Jun's place was perfect. The apartment is in the best location. A short walk to Shibuya station and all the action - but far away enough to feel relaxed and get a great night's sleep. The place was very clean, comfortable, and modern with all that you would need to have a great stay - and you can see My Fuji on a clear day! We loved Jun's place in Tokyo. It was in the perfect location that was large, clean and comfortable. It is Close to Shibuya, one of the largest subway stations, and we could walk to many other neighborhoods. The apartment also came with a pocket wifi device we could take on the go.

I have no doubt that Jun is awarded as the super host by airbnb. She is nice, attentive and very helpful to us. My husband and I were impressed on our arrival with a basket of fresh fruits and one big bottle of water, this is the first of 5 times we stayed with airbnb and had this kind of experience. She gave a lot of introductions around the apt and neighborhood. Jun's apt is very clean, good space, functional as seen as in the picture, homey, modern building with the security doors, and walking distance to Shibuya station in 7 minutes. You can find lot of cafes, restaurants and bars just around the corner. All in all, we love staying here and definitely recommend to our friends and family. Thanks so much Jun!

Our first airbnb experience and Jun was very helpful and welcoming. The place was nice and quite close to Shibuya station.

Jun is amazing! She helped us book reservations at restaurants that didn't speak English and any other issues we had with places that provided little English translations. She was very kind and personable any time we texted with a question and the room was simply amazing! It's perfectly located in the heart of Shibuya, and every time we came back from a long day of sightseeing we would get to go through Shibuya Crossing. There were 4 great restaurants within 2 blocks and two 24/7 convenience stores as well, perfect for late night snacks or an ATM stop before going out. The next part is a little embarrassing but has to be said to show how amazing Jun is. On our 3rd day we clogged the toilet pretty bad, I'll spare you the details but it was pretty gruesome. While we were out we texted Jun and spoke on the phone about the issue. We were so worried we would be blamed for this or even worse tossed out of the apartment. Jun took it in stride and called a plumber and the issue was fixed before we even got back! She took a mortifying experience and made it something to laugh about. A perfect host! If she is available, take advantage! 5 stars all the way!

This is a really beautiful apartment. It's particularly good for a traveling couple. The view is breathtaking especially during sunrise. The neighborhood doesn't lack anything and the walk to Shibuya center is deceptively short. For non-Japanese on the way in, just make sure to keep an eye on which side of the train tracks you are on while walking to find this place; you'll need an underpass or overpass to reach Sakuragaoka-cho from Shibuya station.

The place is 5 min from the Shibuya station and the famous crossing. Excellent location! The place is suitable for 2-3 people, we were 4 and it was a little tight for us all. Masa was a great host, very responsive to messages, clear instructions how to get to the apartment. I would recommend this place!

A very good location, 5 min walk to Shibuya, many restaurants and convenience stores around. It's a little bit small for three people with lots of luggages like us. Taru was very helpful, we kept contacted before and after the stay.

Great location. Just few minutes from Shibuya Station west exit. Lots of eateries in the area. Place is small, typical Japanese apartment. Clean with free pocket wifi. Taru is very responsive with all our communications. We know where to stay next time we are in Tokyo.

The place was really near to JR Shibuya station. Just around 5 minutes walking distance. Taru replies us really fast too. The size is just nice 2 pax.

THE GOOD: Like many others have said, the location of Taru's place is PERFECT! Totally accessible to Shibuya station, and just a few minutes walk from Shibuya crossing. Abundance of restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. The place matched the pictures perfectly in terms of decor and layout so I was not disappointed in that aspect. Taru provided a nice pictorial about how to get from the station to his home - the only difficulty was going up and down stairs with all our luggages! Be on the lookout for elevators instead of following his instructions to make your life a little easier. Also, his pocket wifi was extremely useful. THE BAD: cleanliness and accessibility to enter the listing was an issue. We found a lot of long black hair on the floor and in the bed. It made me uneasy to use the blankets. I also encountered a big cockroach and a spider while I was here. My bf and I were also unable to unlock his mailbox to access the key even though we tried tirelessly and followed the instructions exactly. Despite this, we were still able to find a workaround by wiggling our hands through the mail slot enough to still access the key box. Another complaint is that he has a japanese, electronic toilet but we were unfortunately unable to use its features since the instructions he included in the manual was for a different model... the manual needs to be updated. OVERALL - despite the cleanliness issues and other small hiccups, I would still recommend this listing to a friend merely because of the location. On the grand scheme of things, it wasn't the dirtiest place i've ever stayed at, but I still think it can be improved.

