Lovely stay at Vinh and Stuart, we enjoyed the room and it was an excellent location. You can walk to circular quay in 45 minutes from the house.

We had a great time in Sydney, staying in this convenient location. We could walk into the city, catch public transport close by as well as enjoy the local cafes and restaurants.

Ditto everything that has been said here about Vinh and Stuart (and of course Kenji, the best behaved Pom I have every met). They are the consummate hosts and they have a stellar location for exploring Sydney. We shared two fun evening dinners together. The experience was exactly what I was hoping for when I signed up for AirBnB-- truly traveling like a human with all of the personal contact and comfort that implies. I can only hope that the next time my travels take to me Sydney, Vinh and Stuart are still listing their room! Thank you guys, it was a wonderful experience.

Vinh and Stuart gave us a great welcome and talked us through everything we needed to know. They also pulled out all the stops to give us the attic room for one night when we contacted them to ask if we could start our stay a day earlier than originally planned. The house is in an amazing position and it really lifted the spirits being able to eat breakfast overlooking Sydney Harbour! Just a short walk away were some good eateries, the Star Casino & food mall, and the Light Railway connecting us to the city. A fabulous place!

Vinh and Stuart were very friendly and welcoming and I had a really nice stay at their place. The house is comfortable and well situated in a nice suburb and in walking distance to the main spots in the city. Would definitely recommend them to friends :-)

We had a great stay in the fabulous apartament of Vinh and Stuart. Both of them are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean and the bed comfortable. The light rail is just a couple of walking minutes away. The Darling Harbour is ca 15 minutes away. All in all we had a great time in Sydney with special thanks to Vinh and Stuart. We can definitely recommend these hosts!

It was a large, well-proportioned room, handsomely fitted up.The hosts even prepared candles,CD player ,adapter for (URL HIDDEN) a pity that we just stayed for a couple of hours ,I hope we can spend more time in the house when I come to Sydney next time.

I was lucky enough to stay in this unit; as I am frequently in Sydney, I guess I have a good benchmark on what the local market looks like. Location wise, it's where I'd want to be and would recommend; close to transportation (central station is walkable), the CBD, Surrey Hills gastronomic hot spot... The thing is, this unit is special as in a quiet street and has this cosiness and unique charm essence to it, it really stands out for its interior. All appliances one would expect were available and well functioning. Despite a severe heat wave during my stay, the flat remained rather cool I didn't even need the aircon on for sleeping. Personally I hope to be staying in the unit again and use it as a base when in Sydney for some duration, it is just perfect for a single or couple.

Thanks Noa for being such a flexible and communicative host. Despite not seeing Noa, she was very helpful and made checking in a breeze. The place is unique, clean and the bed is too comfy. Could sleep in it all day. the place is a dream home to me filled with unique decor pieces, books and even tea provided. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely, well fitted out apartment over two floors in a block that's in a quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes walk from Sydney's central station. Thais, our host, was delightful, giving us a thorough guide to the area and providing us with a range of basic groceries on our arrival. She checked with us that all was well after a day or so but otherwise kept out of our way. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment as a place for a couple to stay for up to a week, as we did, or longer.

The host has great attention to details and very responsible. We had a great experience. Highly recommended.

The host is super nice and friendly!! The home itself is just like how it was shown in the photos! Well-equipped, spacious and clean!!! It's quite near to Central/Redfran station, around 10-15minutes walk. Just that there were robberies happened nearby the building and in one of the buildings in the last month(as written in the notice posted at the entrance), which makes me a bit concerned. But in general it's still okay, as you can take Uber when you go back late! Not expensive, around 8-12 aud from anywhere nearby the city! All in all, it's a GREAT STAY!

Such a homely and warm place! We very enjoyed our stay at Thais's place! The room is spacious, clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. We stayed for 5 nights and had no issues with noise. In a quiet area but really close to the downtown area, and easy to access the surrounding attractions in 30 minutes. Highly recommended! :)

