Nice room with private bathroom. Easy-access to room, without having to go through house. Provided towels, Keurig w/coffee, extra pillows, water bottles, and mini fridge. We found the bed to be comfortable, but everybody has their own preferences. It was perfect for our weekend.

Loved it-the hostess was great! Patio is wonderful and love the dogs!

Wonderful location! Close to highways, shopping areas but in a very quiet neighborhood! Can't say enough about how the Host answered my questions, gave advice and greeted us with a smile.

Ruth made me feel very welcome. She is an artist and her home is decorated with much of her artwork. I found the room clean and comfortable. She left me a welcome card with her artwork on it. She also brought fruit and a picture of fresh water to the room shortly after my arrival. The next morning she had a nice little breakfast for me. The neighborhood has a nice family atmosphere and felt very safe. It is located close to just about everything, including where I had my meeting the next day.

The room was cozy and the neighborhood was very quiet. Ruth is very nice and friendly person. I would stay there again.

Ruth is an incredible host. I got to experience American culture by virtue of her generous hospitality, her dog 'Jo-Jo' and the friendly neighbors. She provided me incredible insight and tips on things around Pleasant Hill and Bay Area. Plus she gave me tons of functional tips as well.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who want to spend time in a clean and quiet area in CA. Ruth was such a kind host as well as an artist with a nice house! 10 mins walking from the nearest County Connection bus stop. Easy access to DVC and Sunvalley Mall not to mention an amazing fast food chain In-N-Out ;)

Great home, great host! Peggy made great efforts to make sure all of her guests are happy. Clean home, great neighbors. Peggy is very artistic, and her whole home, even her painted kitchen floor, are quite the pleasant sight to see. The home is in a scenic residential neighborhood with only 1.5 miles (easy walk) to the vibrant but sane town of Walnut Creek.

I had a great stay at Peggy's place. It was a beautiful home and I was lucky enough to have a room all to myself, so it was very quiet. The location was close to a bus stop, which provided easy access to downtown. Peggy did show up to help me check in and she was a very friendly and courteous host.

Great experience! Juan is extremely friendly and welcoming. The place was the cleanest air bnb we've stayed in. He let us park in the garage since we had belongings in our car and was overall very accommodating.

I have not met a host yet as hospitable as Juan. His home is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I have already made arrangements for another two weeks to complete my school session. Juan has made my stay delightful, and that in itself, has been a big help in continuing with my training.

The host is very welcoming and kind. The apt and room is very clean, orderly, with super nice appliances. Area is within walking distance to many grocery stores and shops.

He gave me free access to his home, but my stay was brief and I only really needed a place to sleep. Juan's place is fully remodeled and spotless. Very comfortable bed and clean. Delightful first Airbnb experience. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in a very safe neighborhood.

The room was large and comfortable with a huge walk-in closet. The shower was lovely and I had everything I needed for my three day stay. Colette, the host, was available at all times, should I have had any additional needs. The coffee provided was Peet's, which is my favorite.

As with my previous stay this stay was great. Collette'so place is a home away from home. I always feel welcome, and we'll taken care of.

Just wanted to say thanks to Collette for making this a pleasurable stay. The room offered good accommodations and privacy. Having a private entrance gave me flexible time to come and go without disturbing my host. Collette also kept in touch with me and asked if I required anything during my stay. It was fun speaking to her and Laura when I saw them working in the yard. I would definitely stay here again.

I was in Walnut creek for a week ling trip. This is a very beautiful and clean place. The bed is very comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. With the private entrance, you get your privacy too. Collette was approachable at any time via text. This place is full of amenities you will require during your visit. I would love to stay there when I am in the city.