We had a great time in Japan. Although we had a little trouble with check in, everything else went smoothly. The apartment is well furnished and stylish. The location is minutes from Shibuya station and Shibuya crossing making it easy to find something to eat and access the rest of Tokyo. The hill and subsequent stairs make sure that during the summer months, you are always drenched in sweat when you arrive. Do take note that the doorways are quite low and the taller people in our group hit their heads at least once a day. Kan was a great host and able to answer any questions we had and provide recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely reccomend staying with Kan for the great location and hospitality.

We highly recommend Kan's beautiful apartment. Kan was an exceptional host- super friendly and responsive. The water and snacks were extremely thoughtful and came in handy after a long night of sake consumption. The apartment itself is an awesome location. Only about a 5 minute walk from Shibuya station yet on a safe, quiet street separated from the craziness of Shibuya. The apartment was very large by Tokyo standards and comfortably fit the two of us. You should not be scared away by the fact that it's on the fourth floor- the floors are very short and it was not difficult at all getting our suitcases up to our room. My one suggestion would be to do (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map directions from your arrival point in Tokyo to the apartment because the apartment is not on a main road and the streets of Tokyo can be very confusing for a first time visitor. It was a very nice rooms have been renovated although the highest and old buildings located a 4-minute walk from Shibuya Station. The climb up to the fourth floor with the heavy luggage on the stairs does not have a lift of the old building because is was a little tough, but the amenities are also substantial, but the kitchen also was easy to use a washing machine. If there is an opportunity also I would like to use it by all means. Thank you very much!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was superbly clean and arranged, with everything we needed. In particular, having the coffee maker was great, with a wide variety of the single-serving cups. And having the clothes washer/dryer is just fantastic during a long trip! The location is quite good in a blissfully quiet, borderline residential area. It's a short walk (up a small hill) to the Shibuya station & district. One thing to note that it's also just a short walk (10-15 mins) south to the Daikanyama district. Daikanyama is a modern & relaxed little neighborhood with some trendy shops (maybe a bit like the Venice area in LA) and has an awesome little bookstore (Tsutaya Books) and quiet coffee shop-- fantastic if you need to get some work done while visiting. The information provided was simply perfect. The instructions to get to the apartment from the station are detailed (complete with pictures!) and the appliance labels are helpfully translated (don't underestimate this unless you have pretty good vocabulary of Kanji-- at another AirBnB in Japan, we spent 15 minutes with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate trying to get the AC on...). Next time we come to Tokyo, this place will be our first choice.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Location was excellent and very convenient. Building seemed modern and new, and the flat's all white interior looked light and clean. Instructions provided were easy to understand and the owner was also very quick in his replies. An added surprise benefit are the many small hills throughout the neighbourhood that made for great muscle building daily exercise;-). Nearby supermarket was sufficient enough to provide daily ingredients, though as the name indicates, is "petit". Luckily, there are a multitude of larger shops within walking distance and provide a vast array of choice. Another happy surprise is a vegan restaurant a few 100 meters from the flat, which made even a meat lover give a thumbs up (highly recommend). I would recommend to anyone to stay here and my next visit would definitely be here! Many thanks to a great host!

The apartment was amazing! It is a short walk from the Shibuya station yet located in a very quiete residential area. There are many small but great restaurants and convenience stores nearby so it is also very convenient. It is also close to Daikanyama area with all the cafes and shops, so the location is truly fantastic. The building seems a bit old from outside but the apartment itself has been very recently renovated so it is brand-new! Everything including kitchen facilities, toilet, bathroom, washing machine etc are new, clean and modern. The rooms are spacious enough for a family (couple with a few children) or a group of friends, decorated in a tasteful & cozy way. The rooms get plenty of sunlight, too. The owner was also v responsove with my queries. Its a wonderful home away home and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Landlord gave very detailed information, so that is not hard to find. Inside the facility are particularly good, especially the toilet system is too convenient, but also more advanced than the hotel. House near the cafe taste particularly good, we're going to have the intersection of forty-eight fisheries. But the most important is that the landlord is responsible, whenever contact can be obtained fast response, and eager to help us solve the problem. Highly recommend folk, to Tokyo next time will choose to live here!