Wrapping up a 3-month overseas business trip with a 3:30am wake-up call for a flight from Cairns to Sydney, we were thrilled to be treated to a warm and welcoming place to unwind and catch up - Dean and Bron's gorgeous place in Surry Hills. Prior to arrival Dean emailed us with airport distance/taxi information and we found that very helpful. We were greeted by Bron (and the fab scents of her candles) and felt right at home. We were made welcome to coffee, tea, wine, and wonderful company throughout our stay. Shone to our room, we deposited our bags and headed out to see the neighborhood. And what a neighborhood, beautiful wrought-iron balconied rowhouses that one might only dream of seeing inside. There was so much to do, see, and eat in walking distance - including the Bourke Street Bakery (don't miss the almond praline croissant!). Dean and Bron were spot on with recommendations and directions. Back home for the evening, the room was perfect with a small balcony, comfortable bed, mirrored dresser, fresh towels, and a beautiful bathroom just across the hall. The toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, body wash - were sensational, a special, thoughtful touch. Dean was generous with his wi-fi code and we checked email using his smoking hot network. We highly recommend a stay with Dean and Bron at their amazing Surry Hills home. We felt immediately at home upon entering Dean and Bron's beautiful home. Everything from a cup of hot tea to their son's kindness in carrying our luggage to our room made it feel more like we were at a good friend's home, rather than someone we had just met. The accommodations were exactly as we expected, the house being decorated with Bron's flair for artistic expression. George and Silbey were two of the most chill dogs ever. Dean and Bron had fantastic recommendations for activities and restaurants and the neighborhood is charming, unique, and very walkable. We didn't have a car and we didn't need one. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay, centrally located in inner city but v quite with excellent cafés close by. We could walk to Circular Quay in half an hour! Bron & Dean we're v welcoming & we're happy to share the world cup quarter final game @ 6am. Bedroom was perfect, with balcony & own bathroom. Our only comment would be the double bed, was very comfy but a bit too short for my 6ft husband. Otherwise a great experience for our first Airbnb.

I was just back from Vietnam with my apartment airbnb'd until the next day, when my guests departed. So although a short stay, it was just what a jet lagged traveler needed, chilled, comfy, welcoming. Even the cats & dogs were totally laid back. From the moment I first contacted Reid, to the moment I checked out, it was truly superb. The space is a reflection of the man; well positioned, brilliantly clean, keenly elegant and just downright welcoming! So much thought and care has gone into every aspect and this is evidenced throughout. The only unfortunate part of my stay was that I had such as busy schedule as this precluded me from spending more quality time with both the man and the apartment ;) Absolute 5 star rating!!

Reid was very friendly and hospitable. He made sure that my arrival was flawless (from getting the key to settling in). The listing (the location, common room, bathroom, and my room) was very accurate according to the information and photos posted here. The unit was located more or less on the second floor after climbing up few stairs. Might be challenging if you have many (big) luggages because it has no elevator, but totally worth it. The unit was clean and homey with nice view from the balcony, in a great location (about 1min walk to Hyde Park and 2min walk to the beginning of Oxford St). The area was so quiet and peaceful although it was located very central. One amazing thing that I found was the guest information folder that has Reid's floor plan and description, as well as clippings and maps related to travel and tourism in Sydney. Very informative and useful for many. Equipped with speedy wifi, coffee and tea were provided, including the amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, and other stuffs just like in hotels (even better). Hot shower worked well and fast (if you are being particular about this as some people do). Bed was very comfy and I could sleep well. No AC inside the bedroom but that was not a problem at all since the fan was enough to make the room breezy and cool. Another highlight was there was a roomy space in the wardrobe dedicated to put your stuffs. I found that staying with Reid in his place was more than just the listing itself. His friendliness and great hospitality were more valuable and important additions to his lovely place. We had a great conversation, sharing thoughts and laughter, even in such a short time (mostly after 9pm when we both were at home). Great personality, respectful, and always stay true to himself. I admired his determination for work, as well as for his personal being (living healthy, eating healthy, etc). Something that I learned from him. Thank you so much for everything. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Sydney city center, not only because of the lovely place, but also the lovely host.

Reid's place is fantastic! Exactly as pictured, the apartment is within minutes of public transit and tourist attractions. Reid also had great advice on the neighborhood and a wide selection of tourist guides and maps for reference. Favorite part of my stay was walking down to the neighborhood cafes a few blocks from the apartment. This was a wonderful first AirBnB stay - Reid is a great host!

Reid's apartment is ideally located with all Sydney touristic attractions at a walking distance as well as great cafés, restaurants and shops in the lively Darlinghurst/Surry Hills neighbourhoods. Reid is very welcoming and happy to share good addresses. Highly recommend if you're travelling solo and want to make the most of Sydney in a nice, clean and friendly environment. Reid is a busy person so he's always in and out (for those who need more privacy) but equally a great host.

Mel's place is exactly like the pictures. Open, light, and spacious. Perfect location with respect to the Redfern train station, door to 'door' it takes 20 minutes to get to Circular Quay. Mel is a perfect host, and her dog Harry is adorable :) We would definitely stay again.

Mel is a great host. She's very easy going and so laid back. Her room is bright and lots of natural light. Harry her labradoodle) was so sweet. Harry greeted me with one big woof and she is friendly. Like what Mek said, Harry wouldn't even hurt a fly. Staying with Mel is a great experience with lots of flexibility. Mel is radiating like a sunny day on the beautiful Australian weather. I love her photos. She's a very talented photographer. The location is very strategic and a stone throw from the bus stop and public transportation. It's close to everything. Will definitely stay with Mel again when I come back to Sydney.

