? This also means an excellent location for eating / going out in Old Town so YMMV. I would say if you like peace and quiet, and intend to relax in your room instead of just using it to sleep, choose another room not directly on the street, but you may end up with no windows at all. Also, the beds were quite nice, the mattresses soft but not sagging, maybe a foam type mattress? Anyway, good stay and would choose again, though next time perhaps an interior room!

Joseba was an excellent host and the location is amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to San Sebastián. The complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back.

Chris and Susi were great hosts. We arrived in San Sebastian in the afternoon when they were both working. No worries! We organised to meet Chris at his work where he gave us the keys to the apartment and gave us all the tips of the town. We didn't see them much after that as we spent most of the days out exploring the beautiful town and Chris and Susi seemed to be working a lot. The room was clean and comfortable, as were the shared bathrooms. The location was perfect. Overall, a good stay. Thanks Chris and Susi!

The situation of the house is spectacular sencillamebte! Chris I saw coming to the house once and not met Susi. The house is very messy and gives no sense of hygiene upon entering. The bathrooms are clean and the rooms although not bad at all. It seems expensive for the service they offer.

Our stay in what Chris and Susi was excellent. The room is nice, is comfortable and practical. Super location, just meters from the beach and close to the historic center. Susi, who has tried most every day, was very gentle and kind, besides being a very biased person to help at all! Undoubtedly, we would stay here if we have the opportunity to return to San Sebastián.

Chris and Susi were great hosts. They were very welcoming and friendly with lots of great tips for eating in San Sebastián and even helped us to book a reservation for a restaurant just outside of town. The room is small but perfectly fine and the location is perfect - away from the noise of the old town but walkable from both sides of the river. Would recommend!

Simply perfect. I chose Chris and Susi's place because of the previous good reviews and if couldn't have been better. From the beginning communication was prompt, warm and welcoming. Both Chris and Susi are delightful people and experienced hosts. Check-in and out was very flexible. They provided me with lots of information. The room is bright, clean and comfortable. And the location is top. 1 min walk to the beach, 3 to the old town, plenty of shops and bars nearby. I have checked into a hotel now but I wish I'd stayed with Chris and Susi.

Pedro's place is in a fantastic location if you like to be in the center of the action. Super convenient, although quite a bit of noise coming from the street below. That didn't bother us at all. Pedro was great and accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves, maybe a little too much.

Pedro was a fantastic host, check in was smooth, he gave us maps and some excellent recommendations for eating and drinking. The room is spacious with one double and one single plus two sofas! Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the old town and near la concha bay!

Our stay in the Eva and Rodrigo apartment was just perfect. The apartment is well located, immaculate, quiet and nicely decorated. Supplies abound. Multiple attentions and Eva recommendations are a valuable asset. We ate almost all pintxos bars Eva told us and we were not disappointed! Parking accompanying the apartment is a real plus not to be overlooked. In short, a stay in a perfect place with perfect services: Eva even shovels and beach buckets children hidden under a bed! For our first Airbnb, we were spoiled. Eva thank you for your warm welcome, we will return ...

Eva (Rodrigo's wife) was great and so was the apartment. It was nice and close to the beach, the supermarket was just around the corner and there were also a number of great bars/tapas close buy. It was about a 10-15 minute walk around to the old town, but it was flat and easy. Eva was the best host, she even left us fruit and croissants for breakfast and a bottle of local cider to try! The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need (including beach towels, which was very helpful!). Would definitely recommend.

Awesome experience, the flat is perfect and very well situated in a calm part of the city. Rodrigo and Eva have been perfect hosts giving all necessary indications and support. The bottle of wine in the fridge at our arrival is one of the sign of the fine attention they give to their hosts. Thank you, wonderful airbnb stay.

I have been fortunate to stay in many floors AirBnB in many countries but I must say Eva (Rodrigo's wife) is the best hostess I've ever met. When we arrived, we found a nice apartment with fruit and a guide resturants and places to visit. It is a perfect location for Gros beach and you can walk to all the best places in Donostia. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic stay in beautiful San Sebastián. Flat very clean with lots of extras available such as shampoo and shower stuff. Complimentary food and drink on arrival which was great after a long journey! Location very close to the main tourist attractions. We were fortunate enough to have our bikes with us. If you can,take them - cycle paths everywhere and the best way to see the sites. Eva and Rodrigo very friendly and helpful and keen to recommend places to see and eat. Lu's apartment is in a prime area of San Sebastian. Next to the promenade of Playa de la Concha and minutes from the old town. The apartment has two bathrooms, so it is very comfortable, if more tenants match. Lu is very nice and made very good recommendations.

