I found myself very well at home Mateja. The house is gorgeous in nature and the silence of the countryside. I recommend it to lovers of tranquility and beautiful scenery. La maison spacieuse avait été préparée pour notre arrivée. Propreté et confort. Décoration moderne et sobre comme on adore. Mateja nous a conseillé que visiter dans le coin et nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour la capitale à 40 min. La maison est à la campagne, avec jardin. Parking aisé. Le wifi Ok. Pleins de jeux pour les enfants.

Great place half an hour from Ljubljana. Clean and comfortable apartment in a quiet setting. Superb hosts that make you feel part of the family. Worth recommending.

OMG, this is the best experience I got trough Airbnb so far. Jernej and his family welcome us as we were their friends and make us feel so welcome and at home. The place is small and cosy, next to an small river, its very close to nature, its a part of the family compound but its very private, in others worlds, its a beautiful place. Its very closed to Ljubljana (around 30 mins drive). Its perfect for an small family or couples who are looking for intimacy. We learnt a bit about Slovenia's culture, language, food, drinks, thanks to Mira, Rok, Katherina, Jernej, Tara and Teo and of course, mi sheriff Janez. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...I thinks this is the perfect experience that people looks when we rent trough Airbnb.

The house was great in a very beautiful area

Very good location just on the coast of the Krka river. Very big and comfortable house and very quite and scenic environment. The host left a lot of food and other necessities that was very helpful for us. Our children joint us surprisingly and Barbara still was very welcoming although the number of guests was 5 instead of the planned 2.

We really loved the house of Barbara in Krka! It was perfectly located, just 30 minutes driving from Ljubljana, central in Slovenia. And since Slovenia is a small country, you're close even to Bled, or Narodni Triglavski (only 1h30 driving). The house had a lot of charm, and lots of space. It is surrounded by a beautiful piece of nature: in front quiet green hills, a wood and a small beautiful river; in the back a huge garden. Our kids really loved the swimming pool just in front of the house. Barbara was always available when needed. We stayed in good contact with her. And what we loved too, she offered us a campfire in her garden!

The house was lovely and large. Everything you need is there. The area at the river Krka is beautifull. Barbara is very kind and helpfull.

The owner of the house, Barbara, was very friendly and explained everything about the house and the area, made good recommendations on where to do the food shopping, good places to eat and for biking. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. The area is very quiet and nature is at the door step: beautiful forests, the river Krka and nice hills to bike. We didn't see any other tourists around, which was very nice. The locals we met were very friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need for a holiday: a fully equiped kitchen and a washing mashine. A little minus point goes for the bathroom: there is no shower, just a bath tub were you have to sit to wash yourself. It would be better with a shower courtain. But we were lucky with the weather and pretty much just used the outdoor shower by the pool. The garden is big and beautifully laid out with flowers, fruit trees and a green house with vegetables. In the summer I strongly recommend to take some product against mosquitos (just at night). They were flying around our ears the whole night! The access to the highway to Ljubljana is just some kms away. There are good restaurants and many turistic points worth seeing in the area (the Krka town, the caves and the source of the river, the Zuzemberk castle and the Turjak castle). In Velike Lasce we strongly recommend the restaurant "Pr’ Brlogarju" (address: Male Lašče 37 a, Velike Lašče). Not only the food was great, also the service and the more than reasonable prices! We also went to the coast twice to spend the day (Piran, Porotoroz). It is only 1,5 hours away by car and a very beautiful excursion. What we loved the most is that - apart from Ljubljana - there are very few tourists around. Everything feels authentic, not just made for the tourists. We are happy with the house, with the host and with the area! A great holiday.

Nous avons été bien accueillis et avons passé un séjour très agréable et très calme dans un environnement magnifique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine et le jardin. La situation géographique, assez centrale permet de bien rayonner en Slovénie. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

Lovely place. We rented both houses and have to say much better than we expected. Fantastic garden and homes equipped with every comfort.the host was really nice and helpful.

This is the review of a group of friends (10) spending their new years vacation here (5 nights): Primoz was such a great host! He organized everything perfectly. The two houses were in great condition and the property as a whole was just beautiful. If you want to escape your daily life for a few days, this is the best place for you. supermarkets are also closed by and if you enjoy nature and the woods you found the right place to stay. Even though we accidentally broke the glass in one of the doors, Primoz was very easy about it and handeled the situation great. We were 10 people in total and that was the perfect fit for the two houses. If you are a group of similar size or even larger, do not expect to get more than one or two private rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped including a dish washer in each house. All in all, this was a lovely vacation and a great place to stay!! Thank you Primoz!

Staying at Apple Tree Cottage was a wonderful experience. The three bedroom home is large and very comfortable. It was much more than we expected! Our stay was for one month so we were able to really get to know the Krska vas and Krka area. Igor's parents were absolutely wonderful. They had the cottage prepared for our arrival and showed us around. They are a charming couple! We were able to get vegetables from their large garden and apples from their trees for baking. Being a few miles from the Expressway made touring the Slovenian countryside very convenient. Putting the exact address (which Igor supplied with his directions) into our GPS made finding the cottage a snap. I would highly recommend Apple Tree Cottage for a family. We will miss it.
