The Priest Room at Lamarque is a self-contained 'apartment' with kitchenette and private shower room with wc. The apartment sleeps 2 (double bed) + 2 (sofa bed) in one room and can be configured to suit your exact needs - i.e. 1 x double bed and 2 x single beds or simply 1 x double bed. Lamarque is an ensemble comprising the 19th century manor house, attached 18th century Chartreuse, a protected inner courtyard formed by an old bakery, a covered terrace and period stone buildings. Other buildings include a period stone carriage house, bakery and a wine chai. The original walled orchard and vegetable garden is intact. The swimming pool is set within yet another courtyard one side of which is bound by a period structure with a summer reception area, fitness room and separate shower with a wc. Separately, there is a spacious covered recreation & BBQ courtyard with an attractive water feature. Lamarque is a unique private estate amounting to 10 acres with century-old oaks, magnificent cedars and immense evergreen oaks which retain their foliage year-round, interposed by several expanses of lawn and a meadow. The property is very secluded with a private tree-lined driveway and yet only minutes away from the medieval bastide of Montréal du Gers with excellent facilities or Condom, 10 minutes, where there is a more comprehensive choice and useful supermarkets. The regional centre of Agen is 40 minutes away, and is strategically positioned midway between Toulouse and Bordeaux on the A62 autoroute with a TGV railway connection and local airport with direct connections to Paris. Guests staying in The Priest Room share the estate with owners Mark and Amy (and Skye and Flame, our two Gordon Setters!) and are assured of a high level of privacy, however from May to August inclusive, the Chartreuse is let as a holiday home and during this time the courtyard and swimming pool areas are reserved for the exclusive use of Chartreuse guests only.

We had a great time at Aurore and Sylvain who were a very nice encounter. The setting, the house and the hosts were just great! The house offers many benefits with garden, barbecue, quiet, tranquility and comfort. It is close to the city center (20 minutes by foot by the park of Garenne and 2 minutes by car). We will definitely come back and recommend Aurore and Sylvain.

Isabelle is a fantastic host. Her place is beautiful, central and romantic. There's a magical garden with a table to eat outdoors and a summer kitchen as well! The tower suite itself is amazing. It's like a fairytale! It is also clean and fitted with everything you need and plenty of space. The place is clean and tidy. Chantal is really friendly and welcoming. The housing offered for rental is adjoining hers while being completely independent. It is quiet in the countryside while being very near Condom. It was not warm enough to enjoy the pool but I imagine it would be lovely in the summer.

we were warmly welcomed on arrival with a bottle of local red wine and shown around the gite. Both Florence and David were charming and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, maps, suggestions, offer of daily croissant or baguette. Le Hour is a place of unbelievable peace, an atmosphere of quiet excitement is all around, bird life abundant, wildish life on the property -donkeys, dog, cat,goat and sheep enhance the feeling of being rural. The gite was comfortable, warm, rustic décor, books at your finger tips-everything as described and as one could wish for. Next time we return to France a stay here will definitely be scheduled. if you are looking for a retreat look no further.

We had a very pleasant stay, everything was perfect at, communication, hospitality and especially housing in itself! Well placed, very close barbotan (less than 2min drive, 5-10min walk), supermarket within 5 minutes drive, short on top!

Petit logement très correct pour le prix, très bien équipe, le coin chambre pratique et contact téléphonique sympathique avec Arnaud . Un peu éloigné du centre mais à 10/12 mn à pied. Region agréable à visiter, villages typiques et bonne gastronomie pas chère.

Appartement impeccable, avec balcon-terrasse isolé, à l'abri des regards. Arnaud est très disponible et donne beaucoup de conseils quant aux activités et lieux à visiter. Pas mal d'animations en période estivale. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour.

Bon accueil , logement fonctionnel dans sa simplicité. Le seul petit souci , nous devions être seuls et finalement des pèlerins étaient la mais sans gene pour notre séjour. Logement bien pour dormir. Bonne literie. Logement silencieux. Ville très agréable et logement proche de toute commodité