Strategic location, everything as described in writing and in the pictures. The host is friendly (you have to know a little bit of Spanish!) and was very nice to us. We would definitely stay there again. Be aware there are two cats, so consider this if you are allergic. Otherwise no problem!

This is everything that's promised: a room at our disposal, as well as a kitchen and all that very close to the beach and literally in the same street as some nice bars. It's also located within reasonable walking distance of the old part of the town where all the restaurants etc. are. Aritz's mother was the only other one there and she was both respectful and nice. We even received breakfast one day because it was especially gloomy and rainy outside. The cats were not overjoyed at first but within a couple of days we had built some trust. Everything promised on the profile was provided, the stay was therefore exactly how we imagined it. I could not be happier with our choice!

We had a great time at Aritz's place. It was an amazing location. Great bars nearby and close to the ocean. The room was clean with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. His mother was super nice and helpful. We highly recommend!

Everything has been great. The location of the house is perfect, 1 second of the beach and Josefina has made me feel at home. If you need a house in Donostia I would not think twice and go there.

You can not describe in words how we feel at home Josephine, is a great, attentive and super nice people woman who immediately makes you part of your home. A more than recommended place, much more than a room.

I had a fantastic stay with Ruben! Excellent facilities - wifi, shower, washing machine etc, and the TV also had many channels in English which was great for me. La ubicación del piso de Rubén es increíble: no podría estar más céntrico, en la parte vieja de San Sebastián. Rubén y su novia son personas muy acogedores y divertidos, siempre listo para ayudar o contestar preguntas. I'd recommend it to everybody. It has been a great pleasure getting to know Rubén and his girlfriend, and San Sebastián itself is an unforgettable town.

Ruben and his partner were very lovely people. He was easy going and I felt very at home. The room was comfy and quiet and right in the middle of the best that San Sebastián has to offer.

House in good standing in the center of Donosti. Next to the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd. spacious lounge. As it appears on the page. I was a weekend. I found it very noisy house. Many people and I as if it were not ..... No repitiría.

Incredible location! But you get what you pay for... Renovations unfinished, old linen and worn out bed. Would still recommend with this warning.

Ignacio's house is very well located, close to all tourist access to the city is wonderful. It rained every day me and one had fever, the house has amenities to be if you got unlucky to feel bad like me. The tea gives the information needed to go and is very friendly to chat.

We were very friendly received by Ignacio. He has prepared everything to us with private bathroom for a pleasant stay in the room (map and guide of Donostia, coffee and tea, beach towels). The room was very clean and had a private balcony with sea view. The beach was only 5 minutes walk and the Old Town could easily be reached in about 10-15 minutes. On the street we ate delicious and reasonably priced, authentic restaurant Gora Bera. Thanks Ignacio our stay was a complete success.

You have to go to check. It has an expresso machine which is great but neither was able to use because it was in a hurry to go to the bus station, but I appreciate it. The neighborhood is muu near the bus station (12-15min walk) and San truth is made almost everything.

The apartment was just as described. A beautiful old building in a really remarkable location. I know San Sebastian really well and can say this was a pretty unbeatable spot. Right where all the good stuffs is at but not in the really busy /too noisy streets. I really like how close to the river it is. The apartment itself was clean,. Comfortable and had everything you would need. Communication was good and Jose was really helpful. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're visiting San Sebastian

A very great host. Gonzalo picked us up at the bus station in San Sebastián in the evening. The apartment is in a nice area with coffee bars en small super markets. The beach is easy to catch with bus 41. Step up in front of the house and off right in front of Zurriola beach. We really liked Gonzalo's place. It has everything you need. Gonzalo's place is lovely, and he is a really friendly and helpful host. The check-in arrangements went really smoothly, he had great tips for visiting San Sebastián, and he was in regular contact via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) to check that everything was going well! The place is very nice, clean and tidy, with everything I needed. It's a bit of a long walk into the centre/old town, but the buses are very quick and reliable so this wasn't a problem. I had a great stay!

Alessandro made us feel at home. He is so nice and gave us advice about what to visit. The flat is great located, near the Zurriola beach and 10 min walk to Parte vieja and La Concha beach. As for the floor everything was great, clean, tidy, good wifi. The neighborhood is quiet and no noise at bedtime, but later until 23h no atmosphere, terraces and a super brewery. Alessandro is an attentive, responsible, committed and host are all praise for him. To repeat without thinking.