I stayed here for almost 5 weeks because of work, and this have been one of the best experiences with Airbnb so far. The breakfast Quinn serves everyday is delicious, it made me eating breakfast everyday even i am not a breakfast person. The room and bathroom were beautiful and maybe more important, very clean. Quinn has an easy personality and is very helpful to his guests. in the last week he even made me a Hamburger, and I got to say, it was the best hamburger i ever tasted in my life! ;)

Be prepared for an amazing stay! Quinn has really set the standard for my first Airbnb. His kindness and hospitality was more than I could have ever asked for or expected. I felt like I was at home! Quinn was a great host. He and his house was warm, welcoming and very nice. The house was beautiful and totally spotless. He had a ton of accoutrements and toiletries available along with a chilled bottle of water waiting on arrival. The bed was really comfortable and the neighborhood was quite. He served a very nice breakfast before I had to run out the door for my meeting. He also provided some towels so I could clean the morning dew off my car window. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I was coming back to town.

A top-drawer stay. Quinn was available to great me and made getting my bearings easy, and had a helpful page of information. His home is very comfortable, clean, and orderly. I appreciated breakfast. He is a gracious, attentive, and flexible host who extends hospitality, showing an obvious interest in his guests. The house is great and we have a lovely time here. The host is patient and kind. The only obstacle is the location is a little bit far away from San Fransisco. The traffic was bad to go back home from the city sometimes.

The house is spacious and big. The location is perfect,the neighbourhood too. What we disliked was the dirty bathroom(there were hair and dust everywere), the sheets weren't clean. We expected much more,especially when we paid 125$ cleaning fee.

The Pleasant Hill apartment was the perfect destination for our weekend staycation! Comfortable and quiet, yet close to all the best of the Bay Area. Daphne and Rich gave us complete privacy. The communication was great. The listing was exactly as described and pictured. Everything was clean, and check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Hosts are responsive and nice. Know what you are getting in to: the property is not as it appears in pictures: What can't be seen is that the property is actually pretty run down, not super clean and generally just feels a little funky. Not terrible by any means, but definitely not as modern and clean as it appears in pics. We were pretty disappointed based on what we were expecting vs. what we showed up to. Manage your expectations, and you may be fine.

Daphne was a wonderful host. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and an extremely comfortable place to stay. Everything is very inviting. The kitchen is beautifully equipped (need elegant wine glasses? a variety of good knives? an awesome blender? a cake stand? ). There are thoughtful touches like extra outlets for charging computers and phones. I was sorry not to have a chance to use the sauna. The back yard was very pleasant. We had a car, so I don't know what access to public transportation access is like. The house is in a pretty, calm residential neighborhood, but there is a large shopping center a few blocks away and you could walk there for a morning coffee (if the various coffee makers in the house aren't enough). We had a bit of a hitch at one point, and Daphne truly went far above and beyond to get things working smoothly. While this is a relatively new listing, Daphne and her husband are clearly experienced and effective hosts. We had wanted to get an idea of what living in Pleasant Hill was like - and we loved it! Many, many thanks to Daphne!

Everything was ready for our arrival. Great ease in getting in and leaving each day too. The location was good for our visit with our son's family. We had a great time.

Well I absolutely love the place it's very cute it's very spacious the only con is that I have is him there was no coffee but a coffee maker and there was like one towel and no dishwashing soap I want to be able to wash dishes and stuff and had to go to the store and of course forget it but when I try to clean up after myself there just was no Lotta cleaning supplies there all in all it's a wonderful place

Sally was just absolutely amazing. I am CEO of a multinational and I have been all over, Sally made our experience easy, simple, quick, and she was always available to talk. This is my first time trying AirBNB and i must say that i had a best 1st experience. Sara's place is one that I will always revisit when I'm in the area. It felt like home away home. Love the cleanliness, the interior deco and of course the kindness and helpfulness of Sara. :) 100% Satisfied!

Sara's rental is extremely clean and very well-appointed. It is roomy and nicely furnished. The Concord BART station is nearby and makes for a quick (40 min), stress free trip into San Fransisco. I highly recommend Sara's rental!