Mel was a fantastic host, she was up to meet me even though my check-in was quite late and so lovely to talk too! Her adorable and very well trained dog Harry was also there to gave me a very warm welcome :) The offer of a cup of tea , warm shower, lovely clean home and very comfortable bed were just what I needed after a big day of travelling. Mel also gave me great directions and recommendations, don't even bother checking (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), just ask Mel! All in all a great stay, would definitely stay again if I'm back in Sydney!

I had a good time at Mel's home. She was always very helpful. The dog of her, Harry, was also cute! The house was such nice with great arts, a terrace and a comfortable living room. I had everything that I needed in my room and the bed was very comfortable, too. In addition it's just a few minutes with the bus to the Hyde Park (to the city). There is a supermarket (5 minutes away), a park and a swimming pool in the neighbourhood. So the location is absolutely perfect!

Mel was helpful, warm and welcoming, even before I arrived. Her place is attractive. I loved the old features and the warmth of the timber in the bedroom. Mel went out of her way to make my stay enjoyable.

Had a short stay with Mel and Harry but made to feel very welcome and had a lovely time in the Redfern/Surry Hills area. Close to transport links, lots of nice cafes/restaurants within walking distance, and a nice spacious bedroom to come back to. Shared bathroom but never felt like we were intruding. Mel was lovely and inviting and Harry was very friendly too.

I was the first visit to Sydney. And It was a good place I could relax I can use Mel's house as my home. I appreciate Mel and her boyfriend welcomed me.

The location is excellent, being a two minute walk from The Spot, with all its restaurants and bus stops. It is a stunning place inside, and the room and bed are excellent and comfortable. The aircon is also very good. Catherine and Tony are great hosts and their dogs are lovely and friendly.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Cian's place. Cian and his girlfriend were very welcoming and easy are easy going people. The flat is very nice and also very clean. The location is perfect, with Randwick main street only a 10 minute walk away and Coogee beach not far either. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Walking distance to UNSW, very good place to stay if you came here to study. Buses to city right in front of the house, which was also good. Craig was overseas but his son checked me in and was very helpful & place was well kept. Would be happy to come back again.

Personally I stayed in room three nights and four days. Table tennis is fun, as host, Craig also very kindly gave to itguyo can floss. The large room beds big and very clean. When I would walk the five minutes to go the store is very convenient. It is strongly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at Craig's place, it is clean, and comfortable. The location is adjacent to UNSW, and to shopping street within minutes of walking. I also enjoyed all the talkings I had with Craig. This my first time to visit Austrilia. Craig gave me a much better understanding about the country and its economy, from a successful businessman's points of view. I will definitely stay again at Craig's place if I have the opportunity to visit Sydney the next time. BTW, Craig is a good table tennis player

Staying at Craig's place was excellent. It's in a great location - close to the university and plenty of shops and restaurants. Very clean and tidy. And Craig is an excellent host and great to have a chat with.

I had a pleasant stay at Craig's. The taxi from airport takes about AUD 30. And it is a walking distance from UNSW, which suited me perfectly. It is also near busstops to Bondi Beach and the City. And if you enjoy a longish walk, the Coogee beach is a great place to spend the evening. Take a left after coming out of the apartment and the take the right in Cook's Street at the end of which are lots of places to eat. Besides location what makes staying at Airbnb listed places are the hosts. That makes a big difference. Craig waited for me though I was late (held up at immigration) and he had to go out for dinner. He was in a hurry but patiently explained me everything about the stay. The next morning we chatted for a long time. He is a fun person to know. I intend to keep in touch.

Good location not to far from the Randwick shops. Apartment was a little difficult to navigate on arrival but once we got the details all was fairly easy. A pretty high security building. Bed was nice and comfy. A bath mat would've been nice in bathroom. Other than that we had a lovely stay :-)

Angelica was not well organized to prepare the room. The lower bedroom is not recommended because it has no windows and an unstable bed. The best is the long pool, which is reached with a few jSchritten. The location is conveniently located between Airport and City. Angelica was very trying in the course of my stay that I feel comfortable.

It's really wonderful to have Angelica as my host during my stay in Sydney. Not only is she friendly, she is really helpful as well.

Angelica and Louis are a lovely, young couple. The room is right off the kitchen so can be noisy. I was out all the time and only home to sleep so it didn't bother me. It could have been cleaner but I am sure they are onto that. The unit is very handy to buses into the city and to the airport.

We stayed 2 nights at Anna's place and enjoyed it. Anna was very helpful with check-in and communications. Great location very close to all the local restaurants, cafes and cinema and everything really. Also a nice easy walk down to Coogee Beach. Our stay was comfortable and relaxed. There was some constructions being done to the building at the time but did not affect our stay. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. If you want a great location to everything, close to the city and beaches this is it.

What beautiful hosts! A sudden trip to childrens hospital, stressed and worried, I could not have asked for a more comfortable, supportive home to stay in.