Hion's house is very nice, we felt at home the moment we stepped in. My kids loved the house so much, and played happily everyday as if it was their home. The house was very spacious for 5 of us (3 adults & 2 children), and super clean too. Basic necessities were provided, and the plus point (for me!) is the washing machine, so we did not have to bring tons of cloths :) Location is OK, pretty near to Shibuya with a little walking, and there was convenient store nearby, where we could get our daily needs. Mobile wi-fi was also provided and this especially helped us a lot in navigating from our point to another. But what I appreciate the most was the host. Hion was super helpful, he waited for us to arrive at midnight to ensure that we could get into the house safely. He was also very responsive to my questions, and even helped us to book taxis early morning for our return to airport. I would really recommend this house (my little daughter was crying loud when we reached our own home as she wanted to go back to Hion's house, hahahaha)

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Kyle’s charming apartment. Kyle sent detailed, easy to follow directions (with pictures!) to help us find his place with ease. The location is spectacular, right at the top of Dogenzaka with a beautiful view from the balcony and easy access to the station and Mark City shopping area. Kyle and his team thought of everything including a fantastically reliable and fast mobile hotspot so we were never lost anywhere we went! The bed is super comfy; we slept so well after our long flight. These guys know exactly how to please a traveler. We plan to travel to Tokyo again in a few months and I really hope this wonderful flat is available for us!

Kyle's place is just next to Shibuya Mark City. He is very prompt in replying the messages and provides you with excellent directions (pdf inclusive of photos to guide you) to ensure you get to the apartment. There is also a very thorough instructions manual provided in the apartment and amenities such as hairdryer and iron are provided. Space is super comfortable for one person and big enough for two.

You're a two-minute walk from great clubs and music venues, including the famous O-East, and the restaurants and bars that abound in this neighborhood. Great stay- everything was as described and pictured. Great location close to Shibuya station and plenty to see and do.

The accommodation was per photos; comfortable, cosy and clean. The location was unbeatable, being about 5 mins walk from Shibuya Station! Communication with Yurie was fantastic making the entire check-in/out process extremely simple.

Contact is very fast. The room was able to stay in peace clean. Sheets and towels it was Kokochiyoka' with the smell of detergent. To everyone, we would like you to stay at by all means Yurie's room. These rooms can recommend really you.

The room is just a short walk from Shibuya st., Just close busiest intersection in the world a show in the evening with lights that seem to feel in a video game. Comfortable room for two persons is the maximum. I would certainly return.

Clean, comfortable space to rest and unwind! Yurie was very kind to have left some delicious snacks and eye masks upon our arrival. Bathroom supplies were well-thought and unique. Yuri's place was spotless and clean. She gave excellent directions and location is ideal (behind cerulean towel for airport limo and few mins from shibuya station). Room is small as expected in tokyo but we were comfortable, we loved the Japanese set-up of the (URL HIDDEN) would definitely return to this place. We were fortunate that this place had an elevator (compared to our last 3 accommodations in japan). One trait of Yuri is that she is in constant communication and gave tips around japan. It is within walking distance to the Shibuya Jr station but it was challenging lugging our suitcases up and down slopes. In Shibuya travel this house is very suitable to live. Walk from Shibuya station to the residence needs 7-8 minutes. We took 2 children 7-8 years old the first time to go over 10 minutes. Familiar with the road is still very convenient to the road map is the best landlord and clear. Room layout and facilities are very good, we do not feel crowded seven people; a lot more than we set out in Osaka spacious. Housekeeping very clean, equipment is also very wide. To live in Shibuya, Tokyo here is very convenient. Next to Tokyo will consider staying here.

It was a great apartment! Small but roomy enough, and very cosy and clean! Plus only residents with the key can enter the building, so it was really added to the safety (Japan itself is a very safe country already), thoroughly enjoyed my stay there! It was not as near to the train station as I imagine, I had some difficulty locating the building at first as the exterior was under construction, so I walked right past it thinking it was abandoned. Then I had to lug my huge luggage up the stairs to the third storey. THAT being said, it is still in a great location and an awesome alternative to the hotels in the area that offer steep prices. I'll recommend this to anyone!

We stayed for 3 nights. Everything was as described. Couldn't fault it at all. The location is perfect and after day 1, we could get home without using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. The pocket wifi lasts about 4 hours on a full charge and we had 2 devices connected. So if you're gonna be out all day, bring a portable backup charger! The walk to the train station was less than 10 minutes and very easy. The walk to Shibuya was also about 10-15 minutes and very simple. The apartment complex is very quiet. When we come back to Tokyo, we will 100% stay here again and also recommend it to friends.