Had a great stay at Sara's place! Not only was it clean and well-appointed, but there was a thoughtfulness and intentionality with the space that you don't see in most Air BnB rentals. The icing is Sara herself, who is a super host - not only responsive, but also genuinely concerned with your experience. Our stay at Sara's in law suite was stellar. The place is beautiful, and so well laid out and appointed that it feels spacious while being cozy all at once. My two teen girls and I were greeted with a nice welcome note from Sara, bottled water, and some chocolates. It's a super clean, fully updated, easy access unit on a quiet street with no traffic. Stores and restaurants are just 6 minutes away. We loved the comfortable sofa, soft bedding, and perfect beds, including the sofa bed I slept on. I woke refreshed and enjoyed the Keurig coffee Sara provided with the easy to use coffee maker. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is in this designer looking unit, including lux hand sips and lotion, a washer and dryer with detergent and softener, a desk, plenty of pillows, and an efficient kitchen. Entry was a breeze, as Sara provided all the details the night before we arrived. There's a beautiful tree on along side the pathway to the unit, plus a terraced fern garden just outside the door. It's a zen oasis. Before we left, Sara came out to introduce herself. Her three beautiful children said hello to us too, and I couldn't believe they'd been in the main house all along, because we never heard a peep. We will definitely book this lovely rental again soon.

Pattie is an excellent host. She made me feel very welcome and was friendly, gracious and attentive. The suite is tastefully decorated and is very comfortable, clean, and well organized, with a kitchen, desk and living area, as well as handy information on the area. It has a pretty garden and is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood, in a convenient location. I have enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to solo travellers, business travellers and couples.

Pattie is an exceptional host and her property is first rate, just like her taste in her decor, outdoor area and amenities provided in her Quiet Retreat. I highly recommend this place for a couple trying to get away -for the first class shopping, a business traveler - there's a working office in the apartment or the adventurer who wants to jump on the train and head to San Francisco. I stay here for one week , during my stay , Pattie is always take care of me . The room is super clean while I entered , Pattie set up everything for me , you can feel so comfortable as 5 star hotel and peaceful as your home . Kitchen equipment is so complete , if you come here for take rest and love cook like me . Pattie's house is definitely your first choice . BTW Pattie is sensitive about smoke , please go farther if you smoke .

When I was fortunate enough to book her place, Airbnb had it listed as"seldom available" or "usually booked". I don't remember the exact terms, but I understood why immediately. The place is gorgeous. It's clean. It's quiet and private. She has every amenity you could hope for already there. The bed is comfy, and all the finishes are top quality. For a business traveler like myself, she has great wifi, a computer desk, and even a small copier. Pattie is quite possibly one of the nicest and most considerate people I've ever met. Pattie's suite is extremely nice, well furnished and perfectly maintained. Pattie was extremely responsive, very welcoming and looked after every detail. I was not there during the time of year to enjoy the yard and nearby trails, but plan to stay again. Great location close to Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek.

This is my second trip to Quiet Retreat. I've now traveled a reasonable amount using Airbnb and doubt it's possible to find a more accommodating, responsive, but respectful host. The apartment is extremely well equipped with just the right amount of privacy. I will be returning for another multi week work assignment in the area which offers plenty of choices for accommodations. I look no further than Quiet Retreat.

Adam is a great host! There's a big nice backyard next to your room, which gives you a nice view. The location is great too, the neighborhood is nice and quiet and downtown Pleasant Hill is only a few blocks away. The mall in downtown is pretty new and there are a lot of shops and good places to eat. This is a very convenient option if you have things to do in SF but you don't feel like staying in the city.

Monica's space exceeded all expectations. After staying a week with her, I opted to extend my stay. The room is clean, comfortable, and private. Great bathroom space as well plus a 2 minute walk to dining, drinking, or shopping options. Also, it's on the route for the free bus that'll take you to the Pleasant Hill BART. Loved my time there!

The hosts were a very friendly young couple. We were happy whenever we had the chance to converse with them even though they weren't around much. The area was ideal location for us to visit our daughter in Concord, a 20 minute drive on one road. There house was very nicely updated and it was great to have our own bathroom.

We were super late but Moshika and her husband were their to show us the house and our room. We just spent one night but it would have been a pleasure to stay more. The neighborhood is very quiet. I recommend Moshika's place !