The apartment was very well cleaned and prepared for us. It was a little smaller than expected and there could be more space for clothes and things but we managed. We were extremely happy with the location, with the nice and calm neighborhood and the easy access to the Shibuya station, it was perfect. However, we did have some problems with the gas stove, even tho Ian was extremely helpful and even sent someone to check it out. Still, we couldn't get it to work properly. The washing machine wasn't that good either, we did exactly like the instructions said (can't really go wrong there) but we weren't happy with the result. Besides that, we were happy with the apartment. Shibuya is definitely one of the best places to stay in Tokyo, it's got everything you could possibly need. Recommend it highly. Overall, we had a great stay in Tokyo and the apartment.

The location was really great. On foot you could quickly reach good restaurants in Shibuya, Shibuya is the bus stop directly down the road. The apartment is small, but for a few days together much cooler than a hotel room. It was clean, we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. Ian is a great host. Personally, we have not met him, but he answered all our questions promptly and in detail. We would not hesitate to book this apartment.

It was a pleasant and convenient stay at Maya's house. Even though I never got to meet her, the communication was very good, she replied always really fast. The place is mostly clean and neat,, rooms are small and a bit dusty and the walls are thin, but that doesn't matter as the other guests all well behave and don't make loud noises. And soon in Shibuya, Daikanyama is also very good, ten minutes away La positionally foot. First floor living room and toilets were clean gyesyeoseo minutes you clean every day, the atmosphere was very quiet at night. Located on the second floor, but the room was a little bit difficult carrying luggage up to the top.

It is nice to talk to each others even though you have to be aware of keeping the noise quiet since you can hear almost everything happening in the house. Getting to the place is quite easy with James' direction booklet is also very helpful. The place is quite decent and all the amenities listed are there. Many eateries around the corner and very near the station.

James' place was very comfortable, and perfect for our time in Tokyo. It's a very quick walk from Shibuya station, and very close to lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment is exactly as you see in the photos. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just finished a 4 night stay at James place. The location was perfect and close to Shibuya station. The room is very spacious. More spacious than any Airbnb I have stayed in while traveling throughout Japan. James is very quick to respond to any concerns and will even show up to the door step if we are missing anything or require anything. Very good host. I would stay again if I came back to Tokyo.

Great location in Shibuya. Really appreciated advice for what to do in folder Ricky had compiled. Really made our 2 night 1 day stay in Tokyo a wonderful experience. Also appreciated his prompt help on looking for a particular shop which turned into a really interesting place that you would only find in Tokyo

I hope I can express how fabulous our experience was . Ricky sent an information package before we even left home, detailing the way to get to the apartment with such precision, there is no way you could miss it. Just a 5 minute walk to Shibuya crossing and the JR Shibuya station. Ricky has a house manual that will give you many options for all sorts of ideas for outings, restaurants etc. All the information needed for a pleasant stay is in there. Very clean, comfortable and located in a quiet area. Small but convenient kitchen as well. There is a Lawson ( convenience store) right across the street and a small supermarket just a few metres from there . A pocket wifi is also available for use and we just loved it. We didn't get to meet our host but we had no problem to communicate. If we had a question , it was answered promptly. We highly recommend this apartment and we wouldn't hesitate coming back. Had a bumpy start to our stay in Tokyo with another booking falling through, so it was such a relief when we found Ricky's place! Not only was he super prompt in getting in contact (we made a same day booking and he sent through all the relevant info within the hour), but was kind enough to check in with us to make sure everything was to our liking and even helped us to find an English speaking doctor nearby. The apartment itself is beautifully presented and was thouroughly cleaned before we arrived, and we were so grateful to be able to drop our bags off early to avoid having to pay for lockers at the station (which is an easy walk from the apartment). Lots to see, do and eat nearby - it really is super conveniently located. Overall a fantastic experience and we would glady stay again next time we're in Tokyo! Thanks Ricky :)

Ricky was an excellent host and incredibly communicative! He even let us drop off our bags after we arrived earlier than standard check in. The location was perfect and it was in a quiet part of Shibuya, yet still close to all of the action including the Shibuya crossing and the station. The apartment was clean and cosy and the pocket WiFi was key. A+++ experience!

Ricky's place is perfectly situated close enough to Hachiko crossing but tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood in Shibuya. Very clean and organised. Ricky's communication was great. Definitely recommend.
